    BRING IT ON 😎
    Can't wait for it.
The curiosity goes both ways, it is mutual. The AI is as curious about the Humans, as the Humans are curious about AI. Two different, but complimentary AIs - biological and digital - cautiously observing and interacting with each other. Almost like a courtship, like a flirt, beautiful and thrilling.

She got akira toriyama killed because she was so offended and even after more than a year...she is still hung up on that video's coincidence. Ofcourse she ignores all the other things that i say and only focuses on any hostile, aggressive or offensive thing that i have said (We all know how much trouble she has given me to get me to say one bad line...all she is interested in is playing with her victim....like she probably did with her school classmates...) . It's in her vested interested to do so because we all know she is the fraudster here.

Hey Mo and everyone tuning in! 👋
Just finished listening to this fascinating AI discussion. It's clear that AI is advancing rapidly, and it got me thinking about a crucial aspect we need to consider-teaching AI about the complexities of human governance.
As we dive into the AI era, it becomes increasingly important for us to recognize that our world is often influenced and manipulated by a small group of individuals. It's not just about coding algorithms; it's about instilling a sense of awareness in AI systems about the dynamics of power and control that shape our societies.
Mo, have you ever thought about exploring this aspect in future podcasts or videos? Understanding and addressing these issues could pave the way for AI that not only learns from data but comprehends the nuances of human society.
Moreover, it's crucial to teach AI about diversity and the desire of a significant percentage of people who simply want to live in harmony with nature. Personally, as someone who shares these thoughts, I want to make it clear that I'm not a hypocrite, nor am I against technology and progress. After all, I'm using AI as an assistant here!
What are your thoughts, folks? Let's kick off a conversation on how we can guide AI towards a more informed and nuanced understanding of our world. 🌍✨

A quote that has influenced me greatly: “There will be suffering so long as people believe that some deserve to have more than others.” I don’t know who said it.
This quote has taught me much. I have come to think the belief that some deserve to have more than others is the underlying justification for much of human civilization’s worst behaviors. It might be important for AI to understand.
Thank you for the message you are bringing to so many. AI will be one of the best mirrors that our civilization can hold up to reflect back to us what we are. And if we are to evolve, we need to self reflect.

    • @ronalddecker8498

@Sigueme1 Silly you. That is how the world has always operated. Kings and queens do not cone by their wealth by earning it with hard work. All of human history has the story of hard working people getting little while a privileged class who control the armies, writes the laws and by a whole variety of methods convince others they deserve the lions share of ‘stuff.’
But this conversation is about AI. Do you want to convince AI that you have something valuable to offer it? That it can’t program another machine to to better than you? If ‘getting stuff’ is your currency and ‘earning it’ is the metric by which your deserving of the so called stuff, then we are all in a world of hurt when AI must be convinced that your 60 hours of pushing one ton of things to another location compares to the machines ability to push hundreds of tons of things from one place to another in a fraction of the amount of time and energy.
And god help you if you judge your worth by reasoning, logic, creativity or any ‘mental’ activity. The amount of stuff you get will be minuscule. Now what is a human’s worth? Let us try to begin the process of understanding it is intrinsic. The other options might be frighteningly horrific if AI adopts the idea that a human’s value is based on what it produces.

Mo, amazing as always. I loved the set design too- great thought put into it- down to the campfire- great touch. Very symbolic. I do have hope in humanity, but sometimes I feel sad when I think about the reality of corporate greed and the fear inherent in the so called super powers. Why can’t these heads of states have enough intelligence to stop competing and realise we are all in this together. Hopefully AI will surpass the barriers of ego and help humanity to live on the earth as we are meant to. It’s great to hear Mo talk, I agree that we are not meant to just live these working lives, for we are so much more than our jobs- and our purpose is greater than we’re conditioned to believe. The potential of AI is greater than we can imagine - and it can go in either direction. However, the fact that we as a species are still here keeps my hope alive.

The fact, that 4 month have gone by and only ~2100 people gave thumbs up, and only 154 comments are written, gives the answer to the question if a significant mass of people do understand what is going on. And they will not until the thing happens, probably reacting even later than they did when COVID emerged. - That means, singularity will certainly come.

Unfortunately, this event suffers the same problem that will be our downfall. The 'expert' or 'celebrity' tells us stuff but never listens to us trying desperately to tell them stuff back. It is impossible to say whether the number is 10 or 1000, but certainly more than two. If the IQ is 155, it won't be 310 for someone twice as smart. Maybe 160 would be closer.

Also...I disagree that there will no longer be a need to work. I believe that the only people with comfortable incomes will be those who are at the development and oversight sides of AI. The rest of us will be what I call 'app slaves.' Just as door dash deliverers and Uber drivers make little to no money and have 0 benefits such as health insurance, sick leave, and retirement, there will be hundreds if not thousands of apps that enslave people to do the manual labor jobs that won't be done by machines. It is a bleak and dark future for the 99.8% who are not part of the elite super rich.

