It’s crazy to me that you didn’t realize how much you were doing when the rest of us were simply in awe ! Not only did you build a house, you simultaneously were sharing the entire journey and building up multiple businesses. It’s WILD ! the amount of time and mental and physical energy. I commend you!!❤
I'm so glad you're finally feeling as proud of yourself as we have always been of you. You have accomplished so much. You really deserve all the happiness in the world. We adore you, MaCenna 🪷
I grew up in a very dysfunctional home and I could watch your videos and think what a charm life you live. But instead I see a humble sweet girl who deserves everything good that could come her way.
I completely agree with your comment! I see so many people in videos who just seem entitled and unappreciative but MaCenna works so hard to achieve the things she has and loves what she has. I grew up poor and worked hard for what little I have and have learned it’s not what you have but valuing what you work for! Best wishes to you! ❤
Most likely the Agapanthus will be a bluish purple. The nice thing about agapanthus is the blooms last a long time. Usually in So Cal they bloom on Memorial weekend but I suspect they are blooming late due to the hard long winter this year. Remember to let the stalks of the blossoms dry up before cutting them. Have no idea but every gardener I’ve ever had has said don’t cut off the stems until they dry up a bit more”. Something about their blooming for next year. Agapanthus are always a hearty addition to any garden in So Cal - easy to care for, nice looking plant, pretty when blooming and it’s pretty hard to kill them lol. FYI be proud and feel good about how much you’ve accomplished. It’s hard to realize how much you are accomplishing when your up to your eyebrows in projects. Stretch out that arm and pat yourself on the back - you done good girl!
You love yourself and remember give yourself that big hug you still alive. You're a good person. We all have stories from our childhood we could not control. Now you in control. Baby steps daily❤
A former florist here. You should actually use room temp water and place the roses directly into it as fast as you can after cutting. The stems start sucking air as soon as they are cut. Super cold water will shock them, they grow/thrive in warm conditions. After roses “process”/drink the room temp water for at the very least an hour they are placed in a cooler at a flower shop to keep them longer. Also keeping them out of direct sunlight will help them last longer. Never use scissors use a sharp knife or pruners. Scissors pinch the stem and prevent them from taking water up into the stems and cause head drop.
About three years ago, before you started your renovation of the cottage, I was looking on you tube and found you. I loved your sweet vibe and energy, there was just something about watching your Sunday DIY videos I enjoyed, so I subscribed, now years later I look back and am amazed how much you have not only grown, but evolved, and taken us along with you. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication, you have inspired me on countless time and my family know when MaCenna is on not to bother me, sometimes when I would find myself in a tough spot I would ask "what would MaCenna do?"" Don't ever feel that you are not enough, thank you for reminding us that even though one can be fearfull, the power of the human spirit lives on in those who love to create.
Don’t forget hydrangeas change color. The one you called “light/pale pink” is actually changing color due to the soil. You can turn her back blue and richen the pink further. Fun research read! I love seeing anyone enjoying a garden. It’s restful for the soul. We love you girl.
Also Hydrangeas Drink water through the flower! So if you ever bring some inside and they start to look sad, just put them head first in a fresh bowl of water and they will be crisp abd happy again! 🌸
MaCenna, we are all completely blown away by your drive, your creativity, your resilience, your personality, your strength! Its so nice and touching to hear you give yourself the acknowledgement, you really deserve it ❤
Macenna is my favourite UA-cam channel to watch. She’s so inspiring and genuine and kicks ass when it comes to making her dreams come true and doing it herself. I am truly pleased with every thing she has achieved, it’s so good to see hard work pay off for people who really seem to deserve it. This also extends to the whole calm, dreamlike quality of the channel. I am sure Macenna’s life isn’t perfect, not all the time but just watching her eat healthily, take care of herself and her loved ones and home, eco friendly living, go on trips etc is really beautiful to watch. Am I living vicariously through her? Sometimes. Well done Macenna, you should be proud of everything you’ve achieved.
