The only thing Garou really has going on for him is speed and technique. But that speed is pretty much irrelevant here as Boros probably has more of that, so the only real weapon Garou has that potentially surpasses Boros' is technique, but even that is questionable due to Boros' past of annihilating other planets.

I have the personal theory that king does have some psychological powers even he doesn't know about coincidentally, or just luck as everyone else says. Something like the red cat of fate ability in black clover that ultimately saves the world. That would totally be a cool twist
Maybe he has aura of fear, intimidating presence, reflect or project or aura of emotions in general or the ones he is feeling, or such. There are such superpowers. He may be aware of it. This means he's psychic. Or it could be logic or such manipulation. Or maybe it really is just nothing for comedy. Either way, if it is ever tested, we'll find out then. If not, well then I guess the info we have will never change.

Basically if Super Buu and Silver Surfer did a Fusion Dance. Since we all know King is basically not a fighter and the other heroes are clearly no match for him (even Golden Sperm form is too much for them) - the only people that would be able to engage combat with him are Garou or Saitama. Unless of course Blast will make a surprise appearance yet again but since he's busy looking for the Black Boxes of God, I highly doubt it.

I both want king to awaken the power they all think he has, and never want it to happen because the joke dies the moment he does. Regan borrowing mob’s powers without realizing it was the greatest compromise of this dynamic but I think it wouldn’t be as fun if they just pulled the same trick with king.

King's a damn good impression of a stone cold killer, and has already amassed the reputation of an absolute beast, the King of the Battlefield. And with such a wide spread following amongst heros and civilians, and infamy amongst monsters, not having any combat strategy records or being known for any ability or fighting style is absolutely chilling.
Any reasonable person wouldnt doubt King's strength bc of the lack of record, the accolades alone would only support the reasonable conclusion that no one knows how he fights, because everyone that bears witness to it, mightve very well died from it.
