I just love how the rahkshi we get in sets is fear, poison, shattering, disintegration, hunger, anger, and heat vision, seriously how does it go from heavily symbolic to heat vision?
The original Rahkshi were meant to seek the mask of life and I assume attack the Toa in ways other than brute force - With the Bohrok already attempting that strategy. Given this situation, with it basically being all out war, it makes sense to favour a purely offensive ability, than those that are more psychological.
AlphaAsylum93 a mix of G1 and CCBS would probably solve all the problems people had with the stars. if i had the necessary parts. i would build and share.
"It...it's over" The end of an era. Eljay looks out his window. All was silent. As he gazed, bored, at what happened, the sky turned a dark gray. Then...the rain. It's been years. He's fought and fought hard. But...it's all for nought. Nothing there could work anymore. Nothing left to review-- *ding dong* Eljay walks to the door. As he opens, a man stands tall. Clean, crisp suit, a suave presence, odd shoes. The man grins, opening his briefcase held beside him. "Good day, Eljay. Show down?" Eljay tilts his head at the man. "Show...? Oh, Recap Reviews. Yeah, it's over." The man smiled, his mouth in a cruel grin. "Well, my dear sir, I have an idea for you..." He takes out a form from his briefcase, holding out the form. "I can help you review something else, bring you a recap review...for a price." Eljay nods. "What is it...?" The man's form flickers for a second. Horns for a second, a tail...then it faded. "There's a theme...old, ancient...you can do this...make it great." Eljay looks over the form, looking disgusted...then signs. "Fine. I'll do it...if it'll help me." The man smiles, closing the briefcase, passing a gratitude-filled statement, and returns to his car, limping. ... ... The man removes his shoes in the car, hooves showing. "He did it...Galidor..." He grins, looking over his form. "You know...I think I'll stick around, see how this goes." He knows it'll be a wild ride. Hopefully, a good one, too.
I cut the head off of the spine, and I really regret it, to be honest.. But this Rahkshi's rubbery head actually mimics the Rahkshi from the Mask of Light movie, as the head can fold inside-out, mimicing the movie Rahkshi's heads splitting open.
*+Keva the Half-Kestora* I did the same. I got Lerahk, Guurahk, and Kuurahk for a previous birthday, so I cut off the spine in between so they would fit better together.
The only real change I'd want is different weapon pieces and either the feet for Mata Nui used, ot the classic Rahkshi feet recoloured in Keetorange. As an alternate set in Keetorange, I'd likely go with Keetongu himself. Probably would use a Keetorange Stars torso piece, the same eyepiece, and a simple few pieces to make the back of the head. Plus the shield would go PERFECT with him!
See, I love the IDEA of the Bionicle Stars. The premise of ending the series by having an ultimate final battle between the villains and heroes of the bionicle universe is awesome, but the BUILD of them was lame. When your six main characters are less complex to build than Defilak and Dekar, you've made a mistake. Why not release remastered and updated versions of past characters, such as Tahu or Takanuva or a Rahkshi or some other classic Bionicle characters (NOT from the Glatorian era)?
At the same time, I do think including at least glatorian era set was smart since the story for it was supposed to be the battle for both Bara Magna and the MU.
This and Tahu were the best Stars. I personally love Stars Tahu, you can’t really complain about his articulation because it’s the same as the original, I just wish he had the original feet. I stuck some extra red original style feet on him and he was a near-perfect modern interpretation of the classic.
The funny thing is with these Recap Reviews is that you started them by doing the backwards order of how I got all of them. You started with Tahu (my last STARS set) and ended it with Rahkshi (my first STARS set) while every in between was backwards as well.
Actually half the old rahkshi have three spines, I don't however like that all three spines stand straight up instead of following the curve of the back, though that is just personal preference. Cons with the set in my opinion however are as follows: as you mentioned the attached head/spine really could have been two seperate parts, I would have prefered that, and it would free up some posability in the neck, but also, the claw feet... 4 of the stars sets came with awesome new feet molds, which actually remind me a bit of the old rahkshi feet on a smaller scale, I could much rather have had those without the claw feets brittle joints, as they just make more sense to me. Over all, he is a neat set, but they cut some corners for his design in my opinion. Also, the gold kal shield.. I would have loved to have got a red, (or better, orange) one with tahu in his off hand for it to have replaced, but now I'm just being greedy
I wish this set had a different staff. The Chronicler's Staff would go very well, or a new piece. Additionally, I feel like there were better foot options than the claws.
