that is a good idea but it was not part of this removal video. it probably should have been in there but i did not think about it. theses chassis will self discharge after a few days anyway this includes the filter cap.
BUFFETT ARCADE MAN, How do you know if your arcade monitor had a BAD linearity coil? what does the Linearity coil do to the H&V deflection signals? or what is the purpose of the linearity coil?
they rarely fail unless they get broken intenaly or a leg pulls out. you will know right away when you see the image on the screen. it will be squished on the top or bottom real bad and there is no adjusting it on the G07. you can adjust the V-LIN on the G07 and that has an effect on the lineraty. just make sure there is no broken trace or pad before or after the coil that is making it seem bad.
@@buffett1978 thanks for the help, so 1.) the linearity coil is ONLY affecting the vertical height not the horizontal width? the vertical deflection pulse goes through the linearity coil? 2.) When adjusting the Horizontal Frequency trim pot is this adjusting the 15.975Khz above and below 15.97Khz? 3.) The horizontal Width Coil is adjusting the amplitude of the Horizontal deflection pulse so the horizontal width coil is adding "inductance" to the H yoke? 4.) Any reasons why the B+ voltage has to be set mostly to 115vdc to 125vdc if not the display picture will be scrambled and have sync locking issues? I don't understand why the B+ voltage has to be such a very high DC voltage for the monitor circuits to work correctly. 5.) When using a Tube Rejuenvator when the RGB colors are fading not bright in color. its applying a much "Higher" Voltage to the RGB guns to burn off the emissions to bring back the RGB colors?
thanks glad you liked it.

Thanks for this Buffett!
your very welcome.