BTW, the vibes of the last 2 intros have been so beautiful. I really loved the summer dreamy view of the LA home 2 vids ago and the introspective monologue in the last one. So thoughtful and considered. 💕
You have accomplished more in the last 2 years than most people will in their entire lifetime! Whatever you put your mind to you will get it done! It just amazes me what you did to the cottage in Texas. It is a totally different home. I can see you there but I see you more so in Los Angeles. You come alive when you are in LA. I like the cottage and I am a small town girl, but I absolutely love the LA home. It has that 1937 era. You can just feel it. The gardens and the pool area are breathtaking. You could transform it into a beautiful Tuscan backyard. McCenna I am half your age and I just want to tell you to just take time to stop and to literally smell the roses in life. It goes so fast young woman and those days turn into years before you know it! So spend some romantic evenings in the garden with Romeo and plan those children soon because 35 will soon be 70 and you will wonder when did it happen! Happy Birthday sweet child!🎉❤
I love how you and Romeo just seem to be such good friends next to being a couple. You support each other, laugh with each other and just know each other so well. I feel like friendship, truly liking the other one as a human being is the true secret to long term happy relationship. I‘m really happy for you guys. (Of course we don’t see everything but that is just the vibe I’m getting)
I used to get very emotional when I was pregnant, I know that’s not the case but I pray that you guys will be blessed with a baby in the near future. ❤
MaCenna this year I am 45, I also studied fashion, but instead of going into the industry I decided to travel through Europe ending up settling in the UK. I also had the most amazing relationship with my mother and I miss her every day. I totally enjoy your videos, you are an amazing young woman who is such a great example of what you can achieve when you set your mind to it. Thank you for sharing your life and allowing us to share in your achievements. I honestly do not mind when you change up your schedule, I get notified and I get excited to see the next video, please just keep doing you!
No lie, MaCenna… you are one of my heroes. Watching you over the years has been one of the most awe-inspiring gifts. I’ve grown so much from everything I’ve watched you pioneer, and have become fearless in my handywoman skills. Thank you for sharing your journey with all of us!! I think it’s opened doors for women everywhere. It certainly has for me.
This video has such strong Cancer energy 🦀 Crying with gratitude, panic cleaning so Romeo would be comfy coming home to a clean house, freaking out over the beauty of nature, etc. 💚
You are a decent, hard working, family oriented, animal lover, and disciplined young woman. You should be very proud of yourself because God has showered you with many gifts to share with others, and you. So, Praise God! Proud of you! 🥰
I haven't watched the vlog yet but I feel compelled to express my gratitude to you. Today has been such a treat with the podcast episode and then this vlog (which I know will be a pleasure to watch as always) As a hardworking 18 year old student with a fair share of financial worries I'd, for the longest time I could not bring myself to admit it, but I'd given up on even trying on getting into university and being able to sustain it financially for what's essentially half a decade. But hearing your story today of always choosing and being determined to look on the bright side just made something shift. That was enough to get me to fill multiple applications today and looking ahead once again, after so long of avoiding to out of a feeling or despair and pointlessness. Something you said struck, which was being miserable despite not being a fundamentally by nature upset person because I've felt the same for a few years at this point too. But still, today your channels have been a specially big blessing compared to other days and I am so thankful for positive and real energy you radiate. Regardless of what happens after, today was saved and that's one more reason to smile. Thank you once again, may even more great things come your way in the future.
Raina, I hope MaCenna doesn’t mind but you may also benefit from watching Furniture Flipping Teacher. FFT paid off her education debt in a year by renovating second hand furniture to sell. Go back to the beginning of her journey and you’ll see all her financial stats at the end of each Vlog. Also, MaCenna didn’t magically wake up one day as a master carpenter. Their journeys start at the beginnings of their Vlogs and are an education for every women needing the inspiration to make good things happen in their lives.
You sound extremely burdened for an 18 yr old. You don’t have to attend college if it’s creating that much anxiety. Have you considered a trade school? Through life we do what we need to do to pay our bills. With a bachelors degree, I held 3 jobs at one time, until I found my career. Then I went on to obtain my masters degree. Where there is a will, there is a way. Become focused.
@@genevievemurray7743 I remember her! She paid off like 27k I think within a year, such an inspiration. And of course, as a UA-cam kid, I feel so grateful for all females here who share the ups and downs of their journey to help others, definitely take some notes there :)
You are blessed. The majority of people go go go, work work work and never accomplish as much as you have. Yes, be proud of yourself. I have been painting one room & it's been almost a month.
