I truly believe if the Soprano Family stayed in tact after Tony is whacked at the end of the show like many think then the Barese Crew would have taken over the family. They were the largest crew in the family for years but would have Larry Boy and Albert two mafia veterans at the helm. They did their own thing and just kicked up but seemed to stay out of a lot of the internal mob politics. A lot of the other crews were in tatters or defunct by the time the show ended.
