Good day, John. Thanks for the lesson. Just did this and it worked :) True, I have inaccuracies, but, all the same, it's good, I see it that way :) Thank you so much for all your lessons. I have already done a lot of them. Low bow to you. Be Healthy and Happy. Peace to your home. Health to all relatives, friends. YOU ARE MEGA TALENT AND AN EXCELLENT TEACHER. HOW GOOD THAT WE HAVE YOU.
Hey thanks so much for your help man. I did my first spray paint piece and posted it on my channel. I was watching your videos and Skech Art videos. I was looking at this video to see how you do the galaxy part. Like the part that’s in between the planets. I see that you just kind of switch the cans back-and-forth and do a misty effect.
Hi Son, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave these kind words, the comment, and the feedback I really do appreciate it :) Cool, Did you enjoy painting it? Yes i just go back and forth with the colours i'm using till i like it :)
@@JonBarberArt I have just discovered you John. Australia Day 2024. This is the second clip that I've watched and bookmarked. Thanks for sharing your skills. I look forward to creating something like you achieve myself one day soon. Might I ask where you are from please? I can pick the general area. I@m from Stockport Cheshire. Sorry i couldn't be more helpful
Hi Jon I all ways watch your inspiration tutorials ( your da man) to watch….have you in the very near future any plans to have day classes to teach on a one to one basis your technique on spray art? I for one would love to learn this (and pay) …since watching you I must have over 100 canvases…..and still haven’t got it has near or has good has you….but I do get a lot of enjoyment from watching and trying out the different methods you use….only problem I have is…I like my own work and I started to put on my wall in the office which now has over 50 …on and…I’m getting a ear bashing from my wife ( not more) lol…well…I like them..keep up the great work and please let me know of any developments on any future classes you might be starting up….KR Dave…

Hi Jon! Wow! Awesome work! I started watching because I really found the videos fun and kind of soothing to watch but I ended up buying some paint and following some of your other videos. I have never ever been interested in art so I can't say why I am drawn to this but it has been a lot of fun so far. I love how at the end of this one you kind of messed that last star up but did an excellent job just doing it over. Very cool. Looks like you have a lot of fun. Keep it up! Cheers from Oregon, USA
Hi Eric, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave these kind words, the comment, and the feedback, I really appreciate it :) Yes it's a fun way to paint and i really enjoy doing it :) How did you find painting with spray paint? Yes i did the star and just didn't like it so went over it, that's the good thing with spray paint you can cover things back over pretty quickly :)
@@JonBarberArt Hi Jon! I always wondered how Banksy did his stuff and then learned that there are other forms of spray paint art. I searched youtube a bit and you came up a few times so I started watching. Then I saw the tutorials and started buying paint and paper and following along. I have had a lot of fun watching and painting.
Hi Shade, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment, feedback, and question, I really appreciate it :) It's also nice to hear that my videos are helping you learn :) The Plastic sheet I use is part of a large bag that I cut up so it's easier to use, I got them from a place I use to work, they were throwing lots of them in a skip, so I took them, I don't know anything about them or where I would get any more from, all I know is they are a large plastic bag, sorry I couldn't be more helpful
Hi Jon, love your art. I started doing this and I am on my 3rd piece. I am having issues with the stars melting into the background of the black. I figured out I'm using satin black, and everything else is gloss. Do you think it matters? Do you prefer your paints to be gloss? I also have an issue with my bag/paper not picking up paint the way yours does, so the texture is sort of messy/droopy? If that makes sense... I will say that my temps aren't very high here currently. It was about 50 degrees Fahrenheit today. so I figured I'd try. A little cooler in my garage though, but had the door open. Keep the vids coming! I love them! Thanks for showing us this! I would have never have thought to use spray paints to make planet art.
Hi Vesna, Sorry for the late response, Thank you very much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment, feedback and the questions, I really appreciate it :) Satin spray paint is not that good for spray paint art, can take a while to dry, I wouldn't use satin paints to be honest. The reason why your stars melt into the black is because the black is still very wet and there is too much paint down, which will then soak the white stars up, I paint with gloss and semi-gloss paint and find they work great :) If the bag/paper is not picking the paint up right and is turning messy when you lift it off it could be you have put too much paint down in the area you are making the texture so when you go to make the texture the paint has already started mixing so when you place the materiel on and pull it off it's all mix and looks messy, try using less paint, this way there's less chance of the paint mixing :) 50 degrees Fahrenheit can be a little cold but you can spray in that, it's about that or a lot lower for months in the UK, but i still paint in it :) hope the answers help you, Yes painting with spray paint is a fun way to paint :) It's also nice to hear that you love the videos :)
