Unfortunately for him, his business partner didn't know nothin' about the restaurant business; nothing. All his partner knew was sitting his fat ass down, ordering unlimited all-you-can-eat free meals and drinks from the menu for himself and all his freeloadin' goomba friends, running up huge tabs he had no intentions of paying off, loansharking him on top, effectively bankrupting him and then burning down the place to claim the insurance $$$$$! Like I said, he knew nothin' about how to make a restaurant!
De Leon I never realized until two years ago that was Tony Darrow. He himself had mob connections and was convicted for extortion back around 2010. Never realized that The Sopranos had a real mafioso on set.

He could have been a script doctor, but he compromised. He got his ass kicked by Artie.
His idea actually made sense and fixed the hole in the script of how the cut up body parts could be close enough to reassemble. Artie found out it was his garbage route and beat him to a pulp.
It was actually a clever solution.
When larry pointed to little carmine and said "the porn we did", that was slightly awkward.

This is a strange story. He used some Gambino enforcers in an extortion racket. After Sopranos and having a relatively successful acting and singing career-- the crime happened in 2004, during the show! He got his start in acting from a horror/mob movie called Street Trash.
Also, the guy who played Albert Barese was arrested for his involvement in a drug ring in New York.
I wonder if these guys' roles on the Sopranos, if real life mobsters wanted to get close to them due to their fame. A lot of them were NY and New Jersey natives and became big celebrities among mafia guys and so they got close to that world.
This is a great idea for a channel. It really unpacks all the delicate little storylines from the series that can be easily missed
