For one off brilliant shots, 2 honourable mentions should come from the 2019 world final - both in unsuccessful 147 attempts... The double on the last red from John Higgins plus the red from Judd Trump into the green pocket cannoning the red off the side cushion and getting position on the black.
Agreed they were great shots but not so special as they didn’t achieve the 147. There was a similar doubled last red yesterday by David Gilbert. He got 15 reds, 15 blacks and missed a tough yellow.
I was there at The Crucible when Mark Williams got that crazy cannon, it was something like only the 4th shot of the evening session, and the crowd erupted like it was a pot to win the title. Great night!
Alex Higgins vs Doug Mountjoy WSC 1982, cue ball against the brown, plays the blue into the middle with a ton of left hand side on the cue ball, off the baulk cushion to move the safe pink off the side cushion over the middle pocket, greatest shot I've ever seen. And the green to win the match in the deciding frame at 12-12 is a very close second. That was Alex's year, a very special player.
Just subbed you. This is just how compilations should be put together. Nice one 👍 ps. I get a kick every time I see Ronnie's face after Shaun's incredible shot 🤣🤣🤣

Couple of shots by Ronnie against Bingham in 2016 masters, long red from black cushion, deep screw black into the middle from the baulk line. Shot in final against Hawkins, O'Sullivan played a red along the cushion at pace. John Higgins double in the 2019 world final in his max attempt. Good selection
