Junior welterweight Batyrzhan Jukembayev will face Ivan Redkach on May 22 in the
main event of Wednesday Night Fights, exclusively broadcast on ProBox TV. The bout
is set to headline a night of 50-50 fights, beginning at 8 PM EST.
Jukembayev, who holds a record of 22-1 with 16 knockouts, is currently on a four-fight
win streak, with two of those victories secured on ProBox TV. Originally hailing from
Shu, Kazakhstan, Jukembayev aims to achieve the most significant win of his career in
this upcoming fight. His sole defeat came at the hands of IBF junior welterweight
champion Subriel Matias.
Redkach, possessing a 24-6-1 record with 19 knockouts, now resides in Los Angeles,
California, though he is originally from Ukraine. A seasoned veteran, Redkach returned
to the ring last July after a two-year hiatus. Having previously faced top-tier opponents
such as Regis Prograis and Danny Garcia without securing a victory, Redkach is
determined to alter his fortunes against Jukembayev.
The co-feature will spotlight a junior lightweight contest between Jonhatan Cardoso
(16-1, 15 KOs) of São Paulo, Brazil, and Adam ‘Blunose’ Lopez (17-5, 6 KOs) of
Glendale, California, set for ten rounds. This bout promises to be a thrilling encounter
between two highly skilled pugilists with the winner advancing in the division.
Additionally, junior welterweight Charles Harris (8-1, 7 KOs) will continue his comeback
journey against Kyle Erwin (7-1, 3 KOs) of Oceanside, California. Both fighters, with
similar records, are looking to solidify their positions in the division.
The event will open with cruiserweight Adrian Tillman making his professional debut
against undefeated Jayleen Bullock (1-0, 1 KO) of Wilson, North Carolina, in a
four-round contest.
Wednesday Night Fights will be available in both English and Spanish, featuring
commentary and analysis from former world champions Paulie Malignaggi, Chris Algieri,

There were some really, really good fights tonight! Thanks to ProBox for putting these on! Going to be keeping up with Harris. Cardoso vs Lopez was a great one! Juke vs Redkach was more of a showcase for Jukembyev. Redkach didnt look comfortable from round 1. And you guys said it, legs were gone from 1. No matter what level fighters are at, its always tough to watch an old fighter that just wont quit.

Another great card by the team at ProBox, just like boxing from the old days, no divas, no A-side/B-side crap, no huge favorite versus huge underdog, just great fights.
That second fight Cardoso vs Lopez was a banger, beautiful violence.
The hero had a great fight. Redkach, who was pulled by the old man, could not resist the adoration of the Kazakh. It was as if he had learned some of the techniques he had practiced with Crawford. Let the great boxer lead the way! As if the photo at the end of the fight was more than Redkach's action.

Harris Jr is very Shakur-esque, moreso than Crawford IMO. Although of course Crawford is the complete fighter they and many other aspiring champs would always want to become.

The main event fight really piss me off because I don't understand how the hell did the guy even get to the fight what did he do in training camp are you trying to tell me that this guy had a fantastic training camp and then all of a sudden came to the fight just turn 48 right there. Damn that redkash fight was sad to watch man… he literally posed -0% threat to his opponent from round one! Who tf told Ivan he was ready or rather what did pro box and his trainers see that said he deserves a shot to get back in the mix.