I used our table saw for the first time the other day to make some legs for a dresser I've been working on, and I owe that to you. I had suddenly realized how many little things I was asking my husband for help with in our workshop, and I made the decision to stop acting helpless, because I know I'm not! I thought to myself, "MaCenna isn't scared to use all the power tools, so I won't be either!" 😂 I had my husband show me how to use it, and I was surprised at how easy and fun it was. I had been missing out on doing things on my own because of fear. Thank you for helping so many of us overcome those fears and tackle projects on our own!! ❤
Girl!! I am a 64 year old woman who has been watching you for years! I love your beautiful videos. They are inspiring to me and you are so sweet and dedicated. I think you are awesome!! Much luck and love to you and your family. Keep up the good work ❤love ya
honestly so glad to see your house looking so relatable during big DIY projects! whenever I'm working on something its like a tornado has gone through the whole house. Thank you for sharing reality of a home going through projects!
Don’t ever change who you are. You’re an accomplished, smart, creative, talented, driven and wonderful young lady. However, I’m hoping your emotions might be a sign of something else good. Not just your realization that you’re an amazing person lived by many.
Macenna, I love your content tears and all!! You show us the real life of Macenna but you also reflect us, your viewers, where we want to be. All of us want to be happy and content with our lives. What you create and how you show us your process gives us life, hope, for our sweet spot in life!!! ❤
I only follow two UA-camrs religiously, you and Kristina Braly. You’re AMAZING! Whenever I want to procrastinate, I think about ALL you accomplish in a day and that you don’t sit around. You’re fabulous and I’m glad you’re finally realizing it in your reflections. ❤️❤️
I feel like your accomplishments started with that little girl who exclaimed ME DO IT and a Mommy wise enough to let her little girl try her wings on her own. I smile thinking of your Mom stepping back ready to step in and catch her baby girl if she falls to hard or too fast. Watching your channel has been a lovely ride, thank you, Crystal
MaCenna, you are honestly a huge inspiration to many of us who watch your channel. The cottage is a true testament to your hard work, determination and creativity, it’s absolutely stunning!! Been having a tough time lately and being able to catch up on your contents brings me so much happiness, allowing me to decompress which is much needs in my occupation. You truly are one of the most genuine creators I follow here on YT. Stay true to yourself and don’t change a thing. Ps, LOVE the pool idea! The fireplace colour looked brilliant in the tester shot so can’t wait to see it all come together xx
I am in such awe of you. You’ve conquered everything you set out to do and in the beginning, you were creating blind. That you learned as you went, never gave in, and completed everything you started is more than impressive . You deserve to feel every emotion that you have now. Be happy!
As a pool owner, I’m so happy to see your pool looking much better! 😍 look into Saltwater if you don’t want chlorine, and a tip about dark blue pools… you want to see the bottom of the pool, so a bright aqua crisp color is best… you don’t want to swim with things you can’t see! 😳
omg I cant stop thinking that you keep mentioning that you guys wanna start a family soon and that the emotions are there! Just a thought I had while watching ;) Absolutely love your channel and your videos! It is so refreshing to see hard work paying off for someone that deserves it so much :)
Your dreams are coming true macenna, that’s why you’re emotional ❤ I’m a couple years older than you but had my first son at 18 then another little boy 10 years later and I still didn’t get the reflection phase till I was around 30. I think we begin to accept ourselves more and not let outside influences affect our emotional state. We realise what’s important Family, friends and seeing beauty in everyday life. Finding our passion, everyone has one 😊
I’ve been watching you and your channel , for about 3 years now, enjoying all the things ! All the content, but this one, was by far my favorite, I feel like you were hands down the most real MaCenna , every day, emotional, proud, vulnerable, appreciative, happy, content, excited for your home, excited for your garden, showing the imperfections of creativity , it felt raw and honest ! I’m so proud of you guys ! ❤❤❤
MaCenna, I’m a former teacher who after struggling to get through college then struggled some more with state certification exams, student loans, never ending work that took time away from my boys. I had two sons and after a while I threw my hands up and decided “I can’t do this anymore.” I felt like such a disappointment because I’m the first to graduate college. I’m older now my boys are grown and I spend my days babysitting my grandson. I admire you so much. So brave of you to keep soul searching. And to c u smile as you snuggle into your sofa with kingsley is so inspiring. Thank you thank you thank you 🙏 Your words touched my soul! Marleen in NYC
We love you, your drive, energy, motivation, and how you manage to still stay humble, but you are human. We are indeed in awe of everything you manage to accomplish and share with the world, but at the end of the day, please take time for yourself, or else your body will make sure you do. So happy for you and that outdoor area is truly a paradise on earth.
