Gabi is so real and I love her pure honest reaction to the music from Chris Cornell to Layne Staley two of the best that we lost her gut reaction is beautiful
I was crushed when he died. He was very open about his struggle with depression and substance abuse and so I feared for years we'd lose Chris like we did Kurt and so many others. But then he married Vicki, got sober, started focusing on his family, being dad, and then of course his music again.. You know really finding some peace. My buddy's wife's brother signed on with his family's security detail back in 2012 or 2013. So I'd get the occasion tidbit of inside information about stuff. He was open about himself but was really private about his family. Anyway, after hearing these things I stopped worrying about him. Started thinking he would be OK. And then we lose him! Dammit dammit DAMMIT! Then I heard a few things about how devastated his wife and especially his kids were. You know truthfully I don't think I'm really over it. Or maybe it's Chris's death coupled with the loss of so many--the overall body count. Is it just me or has anyone else counted the number of extraordinarily talented musicians we've lost so very young in the last 20 or 25 years? If you decide to do so it's going to add up to a lot more than your thinking right now, trust me. It's truly astonishing. 😪
The Moore is in Seattle where a lot of these guys played back then when they were starting out or just playing locally. This singer here chris Cornell and Jerry Cantrell from Alice In Chains were roommates at one time :) He’s gone also
Check out Sober by Tool live 1993. It is commonly reviewed but having watched all your reactions, it's clear you appreciate passionate singers and like deep lyrics. Maynard Keenes has one of the most powerful voices around and the song's message is remarkable. I've seen Tool live 3 times and he puts everything he has into every song. I still marvel that such a powerful voice comes from such a small dude
You should react to more Chris Cornell. Start an underrated Temple of the Dog track, "All Night Thing". Then check out Chris covering " Nothing Compares to You". And another lesser reacted to track of Chris', "Seasons". BEAUTIFUL songs, just like the beautiful person you are.
I don't know if you know it but sadly Chris committed suicide by hanging on May 18th 2017 :( he was really one of BEST vocalists EVER!! Please if you can react to Like a Stone by Audioslave one of Chris' bands, the lyrica are sad considering what happened but the song is amazing!! ❤ RIP Chris 💔
Chris Cornell lead singer of Soundgarden, Audioslave, and Temple of the Dog. Layne Staley lead singer of Alice in Chains and Mad Season. Kurt Cobain lead singer of Nirvana. Scott Weiland lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots, and Velvet Revolver. Mike Starr bassist of Alice in Chains. Chester Bennington lead singer of Linking Park. Andrew Wood lead singer of Mother Love Bone. Shannon Hoon lead singer of Bind Melon. Doug Hopkins lead singer of The Gin Blossoms, Bradley Newell lead singer of Sublime, and Tom Petty. All lost to drugs alcohol and suicide. We have lost so many, and sadly will probably lose Moore all we can do is appreciate the beautiful music they left behind.
@@GABIReacts WOW I am impressed by you. I didn't expect anything I just wanted people who read this to know the emence talent that has been lost in such a short time.
@@litawells8803 I haven’t lied I got one done but I had surgery and I’ve not been able to edit or anything, it is coming I promise just give me a few days I’m trying to recover I’m really excited about it tho It’s Mad Season River of Deceit!!
@@GABIReacts I hope your recovery is fast and stress free, no pressure here, your health and state of mind is far more important then any musical reaction. I watched your reaction to Temple of the Dog again, because your joy makes me smile. I noticed you mentioned a few other artists that you like, and they are all from Seattle. I live in Seattle, and I was there from the very beginning of what was 1990s also called the grunge era.Chris Cornell, Layne Staley, Jerry Cantrell, Eddie Vedder, Kurt Cobaine, Kevin Martin, Andrew Wood, Mark Lanegan, Mark Arm, Dave Grohl, and Christopher Ballet, are all lead singers of bands that are from Seattle, and some of them may not be well known outside this city, they are loved, and remembered here. Some of them have passed away, some are no longer bands, and some still exists, and still perform. If you would like more information on these amazing artists just give me a heads up.
OMG that's fantastic to know. I'm even more excited now. We will definitely discuss these Amazing people. I want to know all I can about Layne since he's the one I've been focused on more as of now. Plus I am going to do more of Temple of the Dog.
Your face says it all. Please check out the lyric video. Also MTV Unplugged Nirvana -Where Did You Sleep Last Night, Soundgarden-Fell On Black Days and Pearl Jam- Black and Disarm by The Smashing Pumpkins. Great vocals!

One of the greatest voices of the 20th and 21st century 💯
I’m 52 & have been a music lover for as long as I have memories & Chris Cornell is the most amazing singer I’ve ever heard
This song was written in memory of Andrew Wood of Mother Live Bone who died of a heroin overdose in 1990. He was his roommate and good friend.
Lovely lady with a heart as huge as the universe and a great ear for music that matters.. xo

It's a damn shame Chris isn't around anymore. This song was written by Chris Cornell for Andrew Wood. His best friend that died early in his career.
Yup mudhoney

Sadly that was what they want us to believe about Chris's death but I reckon there's a lot more to it. What a sad loss, such a great musician.
😍 Ooohhh Chris Cornell 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Also One More Light and Crawling (both live) by Linkin Park
