I saw Di Stefano circa 1962 at Carnegie Hall. As described by Corelli, his voice was round rich and beautiful. Much the same as he was on records except for the beautiful overtones in the theater. Unfortuanely, we will never see or hear anything like him again. R.I.P.

Each of his versions you can find on UA-cam beats the others hands down. Even better than Enrico Caruso which is amazing when you keep in mind that "Core 'ngrato" was written for him.