Your podcast on that topic was phenomenal. It was so validating that we’ve been told these ideas mean happiness and we have to find ways to create it. So incredibly inspiring!
Homeowning as a millennial is a HUGE accomplishment in the economic climate we grew up in. You should feel super proud; you worked so hard to get where you are!! Our time will come soon as well; for now, our family is making the best of our condo with small projects and living vicariously through others like you! ❤
Homeownership has always been a hard thing. When I bought my first house, the interest rate was 18%! Rates came down and we refinanced at 13% and that felt like a bargain! 🤣🤣 It's always hard for one reason or another.
@@Lucinda_Jackson well the average income to housing cost was way more favorable in your time; not to say it wasn’t hard nevertheless. Summer jobs and side hustles aren’t cutting it let alone affording basic standard of living for our generation ❤️
Oh MaCenna, you’re the sweetest. You are absolutely loved by all of us. I never get bored watching, small confession. I get so sad after your videos because I don’t want them to end, that sometimes I try to let two go by (even I’m anxious to watch them 😁) only so I will have a longer time to watch you ☺️. My mom even is hooked on your UA-cam channel. You are just so amazing, talented and such a wonderful person. God bless you always
I love that your creativity gets messy. Mine does as well. I’m thinking of you being reflective since you are turning 35. I remember 35. August I will be 71. Your ability to try something and not worry if it doesn’t turn out the way you imagined just makes me happy. Living in an unhappy marriage stunted my creativity. After being separated, I am blooming like your garden. Everything you do brings me joy. Thank you.
Hello you have definitely been on a whirlwind journey with both houses, and with your own personal life it’s okay to feel that way. Take some for yourself to unwind and relax you will get it all done. Pace yourself it’s find GOD BLESS.🙏🏾🥰💖💯💫
It's crazy how in 2-3 years you went from renting in LA to owning two homes in two states - one of which you gutted, rebuilt and rearranged AND renovated and designed. Give yourself multiple pats on the back, we're all proud of you!
Even though I'm not your mother, I feel so proud of you for all you have accomplished. Keep striving, creating, and giving us all the encouragement to do the same!
Macenna you’ve always been amazing. You inspire us so much, even my friends now have coin a term “Macenna-ing” everytime I tackle a project. They tell me I can literally do ANYTHING! And, that’s all thanks to you. Coz you’ve shown me that I know I have it in me, so anything is possible!
McKenna- ur an amazing woman and such an inspiration. Procrastination being fear of failure is so wise. I love the colors you have chosen. My girl- you need to take a load off- you have a life and Yes, content is a major part of it however, you need to rest, reflect and recharge as much and as often u need!! Once you become a mom, u will need to take time, and it won't be an option BUT a necessity!!❤
Your house is incredible Macenna, and so is your enthusiasm and passion for everything you do. The Jasmine makes an amazing trellis plant. We had it on a trellis at my parent's house growing up. It would look great near the pool
You should be very proud of yourself, you've come a long way from the days of watching you do Dollar Tree DIY's . Whenever I see a video drop from you, I stop what I'm doing and cozy up on the sofa with my laptop in my lap. I'm a huge fan!!
When I watch you be creative, I’m like WOW!! But when I watch you actually EXECUTE the idea and do it WELL (craftsmanship)-that’s when my jaw hits the floor
MaCenna you are an amazing woman. It doesn't surprise me that you didn't realize how much you've accomplished. Being a gifted, driven person you set your mind to the task and finish. As a subscriber I've followed you for quite some time and so very proud of your journey. Your the number one person I look forward to watching every single week. Always stay the sweetest most humble person that you are. ❤
Discovering the thousands of tulips, lilies, daffodils, and roses of all colors and varieties was one of my favorite parts of the first spring in my first house.