*GreninjaMan864* The Inika feet would've been MUCH too large for a set this size. Perhaps using the new foot introduced in the Stars line would've worked?
I know people don't like the stars but they hold a special place in my heart as collectables more so than sets. When I look at them I see the representation of some of my favorite wave sets of my favorite series of buildable heros and villains.
This Set was mäh. Its looks realy cool, also a brand new Rahkshi is a good thing but the Stab isnt new. He can have so much other Pieces, but he hade Guuraks. Also, the biggest Minus is, he dont have his Kraata. And, I dont know, I want this new Kraata. And the Golden Armorpart. All of the Armor, except for the Mask isnt soo well. Its 3 exakt same pieces, a Gahlok Kal armshield, a Toa Nuva Armorpiece and a Golden Hau. Rahkshis Part is one of the better pieces, but also not the revelation.
I honestly hated the fact that they molded the Rahkshi head and back pieces together for the STARS version of Rahkshi. Like, they couldn't just use the same old molds from the 2003 Rahkshi? That wouldn't have done the same job? They took the Rahkshi, made a new colored mold for the head and back-piece, and decided, "Nah, let's MOLD THEM TOGETHER" You could do so much more with the normal Rahkshi head in yellow and the normal Rahkshi back in yellow
Turahk, Rahkshi of Fear. Guurahk, Rahkshi of Disintegration. Lerahk, Rahkshi of Poison. Panrahk, Rahkshi of Fragmentation. Vorahk, Rahkshi of Hunger. Kurahk, Rahkshi of Anger... *...and [REDACTED], Rahkshi of Lazer-eyes*
Let's Play?! What do you mean? I put together Takurahk on the spot. I just figured by taking Ta- from things like Ta-Koro, Tahu, etc and putting it with a part of Akaku from Kanohi Akaku.
Please don't tell me after this you're doing the Hero Factory sets. Everyone hates the Hero Factory sets. People are gonna unsubscribe because of the Hero Factory sets. The videos are BARELY gonna get any views...
I'll be honest - Comments like these make me want to review Hero Factory. The more sheer ignorance and unusual paranoia regarding a theme which was just like any other theme bothers me. I have said several times in the past I won't be reviewing HF, but the more people say stuff like this, the more I feel like changing my mind. Hero Factory was just another theme. It had fans. It lasted longer than BIONICLE Gen 2. It did things right, it did things wrong. It didn't "kill" BIONICLE. Please stop.
*new Rahkshi falls over*
*Old Rahkshi falls over the same way*
Some things never change
"Like the courage and daring of true heroes"
So goes the saying: the more things change, the more they stay the same
I agree, I made a G2 rahkshi using pieces i have and it falls often too
3:03 "Hey, Panrahk, let's spontaneously fall backwards to annoy Eljay!" "Let's do it."
Eljay: "WHY DO RAHKSHI FALL!?" Panrahk: "cuz we do ;)"
I just love how the rahkshi we get in sets is fear, poison, shattering, disintegration, hunger, anger, and heat vision, seriously
how does it go from heavily symbolic to heat vision?
agetten so heat vision is not an element?
Lo Silopante not really what I meant...
I wouldn't call disintegration particularly symbolic either, but I agree.
Story wise I think Makuta would probably pick heat vision because Tahu. Set wise I don't know
The original Rahkshi were meant to seek the mask of life and I assume attack the Toa in ways other than brute force - With the Bohrok already attempting that strategy. Eljay, you forgot one more similarity between the two Rahkshi: They both like to fall over ;)
Horizon XD
Honestly, I'm really glad they finally decided to make a yellow Rahkshi, Stars or not. As far as the 2010 sets go, this might be one of my favorites.
It's over. You don't know what you have till it's gone. I'm going to miss it. Thank you for doing this
he is going to do other sets he didnt review from the 5th to the 13th
What sets?
+Umarak Conway Maybe combo sets.
ddi you not watch his updae video?
No, I'm not doing anything from the 5th to the 13th. Season 10 ends on the 5th, while the Finale comes out on the 13th. Did you watch my update video?