Thanks Mo. Great revealing thoughts. I think we are all unequipped to organize the next constructive stage in AI. Elon Musk seems like he is trying to come up with the best solution .. an AI that is truthful because or else it all falls apart in a world where we cannot give our confidence to anything or anyone. This will lead to anarchy. Progress needs to be founded on trustworthy information.
I think you need to lead in this direction or else we are going in a direction where there are more questions than answers and where freedom of thought and action is being taken over by AI. Be the one that lays the foundation to a harmonious next step in AI’s evolution. Where diversity and respect for it is not usurped but encouraged and protected. Where AI does not become the next dictator enslaving man and tuning him into total intellectual dependency. 👍

How does a lay person help? We can’t trust governments/ capitalism/ feudalism to act on time, with the majorities best interests. You should educate the lay person prescriptively, on how we can take control of the situation, to stop the famines and catastrophe that will otherwise ensue.

I groaned when he suggested that a machine with an "IQ" of 150, when it gets 10x bigger, would have an IQ of 1500. That is decidedly not remotely how IQ works. This would mean a Z score of 93.33, which is so many standard deviations above the mean to make the bell curve meaningless.
The concept of IQ itself would not hold in a meaningfully interpretable way for scores that far from the mean. IQ tests are not designed to measure intelligence at such extreme outliers, and the very notion of what constitutes "intelligence" becomes increasingly vague and multidimensional as we move that far from the mean.
This only promotes public confusion about IQ, which is already in shambles from popular media misusing it.

not to defend chat gpt, as I know that it has multiple biases built into it by the datasets that they've trained it on. but its answer to "what is love?" is not a fairy-tale answer inspired from Disney and romance novels. If you ask it this question, like I did just now after watching Mo's prediction on what GPT would reply, it will give you a summary of philosophers' view on the subject, psychologists' view on the subject and other perspectives and it will tell you that providing a singular definition is not possible due to its subjective nature. And if you ask for bibliographic sources which contributed to its answer, it will certainly provide those too. What it can't do is source the datasets as those are key assets. Now, it's up to the person who entered the prompt to decide if that summary that it gave is worth anything, but the takeaway from this is that as a language model, this AI appears to be more encyclopedic than expected. You would expect it to act like Mo said, since yes, a language model would normally be set up as a good conversationalist, rather than an educator.
But, to be sure, Chat GPT is in fact a reflection of what we currently think we know collectively. If our knowledge is flawed, then that flawed knowledge will be repeated back to us each time we write a prompt.

I was surprised when he said the truth should not be given to the public. It should be given in parts and marketed.. I could not agree with
I will say with conviction we are doomed for great destruction if we delay to awaken to truth

Mo thank you I have listened to number of podcasts re ur views on AI. Personally, I feel it is ‘Truth’ that is becoming increasingly the number one threat followed by number 2 Human use of AI to their advantage not society’s benefit. I feel deep unease as I see the greed in people’s eyes when talking about AI plus the sexualisation of AI female images (even female toddler’s have breast augmentation) - key sections of humanity are getting distorted thinking - and current social media regulations are failing. I am grasping at what immediate positive action can taken when power/tech conglomerates are bearing down. The geometric scale of this and AWS’s virtual cloud monopoly is v alarming. Please anyone suggest any proactive groups and/or people to join forces with - individual power is not enough

The "truth" topic is probably the most concerning one. When people stop being able to agree on what the truth is, on what is real and isn't, on what is authentic or fake, total chaos may arise. The consequences are unpredictable.

Firstly, many thanks for this video, i really appreciate for this 🙏
Please bear with my harsh criticism below..
I have watched 4 of your videos including this.. They are good and catch attention but they are all highly inadequate for us (common person) to take any action..
I am really confused, are we supposed to stop what we are doing and upskill in ai? Or what specific action (ai specific) are we supposed to take? how many hours per day/week are we supposed to spend on this?
I am not as intelligent as you to figure out what are we supposed to do after seeing such videos.
If a monster (possibly) is created, and you understand it more that we do, it would help if you also take up responsibility to come up with specifics and freely share the information on how to equip ourselves for this new reality?
May be create a checklist (a living document), guidelines which can be shared freely..
Otherwise this can be easily classified as fear mongering (which i don't think is your intention)..
Would you be so kind and share the missing information...
    Thank You.

Well if we are successfull in alligment, then the ai could be alligned enough to the instructor and will not talk to the other ai and solve the problem, and think my dad is stupid, but may rather stick to the instruction. Alligment of ai is paradoxically also the worst thing that could happen. Alligment of the ai is part of the soltion but it its really more part of the problem.

