You do tho, if you turn sometimes they show, if you horizon lock they show, and I export the stab footage in 4:3 to reframe later and they appear, of course is not a huge issue but still I would prefer no ducts in view
Great video! Ducts in view is what I expected beta FPV to fix! Ducks in view is what made me stick to the pico but flight time is lacking. I’ll stick to the pico and cinelog 20
All true BetaFlight fpv drones can be setup for Angle horizon or acro on your controller. This one included. Bind angle and horizon to a position each on the 3 way switch and leave one blank. Acro is default will auto assign to the flight mode switch you left blank and doesn't need to be bound.
Think the camera mount can go on the original? Being able to just swap out the camera quick would be great. The original would make a fine back up to this quad.
Looks like the pro has lower kv motors and 2.2 vs the 2.0 inch props. Looks to be heavier and come stock with 3 bladed props vs the 2. Probably more thrust for lower rpm for longer battery life which it seems they’re advertising 6-7 minutes vs 5 minutes. I’d keep what you have and try some 3 bladed props. Heard good things about doing that.

Not much difference, just slightly bigger, little more power, stability and efficiency, they are similar, I also believe Pavo 20 has a tiny bit less ducts in view
Which would you recommend? 20Pro 25V2 35 ? I don't need an action camera on top, just dji o3. And it will be my first fpv drone, I have a dji air 2 but I really enjoyed an Avata 2 and I want to get in FPV.
Pavo 25 V2 and 35 are good but they have a design oversight where you cannot access the O3 system SD card, so I don't recommend them with O3! Pavo 20 pro is perfect for beginners imho, still light but flies good enough so that you will learn moves, do you need ducts? Because there are also ductless O3 drones that fly even better and don't have ducts in view you can consider
@@Rimzler I would absolutely love to not have the ducts in the view, but I would feel much more confident at the beginning with ducts + I would also try indoor flight
I love my Pavo 20 so much that I bought a spare so I have 2 identical setup for work. I had to radically detune them for cinematic stuff. So I bet this one is no different. I wish they fixed the duct view. I run mine so they are just in view. And after Gyroflow you do not see them.
It's a great drone, one of the best in this class, I would be so happy if they solved the ducts in frame thing, as it would be perfect then! Gyroflow cuts the ducts out but if you turn sharply or activate horizon lock you are going to see them😓

Hi! I know they are very separate categories but how does this compare to your experience with Stingerbee? Its less than half the price and I am setting up my first O3 system. I am getting ELRS as I already have a decent controller there.
I don't get it! This seems like a step down from the older BetaFPV 95X V3 with the 1404 motors. It also weighs in at a similar weight with the Vista. 03 isn't much heavier, either. I could care less about 4K footage of the 03, but I do care about the better low light capability of Vista vs. 03 and the better overall contrast vs. 03. 03 is always so dark in the shadows! We lose a lot of detail when the image is so damn dark in the shadows. Chris Rosser did a review of the 95X V3 with the 1404 motors - *They should have called it the V4 because the first V3 had 1106 motors that severely overheated. What a DUD! Anyway, Chris did a FANTASTIC TUNE for the 95x V4* and it flies absolutely perfect! Course it will use up to 4S lipos, but 3S seem to work very good too!!! They keep it lighter. But, the 95X has not only those much more efficient motors but they also have a ton more thrust! So, we get longer flight times AND better performance. 11 series motors were kinda of given up on long ago...well, except for the 1102 and 1103's. The 95X also has a full 2.5" prop. With all of these upgrades AND about the same weight, it sure appears like this Pavo Pico Pro is a downgrade from the 95X V4*! I can't imagine a 2.2:" prop with much smaller motors and about the same weight could possibly compete with the awesome way the Chris Rosser tuned 95X V4* performs! Such precision handling and a lot of power too! BetaFPV going backwards! It's stupid that most of the FPV drone makers discontinue older BNF's for newer designs....designs that aren't as good as the older ones! Why not leave those older models available for everyone to purchase? Why discontinue them so people can't buy them anymore? Makes no sense! More available models means more sales, I'd think...

Pavo 20 pro is better, more powerful, stable and no jello, but darkstar is lighter and more silent, I would consider the Flylens85 if you want the best 2s 2 inch, this Pavo 20 is another category using 3s
They had 4s in their previous series! The 95X V3 with 1404 motors, 2.5" props and a very similar weight is an awesome flyer...especially with Chris Rosser's amazing tune! I think it's better than these Pavo's. Those 1104 motors won't compete even closely to the 1404 motors on the 95X V3. 1404's re so efficient too. Plus, I can tell you without a doubt the 95X V3 is soooo much more durable. I've heard of guys having to buy more than 4 of those hokey and flimsy little VTX mounts for the top. The 95X V3 has the VTX mounted at the same level as the motors! Ah Haa! A major improvement in overall center of gravity, instead of the VTX being mounted so much higher up than where the motors are!!! That makes all of those Pavo's too top heavy. Should have kept the 95X V3 series still available for purchase - Stupid to discontinue such great products! BetaFPV should have just made a new version with 03 and Chris Rosser's tune! That's such a winner, when this Pavo Pico Pro seems like such a huge downgrade! I simply don't see how they could make the 95X V3 with 1404's any better! Plus, a whole new frame was only $15 RETAIL! I got one on closeout for a mere FIVE BUCKS! LOL Never had any damage to my original frame either. why, Why, WHY do makers stop keeping great older models still available for sale? You will not see ducts in stabilised video so it’s not an issue. Camera protection is more important

I use the DJI controller, yes it seems like the O4 may come out soon maybe a matter of weeks, it will be incredible for small Cinewhoops

@@Rimzler I am so happy with my 2.0 now that I wouldn't change. I want an updated 3.5 with the O3 to carry a full size gopro.
You can also mount the 03 a bit higher with just 1 screw on each side that way you dont see the duct anymore (at least thats what i heard)