I've been wondering something: How would the stars line look using CCBS?
AlphaAsylum93 a mix of G1 and CCBS would probably solve all the problems people had with the stars. if i had the necessary parts. i would build and share.
AlphaAsylum93 CCBS didn't exist before the second wave of Hero Factory. He meant if the stars were made during the CCBS/Modern era.
Blightning McQueer no he means how would the stars sets look if you replaced their ball joints with ccbs pieces.
AlphaAsylum93 better
Better

I liked your story, but explain please
@@rodrigocoockiemonster4460Galidor is a failed Lego constraction line that came out around the same time as Bionicle. It's pretty cursed.
Idea: Eljay's revamp reviews. Eljay revamps old Bionicle sets to his liking and reviews it
You mean, Eljay fixing most/all the cons of the sets, and makes an overview of how he did it? I'd watch that.
+Cheatster9000x yeah
Eljay's:
Recap Reviews
Recent Reviews
Retired Reviews
Revamp Reviews
Well, unfortunately Eljay himself stated that he's not a MOCist...

I actually always thought this set Rahked
Blarp what?
Booooo
I think these sets are lame but they are Kind of adorable! We have small Piraka, small Rakshi, small Gresh, small Skrall, small Takanuva, small Tahu!
Imagine we had a Bohrok star but not using the Agori build, and it being the Keeorange colour
Actually half the old rahkshi have three spines, I don't however like that all three spines stand straight up instead of following the curve of the back, though that is just personal preference.

The fan name (as I, a noah productions fan, know it) is lolrahk
i freaking love those wooden pannels in the intro
This was one of my first bionicle sets and is very special to me
I wish this set had a different staff. The Chronicler's Staff would go very well, or a new piece. Additionally, I feel like there were better foot options than the claws.
they should've used the inika kongu feet in yellow

recap reviews go so quick im gonna miss them
the finale actual recap review's, I have no idea what comes next
In your final recap review, you could talk about your favourite set out of all Gen1. Mines Brutaka
Uber Garchomp It will deffinetly be Solek......
Roodaka's definitely on my list, maybe not at the top, but definitely in there. Mostly because she's the only female set that actually looks feminine.
Mine's Vezon.
I'm pretty sure eljay mentioned in the 2007 reviews that his favorite set is maxilos and spinax
mines kongu...kongu mahri...that is. (the answer is because kongu mahri looks cthulu-like
since the stars will be your last recap reviews you could release a tribute vid or something to all your recaps
Danielle Cross Yes he will make a video with all of the Bionicle G1 sets ever.
I have panrahk on my desk as I am typing this!
1:32 the names lolrahk ur welcome
Keerahk could be a fitting name for this particular Rahkshi since it's Keetongu orange.
7:30 I was just thinking that...
Arguably the best Stars set.
Sentence: DEATH (By Heat Vision)
You missed a new recolor. The Shadow Matoran feet.
6:47 *Talks about then open socket on its crotch*
"So, reproduction wise..."
there goes the last set, the last 1, there goes all the sets in g1, good review eljay, its not long now.
YOOOO this was my first bionicle figure... bruh I'm having mad nostalgia right now 😭🥺
Am I the only one who can't see orange on the heat vision rahkshi? Like come on that's yellow!
This Set was mäh. Its looks realy cool, also a brand new Rahkshi is a good thing but the Stab isnt new. He can have so much other Pieces, but he hade Guuraks. Like, they couldn't just use the same old molds from the 2003 Rahkshi? That wouldn't have done the same job?
They took the Rahkshi, made a new colored mold for the head and back-piece, and decided, "Nah, let's MOLD THEM TOGETHER"
You could do so much more with the normal Rahkshi head in yellow and the normal Rahkshi back in yellow
I think that If the green set were Zactan and "Piraka" was guurahk the final brown set could be Hewkii
*+Wolverine Fox* Ooh, that's a nice idea!
i wanted a Kraata in it XD -_-
Turahk, Rahkshi of Fear. Guurahk, Rahkshi of Disintegration. Lerahk, Rahkshi of Poison. Panrahk, Rahkshi of Fragmentation. Vorahk, Rahkshi of Hunger. Kurahk, Rahkshi of Anger...