I saw this quote “when you see someone living out loud, all around the room, rules break. No one needs the permission, but they feel it-they can flourish too” I absolutely love what you have built for yourself all from a humble beginning. I’ve started 2 businesses now trying to figure it out, tomorrow a camera comes in so I can try another, UA-cam 🤗 Thank you for the inspiration and the hardwork that has now given me even more proof that it is possible. Just gotta find the right thing and it’ll all come together. ❤️
You are absolutely inspiring. I always look forward to your videos. I say to myself, "You know what, if she can do it, I can too. I don't have to be afraid to pick up a power tool. You did that, not just for me, but for so many others. So thank you.😊
Who knew a pool could be moody!?! Love you MaCenna!! Your tender heart, amazing work ethic, and impeccable style are everything. Thank you for being you. You are truly adored!!
MaCenna, I feel like we’re friends 😂 You’re really relatable and I appreciate your videos, you inspire me to let the creative process flow, and not get frustrated when a project takes on a life of its own. I tend to see things as tasks, where you see things as a journey and it’s lovely to reframe and find joy and beauty in the process instead of focusing on the outcome. I hope you have a great week, enjoy that rose garden 🌹
I enjoy watching the fun & luv you have with your mom dad romeo kinsley & your friends. You make my day Positive & energy to move forward. Thank you for being YOU. God bless you & your luving family.
The amount of consideration you have for your husband in order to clean before he comes back speaks volumes. Because I am an obsessive neat freak (with OCD) as well, and my husband is also a creative and things will be like this - not messy per say, just not in “their place” according to a neat freak’s perspective. Whenever he cleans before I return from a work trip, it’s one of the largest gestures that he can do because I know he had to think outside of “his space” and put in effort to make it look nicer for me when I come back. Just wanted to show some love/recognize you for the fact that you want him to feel comfortable in his space too, that’s a good partner. ❤️
When your video comes on, I tell family that I need to go watch my friend’s video, to not bother me. My kids say’ “ she is not your friend, mother!” Lol! Same with Drew. Been watching you both long before you two met. My friends!!! ❤
Thank you for showing your chaos. I really needed this because in ur videos just everything looks always so perfect. The way u work is just so relatable.
I just want to say that your videos bring me the literal peace that I need in my life right now. We lost our baby to miscarriage in January and have been having fertility issues the last few months. I’ve been a fan for years and watching your videos have been a constant reminder to make the best of this life we are given. We bought our first house last fall and you’ve given me inspiration to make our house into a home that is our safe haven. It has been such a healing for all the things I’ve been going through lately. Love you Macenna and thank you for everything you do 🥹💕
I've been watching you for so long, and I've seen you grow not only your renovation skills but your editing and video design/skills as well! Love all your videos, but the last one felt like an HGTV show! Can't wait to see what else you do!❤❤
Kinsley sightings… does it get any better than that?! ~So much love! Nature IS wild! Thank you for basking in it, celebrating it & taking us with you! Your joy is so contagious! Always, I am overwhelmed with the mere thought of how to possibly & adequately express my profound gratitude for you. I press the like button & usually don’t dare comment. Today, I read the comments & ‘liked’ several! It’s joy to see pieces of that which I’ve hoped would be conveyed to you (without my succeeding) finally being conveyed to you & beautifully so! (~Well said, all of you writers!) And, P.S. MaCenna, your laugh… it too,… is pure joy! ~Thinking Drew missed you at the Rose Bowl today!
I feel like a proud momma. You have accomplished so much and overcome many obstacles with a positive attitude. I wish you many blessings and continue success. We love you MaCenna.
