I laughed so hard when Julie was describing her Pat Rogers Alphabet piece and she mentioned watching the OJ Simpson car chase while working on it. And that Red Deer sampler. ~gasp~ It's on my bucket list, but I think I need to move it up the list. Jane, your Hardanger is exquisite. I've always wanted to try doing it. What's another hobby, right?

Congratulations on 1000 subscribers! I enjoy your visits. I think you stitch what you want when you want and how you want. In fact, I think "there are no rules" is a rule. So use pink floss instead of green if you want. And there are two ladies, Roberta and Linnie, who do a Flosstube - they are the SABLE stitchers. Isn't that a great acronym? Keep up the good work!

Warning: Long comment - you may want to get "Julie's Guy" to read the comment so you can continue your stitching.
First off, I feel so gypped! Who knew that "running with scissors" was so much fun! Why would they ever tell us not to? I just completed binge-watching all of your videos. What a delightful journey. Both of you are incredibly talented. I have "gasped" several times as you showed your beautiful pieces. I am thrilled when you show your Hardanger embroidery and I looking forward to your videos on the art.
Around mid-way into your second video, I started to search for moving companies and started mentally making my list of things I needed to do before moving in with one of you. I was certain you won't mind me and my four dogs coming to stay. My heart sank when you mentioned you lived in MN. I escaped from the midwest 9 years ago and returning to the cold is not an option. You will be pleased though. I have started my search for homes for you both in my development here in FL. I will send you the listings when they are posted so you can move and be my neighbor. Stitching by the pool sounds fun, doesn't it?
Your videos are delightful because of your incredible talent, your creativity, and the special friendship you both share. It is a pleasure to be able to get to enjoy it for an hour or so every couple of weeks. Thank you for sharing with us. You bring joy and laughter! That being said, my heart did break during episode 7. It was clear the "spark of light" was dimmed in that video. You both handled it well and rebounded beautifully with episode 8. I love the powerful message you shared at the end. Well done! I am sorry for your recent loss and for the challenges that have been part of your recent experiences.
There are many "floss tubers" but you bring something very special to the genre. Your ability to relax, let go of the "lists" and outlines, and just be "you" allows us to feel like WE are sitting in the same room with you, chattering on about the hobby we all love. Thank you for that - it is a gift. You are appreciated and I know all of us can not wait until we can sit and stitch with you again....

You gals are so entertaining along with sharing your knowledge, you have now became part of my "normal" floss tube line up. I also made the mistake stuffing a drum with cotton stuffing. I bent one of my hand made pins trying to get it pushed in. How did quilters use cotton batting? I havent looked, but I sure I have one of julies hardanger booklets.

So good to see you two today! It always make me smile when I see your video pop up! Glad you’re feeling better, Jane! I love seeing your Hardanger pieces - and I can’t wait for more details - I’m self taught so I’m sure I did many things wrong on my pieces - it will be fun to see it done by an expert. I have the green on green pattern also and hope to stitch it soon - I’m going to “try” 😂 to stitch it on 46 count 🤦‍♀️. Have a good couple weeks and stay warm. We’re getting some freezing rain this morning over to your west. 🥶