*...and [REDACTED], Rahkshi of Lazer-eyes*
If your wondering the fan name is zirahk
Thanks
Another one is Lolrahk
I quite like the Rahkshi of Heat Vision.
What is the Fan Name
Ironically the set representing the first Constraction figures to have knees has no knees
Still looks more yellow than Keetorange on camera....I know it's Keetorange, but it looks yellow.
i Hope you would compare to Guurahk. its him my self-moc based on. + he is one of my 6 favorite rahkshes.
Yeah, but this was the "brown" set of the year, so it made more sence this way. The blue set role was already taken by the Piraka.
in my opinion, we should have gotten a bohrok instead of the heat vision rakshi
To be honest although I don't mind the bionicle Stars line the main bionicle set that I hate is the Rahkshi from bionicle stars.
are you doing "TVV podcast, err, TTV channel" on purpose, or is that an accident every time?
what's the fan name for rahkshi?
Don't think there is one. If you wanna combine Ta (fire) and some part of Akaku (x-ray vision) you can say Takurahk.
+Wyatt Takurahk actually feels like it fits right in. But where did you get Ta(for fire) and Akaku(x-ray vision) from?
Ta means fire. Akaku means X-Ray Vision. Heat Vision.
+Wyatt I know. But it means that where?
Let's Play?! What do you mean? I put together Takurahk on the spot. I just figured by taking Ta- from things like Ta-Koro, Tahu, etc and putting it with a part of Akaku from Kanohi Akaku.
It's a shame that they didn't bring back the old sets but with new pieces. That would have been amazing.
8 DOLLARS FOR A MCDONALDS TOY? GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK!
Both by lore and by how we were sold this set....
You can definitely tell how Teridax sorta just gave up on quality and went for mass production.
no its the end times
time to marathon recap review
[spoons rattling] Already doing it, and in the middle of 2007 right now.
Gonna find this on bricklink
Ahh... my first Bionicle set.
Autobot Streaker rip mine was either matoro Mahri or jaller mahri
Same here!
i think a piece of me just died
This was actually my first bionicle ever, kinda sad that I got in right at the end of the series
I always assume this was an iron tribe rakshi so I called it ihrahk
*+Paoto* I just looked on the Bionicle wiki, and a Rahkshi of Iron would've been likely called 'Ferahk'. That is a nice name though.
I understood that reference. (From the skit)
I'm too, bro)
Yellow rahksi is called lolrahk
i want that Set D:
now
eBay and Bricklink would be the best options at this point.
thanks :D
Man, I wanna see Tahu with all of the golden armor
ATAG Chozo he will in the over view
ATAG Chozo You'll see it in the overview
Gotta wait till the overview :/
Yeah, and I'll be kind of sad that it'll all be over. (Currently adding bricklink entries to my Christmas list)
The rahkshi's name is lolrahk
Her name is lolrahk
but a kraata is a brain...and without the brain, he'll be going insane!
The only good thing to come out to stars Rahkshi was Detox
Next Recap Review: Tahu master of FIRAAAAAH
He already done all the 2015 and 2016 sets in Recent Review.
You don't got the joke?
nope neither do i
I love the rahkshi sets. But this is more of a trophy set. Not much else like the other stars.
His name’s lolrahk because it’s its biocode
It's Lohrakk
pleas escape the hero factory sets, as much as the story sucked the sets where kinda cool with the ccbs that was new back then
Only good thing we got here was Detox and Lolrahk
first 2010 overview next g1 overview last g2 overwiev
It's simple it's weird I like it
Rip rahkshi
I think Rahkshi was one of the stronger stars sets (not saying much).
maybe we could call him hearahk?
Gold Rahkshi best waifu.
Nyaa!
you can actually take the sides of his face and flap them up
Honestly this guy is the worst set I own.
keet orange ;3
Lolrahk bro
Personally I think they should've made the stars the original,
Henrok is just a robotic poop
PLZ DO HERO FACTORY DONT LET RECAP DIE
Please don't tell me after this you're doing the Hero Factory sets. Everyone hates the Hero Factory sets. People are gonna unsubscribe because of the Hero Factory sets. The videos are BARELY gonna get any views...

TTV Eljay ...Yessir.
Keerahk would be a fitting name for this particular Rahkshi since it's Keetongu orange.