My daughter told me about your channels about a month ago and I have gone back and watched so many of your videos. You are absolutely precious, a joy to watch and see your excitement in everything you do. 😘
One thing that i can swear i learn from Macenna is that your house is supposed to be the representation of you and like ourselves it's a constant development, learning and nourishing. We must learn to trust the process, value our choices and listen to our guts. Advance happy happy birthday 🎈🎂. Hope that you will have all the good things in life that will make you even more beautiful person. ❤
Macenna you are such an inspiration! I'll be 34 in August and I am in nursing school getting my 3rd degree which I will complete in August as well. I've had a rough few years with struggling to find a career that suits me, building a life with my husband, struggling to decide on having a family, just so many things. I think it's so beautiful that you are having a realization about how you've found yourself and your calling. I hope in a year, I will be able to feel those feelings you're having now. You bring so much calm, peace, joy, and beauty to us!
My kitchen faucet has been leaking, and I thought, I can replace this because MaCenna can, she showed us she can and that it's not out of reach. I'm so glad you're recognising your phenomenal accomplishments and personal development. Outstanding! Also, the adorableness of this video was off the charts ✨🌙✨
MaCenna in Wonderland!!! Whenever I'm in an especially beautiful garden I can't help but sing the song of the flowers from Alice In Wonderland. My brain just goes there every single time!!!
I love so much that you had to rush to tidy up before Romeo got home! Seeing your creative spaces and sink full of coffee cups is so real. To me, it means that maybe...just maybe...I can do what you do. You truly are an inspiration. 😘💕❤️
You’re such a sweet person, and I don’t think you’re really aware of how much joy and knowledge you bring to your viewers. I will drop whatever I can to watch your videos. I’m so happy that you and Romeo have this beautiful home to enjoy and 🤞grow a beautiful family.
just simply love you McKenna! Ive been loving seeing you transform the cottage over the past 2 yrs!. My husband & daughter are always like... are you watching McKenna again. hee hee. Love your positivity, creativity, engery and seeing how you transform & create beautiful spaces! you are so talented, great eye for detail, great style! Im so glad you have the CA house to transform as well! You are always pushing on towards the next thing, phase, growing, learning, building an empire.....its wonderful. Big hugs :)
it was honestly so refreshing for you to share your mess/clean up. You have such a beautiful life and I love that you give us glimpses into every part of it
I listened to your podcast and it made me cry because I was in the same situation and had no idea and now I’m so blessed of the woman I am now. Thank you for all you do.
I ended up in the hospital last week on suspicion of a stroke (it was a neurological reaction from the smoke coming from Canada (I’m near NYC). Spent 3 days in the hospital wondering what I was doing. How many things I had put off or not finished because of fear or whatever. And your video was everything to me. It really articulated how I was feeling and the actions I needed to take. Thank you for being our virtual internet friend. PS. I tried the Thrive salsa on your recommendation and holy mother of goodness it’s awesome!❤🎉
I loved your previous video because of the style of video it was. It was so calming and refreshing, which is what I needed because I’m going through a lot of change in my personal life and watching your video (well all of your videos) help me to unwind and relax. ❤
I love how much you love being in and caring for your home. It’s literally so sweet and charming and adorable! Also, I’m sure someone’s already commented, but Star Jasmine are AMAZING for trellises. You can prune them to keep them from getting too leggy, but my husband (the gardener in our relationship) planted about 12 in our yard to create a hedge and they will cover our entire fence (5’ tall) within the next few years with care and minimal maintenance.
I have watched the podcast and the entryway makeover and now this. ❤ You have every reason to feel all the feels! From this friend's (viewer/subscriber to all things MaCenna) point of view you are doing what you are meant to be doing. You've mentioned "romanticizing" your life and while a great way to put it, isn't that 'idyllic - happy - beautiful - enjoying all the moments' what we all strive for and is the actual goal!?! So Feel it! Love it LIVE it! Thank you for becoming a beautiful part of my life. XO to you too!
MaCenna, I just started watching your videos a couple of months ago and They are the #1 thing I look forward too. You are such an inspiration, creative and genuine person. I appreciate you!!!
