The chrome hearts denim looking clean 🧼 |
Also in my opinion gallery dept is not really worth getting, the steep price point can be done for much less at your local tailors.

Day Jones Have some tips of what to tell to tailors if looking for a someone of the gallery dept look?

Tailors: print out reference photos, bring in two Levi’s, tell them measurements of yourself and how you would like it to fit, if your tailor is well equipped it can be done.

Just not a fan of paying for stuff like that you can have tailored, but great video bro keep up the good work!

      Thomas Nelson yeah frll,you think it’s called « 5001 ». Straight finessing 🤣

Alexandre 56k they say that they start with a 501 and make it slimmer but it looks like a regular 501 in the video. Definitely not worth the $400 price point

Finally found a video on this, to be honest I agree with what you say and everyone else in the comments because of the simple fact that adding material and flare to jeans is not anything new at all. It’s literally the oldest trick on the book lol but gallery dept got it for coming up with this I gotta give it to them . However price is really high like u mentioned for something you can either do yourself or go to a tailor. Im currently working on a pair myself as a test. Once i get it down im gonna make a better pair. A tip you gave me was that you mentioned they cut the jean to add the panel, a key part i missed which is why I think this pair im making now didn’t come out like theirs. Them cutting the jean is how they control the slight flare. They dont make full out bell bottoms, they’re controlling the flare making it “slight flare”

loved the video peeped the chrome jeans but honestly don’t think gallery dept is worth because you can literally go thrifting and find some vintage levi’s in the same condition etc.

“Poor people aren’t good with money and their environment prevents them from ever progressing.”
A poor person can learn to be good with money, and they can overcome obstacles in their environment. This isn’t a reason for why poor people shouldn’t work hard and smart....
“Nepotism took all the good jobs”
This just is completely false. There are so many jobs available to ANYONE, many you may not know exist.
“Other people have been failed by the system and were born in a palace where they could never flourish.”
It’s not the system’s fault that poverty exists, and people happen to be born in “places they could never flourish”. That’s life. And it’s the individual’s responsibility to make the necessary change in their life, and blaming the system does nothing for that cause. In fact, it makes it more difficult!
“You can’t just tell an immigrant to ‘work harder’, when there are external forces draining them like debt.”
I CAN tell anyone and everyone to work harder and smarter, especially the individuals who NEED to. “The facts of life”, like “working hard”, apply to EVERYONE. You can can sit here and make all the excuses, and scapegoats, you want but you probably won’t make more money that way....

Imo the price is not the feeling worth that you have while wearing and knowing that the jeans that you are wearing are actually from gallery department. They change not enough on the products to sell them for that much money. But thats just my oppinion.

I do not understand this style whatsoever. I understand buying vintage, but I don’t understand buying altered vintage. The products they source are seemingly ubiquitous and affordable enough to try and make these exact same pieces yourself for a fraction of the price. Just buying for the brand name, honestly.