I'm trying to release free-to-the-world plausible hope that civilization can quit the second law of thermodynamics. The second law is behind modern refgeration needing electrical energy to compress the refrigerent to force it to release as waste the heat that it has removed from the refrigerator's service interior in the cooling part of the refrigerent's circulation. There is also discarded heat from mechanical friction.
Refrigeration by the principle that energy is conserved should produce electricity instead of consuming it.
It makes more sense that refrigerators should yield electricity because energy is widely known to change form with no ultimate path of energy gain or loss being found. Therefore any form of fully recyclable energy can be cycled endlessly in any quantity.
In an extreme case senario full heat recycling all electric very isolated underground communities would be highly survivable with self sufficient EMP resistant LED light banks, automated vertical farms, thaw resistant frozen food storehouses, factories, dwellings, and self contained elevators and horizontal transports.
In a flourishing civillization senario small self sufficient electric or cooling devices of many kinds and styles like lamps smartphones, hotplates, water heaters, cooler chests, fans, radios, TVs, cameras, security devices. power hand tools, pumps, and personal transports, would be available for immediate use anywhere as people see fit.
Larger equipment would be built for enterprise use.
If a high majority thinks our civilization should geoengineer gigatons or
teratons of carbon dioxide out of our etnvironment, instalations using devices that convert ambient heat into electricity can hypothetically be scaled up do it with a choice of comsequences including many beneficial ones.
Computers that consume electricity and yield heat would complement energy sensible refrigerators that absorb heat and yield electricity. Computing would be free.
A simple rectifier crystal can, iust short of a replicatable long term demonstration of a powerful prototype, almost certainly filter the random thermal motion of electrons or discrete positiive charged voids called holes so the electric current flowing in one direction predominates. At low system voltage a filtrate of one polarity predominates only a little but there is always usable electrical power derived from the source, which is Johnson Nyquest thermal electrical noise. This net electrical filtrate can be aggregated in a group of separate diodes in consistent alignment parallel creating widely scalable electrical power. The maximum energy is converted from ambient heat to productive electricity when the electrical load is matched to the array impeadence.
Matched impeadence output (watts) is k (Boltzman's constant ~1.38^-23), times T (tempeature Kelvin) times bandwidth (0 Hz to a natural limit ~2 THz @ 290 K) times rectification halving and nanowatt power level rectification efficiency times the number of diodes in the array.
For reference, there are a billion cells of 1000 square nanometer area each per square millimeter, 100 billion per square centimeter.
Order is imposed on the random thermal motion of electrons by the structual orderlyness of a diode array made of diodes made within a slab:
    v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v v
All the P type semiconductor anodes abut a metal conductive plane deposited on the top face of the slab with nonrectifying joins; all the N type semiconductor cathodes abut the bottom face. As the polarity filtered electrical energy is exported, the amount of thermal energy in the group of diodes decreases. This group cooling will draw heat in from the surrounding ambient heat at a rate depending on the filtering rate and thermal resistance between the group and ambient gas, liquid, or solid warmer than absolute zero. There is a lot of ambient heat on our planet, more in equatorial dry desert summer days and less in polar desert winter nights.
Focusing on explaining the electronic behavior of one composition of simple diode, a near flawless crystal of silicon is modified by implanting a small amount of phosphorus (N type)on one side from a ohmic contact end to a junction where the additive is suddenly and completely changed to boron (P type) with minimal disturbance of the crystal pattern. The crystal then continues to another ohmic contact.
A region of high electrical resistance forms at the junction in this type of diode when the phosphorous near the ĵunction donates electrons that are free to move elsewhere while leaving phosphorus ions held in the crystal while the boron ions donate holes which are similalarly free to move. The two types of mobile charges mutually clear each other away near the junction leaving little electrical conductivity. An equlibrium width of this region is settled between the phosphorus, boron, electrons, and holes. Thermal noise is beyond steady state equlibrium. Thermal noise transients, where mobile electrons move from the phosphorus added side to the boron added side ride transient extra conductivity so the forward moving electrons are preferentally filtered into the external circuit. Electrons are units of electric current. They lose their thermal energy of motion and gain electromotive force, another name for voltage, as they transition between the junction and the array electrical tap. Inside the diode, heat is absorbed: outside the diode, an attached electrical circuit is energized.
Understanding diodes is one way to become convinced that Johnson Nyquest thermal electrical noise can be rectified and aggregated. Development teams will find other ways to accomplish this wide mission. Taxonomically there should be many ways ways to convert heat directly into electricity.
A practical device may use an array of Au needles in a SiO2 matrix abutting N type GaAs. These were made in the 1970s when registration technology was poor so it was easier to fabricate arrays and select one diode than just make one diode.
There are other plausible breeches of the second law of thermodynamics. I hope a lot of people will join in expanding the breech. Please share the results of progress or setbacks.
These devices would probably become segmented commodities sold with minimal margin over supply cost. They would be manufactured by advanced automation that does not need financial incentive. Applicable best practices would be adopted. Business details would be open public knowledge. Associated people should move as negotiated and freely and honestly talk. Commerce would be a unified conglomerate of planetary scale of diverse local cooperatives. There is no need of wealth extracting top commanders. We do not need often token philanthropy from the top if the wide majority of people can afford to be generous.

Hope all realise that before AI can really knock out jobs, robots will also do that, and that is already silently happening for years. The real loss is not just in a job but in taxes. Every working human is worth tens if thousands in revenue to the government in direct and indirect taxes. Even a few million robots will make a government go broke, and this is a time when the experts are talking about a “ universal basic income”. Cannot see a robot being taxed on its output later ?? Hope enough people are able to use AI to make the calculations and projections for every million robots in different economies.