I started watching you a year ago when my dad past away a video of you randomly pop up and you’ve been helping me to zone out from my thoughts for a bit watching you do “all the things” you do I wish I had the energy the visions you have to actually build a home my own liking. So thank you for that
I'm so proud of you MaCenna! Like seriously proud. I'll be 48 years old this year and I'm nowhere where I want to be in my life. You're so inspiring and such an amazing light. When the pandemic hit, like many I turned to creators online doing cool and creative things. I found you then and have watched "all the things" 😂 from your early stuff to your vlogs and the incredible work you've done in the cottage. I mean... WOW!!! I wish that I had a fraction of your drive, energy and zest to create, curate and produce beautiful artistry in every thing you do. You set yourself up for success and sweetie you've done such an amazing job. I feel like a proud big sister or something. 😊 A word you use often is progress. For years I've felt like a failure in life because of that failure to start mentality, like if I couldn't do something fully in my time and in my thought process why bother? Sadly that thinking and procrastinating on my own life only damaged myself. It's been a hard journey to find me again or maybe for the first time ever. So eventhough there was a time I went to school for interior design, and many years later got a degree in photography my creative spark diminished along the way. But I have to say thank you for your light. Thank you for sharing all these wonderful moments giving me encouragement and being the fun shopping buddy I wish I had. I'm a California girl born and raised, but live in the Midwest now. I'd love to have a home in both places too so I can totally relate to you in that too. It's a very special magical thing to be where you are at 35. It's a big deal. So feel all the feelings of your hard work and amazing support system. You deserve it all!!! XOXO much love! ❤
Oh MaCenna! I'm so proud & happy for you! I'm so glad you are taking time to smell the Rose's. They are a symbol of your accomplishments. I feel like you are nesting, for now,for the future. I'm not crying! You're crying. Love you & your family. Most especially Kingsley!
That’s really nice that everyone is leaving you messages that are so sweet, they bring you to tears of joy. You deserve that for all the fantastic work you do, and the content you create. 💗💗🌸🌸. The garden and pool are looking AMAZING!
I loved that you showed your real habitat . I work 9-5 and my house gets like that but clean on the weekend . Nice to see you normal and letting us know it’s okay
We love ordering groceries and everyday items from Thrive Market! You can sign up and order your first box today here thrivemarket.com/XoMacenna
It’s crazy to me that you didn’t realize how much you were doing when the rest of us were simply in awe ! Not only did you build a house, you simultaneously were sharing the entire journey and building up multiple businesses. It’s WILD ! the amount of time and mental and physical energy. I commend you!!❤
What you said!
Yes! Truly amazing!😊❤
@@sandygraetz5166 and it’s crazy bc I psych myself out trying to accomplish mundane tasks and we have macenna building walls !!
All the things!!!
Agree. I am truly amazed at how much MaCenna has done and keeps doing.
I'm so glad you're finally feeling as proud of yourself as we have always been of you. You have accomplished so much. You really deserve all the happiness in the world. We adore you, MaCenna 🪷
💯
This!! 💯🤌🏽🤌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽❤️❤️
👏
You really do!! I absolutely love watching your videos and all the inspiring things you do! Thank you 😊
Yes, you’re amazing!!!🎉
I grew up in a very dysfunctional home and I could watch your videos and think what a charm life you live. But instead I see a humble sweet girl who deserves everything good that could come her way.
Best wishes for a wonderful life moving forward. 😊
😭 I'm praying for you now. I pray that you have a better environment you are in now.
I second this, you can also pull off the 3 or so petals that are day old to make them look better.
It's not just the overwhelming amount of work you've done, it's the painstaking attention to every last detail. I'm in awe.
I did this the other day and they all died...😭 I actually got emotional that I killed all my Hydrangeas. Maybe I did it wrong though...
Only certain varieties of hydrangeas do the color change, forgot which ones 'cause I dislike that type. Love the oakleaf hydrangea, also the climber.
Using the appropriate hydrangea food will turn the flowers blue
@@Alexandra-jj2qh I think that acidic soil results in the purple, alkaline soil results in the pink blooms.
That's exactly what I thought! maybe she is 🙂
I was thinking her “emotions” are possibly hormones 🩷🩵🩷🩵
I was thinking that too !
😂 that’s what I thought..hope.
She is not? I thought she might be... ♡
As a fellow Cancer, I related to all of those emotions so much!
You are a decent, hard working, family oriented, animal lover, and disciplined young woman. You should be very proud of yourself because God has showered you with many gifts to share with others, and you. So, Praise God! Proud of you! 🥰
Why do you people need to insert religion into everything? It's so incredibly rude. Please leave people alone with your invisible man in the sky.
