I love them. Own a pair of laceless ones and stealthfit. I 100% completely understand the gripes that it's a bit too firm and it's definitely not for everyone. I definitely don't like running in them at slower paces, you're joints just take an absolute beating, but when you're running miles under 7 minutes...oh yeah, awesome. It's definitely a speed shoe, if you want to do a lot of miles then you'll just have to run them fast!
I am a slow and heavy runner, it keeps me to be consistent on my form. I will say, I am recovering from an ankle sprain, by mile 2, I am done, so new shoes for 5k, still will do my daily 2 miles with this Levitate though.
@njay3104 Heck yeah, dude. Shortly after this post I actually switch to barefoot/minimalist shoes for daily wear and running. They feel 100x better once you get used to them. They completely change the way you run. Instead of heel striking, you midfoot and forefoot strike. Your achilles takes an absolute BEATING at first, but once you build it up enough, your knees and hips will feel better after runs and your feet, achilles, and calfs will become way stronger.
I own these but dont run in them...But I walk about 8 to 10 thousand steps a day at work and these are great. Comfortable and firm, yet cushioned enough to protect from the steps on concrete. Moved to these from the Ghosts and honestly, I really like both. Just ordered a pair of Hoka Bondi 7's so will see how they compare. :)
So this is my first running training shoe, and it does nothing of energy return, anything. It literally is a great trainer for me. No bounce, extra softness, nothing. It makes you work, thats what I want. I just bought the glycerins for when I EARN my easy runs.
I still got my Levitate 1 and so my father. Not running with it any more but the middlesole last forever and one of the most comfortable shoes I ever had . If this Levitate 5 offers half of the original then it worths buying.
Got the Stelth one. Fits very narrow.. Shoe feels really bottom heavy.. Heavy at 290gr for size 42.5. Hard midsole. Sent it back.
It’s not really a running shoe. I use it as my daily shoe offers great support for everyday wear.

You have the stealth fit ones and took the laces out?
@@domjf6 No. They make the stealth both with laces and just slip on.

I find them very comfortable for everyday. Running I would go in a different direction