This is amazing!! All the best of luck with your future, you sound like such a caring person.
@@shegoesnorth9143 Thank you so much!!
@@genevievemurray7743 I remember her! She paid off like 27k I think within a year, such an inspiration. And of course, as a UA-cam kid, I feel so grateful for all females here who share the ups and downs of their journey to help others, definitely take some notes there :)
I'm 62 & u have inspired me to do things that ppl ur age do..lol..
U helped me believe in myself.
Thank you for being u. ❤
Star jasmine is great for trellises. They grow quick and need little care.
never feel you have to put vlogs out. take everything at your pace. we are happy to wait on you posting. never stress over being behind. take it easy.
There’s just something about getting your home together on a Sunday that is so deeply satisfying and peaceful. Best feeling ever…
Girl!! I am a 64 year old woman who has been watching you for years! I love your beautiful videos. They are inspiring to me and you are so sweet and dedicated. I think you are awesome!! Much luck and love to you and your family. Keep up the good work ❤love ya
Okay I just have to say I really appreciate the past couple videos because of how raw and real they are. I love how you showed us your messiness!
honestly so glad to see your house looking so relatable during big DIY projects! whenever I'm working on something its like a tornado has gone through the whole house.
I smile thinking of your Mom stepping back ready to step in and catch her baby girl if she falls to hard or too
fast. Watching your channel has been a lovely ride, thank you,
Crystal
Imagine buying a house that has been renovated/built by MaCenna. The dream!
omg I cant stop thinking that you keep mentioning that you guys wanna start a family soon and that the emotions are there!
I love how real you are showing us your “chaos” or mess during projects because that’s reality!
You're feeling like we feel seeing you making all this things and just wondering: HOW???? How much talent and creativity you have!
Thank you thank you thank you 🙏
Your words touched my soul!
Above your lemon by the pool is what looks to be a fruiting fig tree! So yummy! Yay for gardens!
Absolutely loved the last main channel video! The whole intro and your being is so inspiring!
MaCenna I love your home (both), but I can see myself living in your garden! I’m sooo in love with it all!
cleaning time immense is one of the funniest things I've ever heard thank you
You have done it McCenna, you set a plan for your life goals, worked hard and have accomplished so much. Your dreams are coming true💖💐
Aww🥹💖you’re such a creative lady! You have so many ppl who love you and loves so much what you do in all of your beautiful project! God bless you!
Thank you for sharing your garden with us and you’re home. Everything is beautiful.
You are absolutely inspiring. I always look forward to your videos. I say to myself, "You know what, if she can do it, I can too. I don't have to be afraid to pick up a power tool. You did that, not just for me, but for so many others. So thank you.😊
we love you and admire you macenna tears of happines for all that you accomplished be proud of yourself and romeo also kinsley
Who knew a pool could be moody!?! Love you MaCenna!! Your tender heart, amazing work ethic, and impeccable style are everything. Thank you for being you. You are truly adored!!
Well the point you care enough to pick up for his return, just shows how much you care for him. That's what makes you guys guys a good team.
The Jasmine plants attract an insaneee amount of bees so be care covering any room/shed you would go in and out of ❤️
When your video comes on, I tell family that I need to go watch my friend’s video, to not bother me. My kids say’ “ she is not your friend, mother!” Lol! Same with Drew. Been watching you both long before you two met. My friends!!! ❤
You have accomplished such a huge projects at both houses really. You should be extremely proud of yourself.
Praying for your health and happiness 🥰
Omg i hope you get better soon. When i heard about the smoke i knew people were going to experience some health problems 😢😢
@@brandyoctober5923 thank you so much! Yeah. It was so bad. I can’t even imagine what it’s like in Canada!
You have every reason to feel all the feels!
So
Feel it!
Love it
LIVE it!
Thank you for becoming a beautiful part of my life.
XO to you too!
MaCenna, I just started watching your videos a couple of months ago and They are the #1 thing I look forward too. You are such an inspiration, creative and genuine person. I appreciate you!!!
Star Jasmine would be perfect for the pool shed! It’s super easy to grow and makes beautiful displays for table settings.
