What a labor of love. Those bags are great! Something they can keep as a special gift from their Auntie. Fab!!! Great job Catherine! My Moms name is Kathleen (obviously with a K) she's called Kat. Do your family and friends call you that? Love your videos. You work and sew like my generation. My daughter is close to your age. She grows a vegetable garden. But doesn't sew, (I offered her a machine, she didn't want it). Oh well...lol! I love my sewing machine. It's good for repairs, if nothing else! But she wasn't interested. :( she's very handy! She can repair cell phones, video games etc...but not a seamstress). We all have our own unique talents. :) I love those bags! I have two new drop cloths...that's a great idea! TFS! Keep up the good work. We love you in the U.S. I live in Kentucky, about 35-40 minutes from where the Kentucky Derby is. Horse country...lol. look forward to your next video. Take care, and have fun! Stay safe and well. Hugs, Deb

Super cute! Santa sacks were my first sewing project years ago when I bought my sewing machine. It sure saved “Santa” a lot of time since gifts did not have to individually wrapped. My boys are now 26 and 20.
I love them! So cute!! What a great idea Catherine! ❤ I love how you personalized them 🙂 Your niece and nephew are so lucky to have such a thoughtful, creative and talented Auntie like you 💓
I’ve seen lots of Christmas bags but those were the absolute cutest I’ve ever seen!! 😍😍😍 of course my favorite gal made them 😁 I’m still stitching my facial cloths lol so I’m decoupaging boxes in the mean time. Have a safe & healthy & blessed Catherine 💖💖 give Blondie & Pepsi some extra loving from Kentucky. Love, hugs, & prayers headed your way 🙏🏻💖🙏🏻 cheeky thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻✌🏻✌🏻🌸🌷🌻💖💘💚
It's often when in great need, and shortage of resources, that we come up with the best ideas! It's a fantastic DIY, multipurpose, reusable and eco responsable 😉 I really like the rustic vibe. Hermione says cree-cut but it's spelled Cricut
I love the thickness of the rope you have used it's perfect, it shows really well. Another fantastic vlog Catherine, sending good wishes from Canada stay safe.
Sooo cute! I had a mini version as a purse when I was small and it brought back memories. I am going to have to make some for my nieces and daughter's gifts! Thank you for this.
Thank you so much I was looking to make one and couldn’t find a a video on how to do it just this way, my children had a Santa bag growing up but I used a big red blanket sewed up the sides and tied a big red ribbon on it and it was a memory they did not forget but I was looking to make it more this way so thank you so much
I like that very nice use of a drop cloth and I'm sure people will have them around the house so it'll be using what you have I wish this pandemic was over bright blessings to you hon stay safe
Fabulous!! I'm currently making Christmas sacks myself - I'm up to about 10 now! It's going to save lots of time and paper over the next few years with less waste :D I'm very very new to sewing though - this is my first project so they are a tad wonky in their own way hahah I love the rope names on yours! They look great x
I'd love you to make a braided edge fleece blanket. Hopefully, I with your guidance I could make one for my daughter. Take care and stay safe. Oh, XX for blondie!
Oh, I love these! What a great way to recycle drop cloth. I bet your niece and nephew will love these (especially with your handmade goodies!) Water erasing markers are great, aren't they? Embroidery would look great on these (if the drop cloth can take the thread). Another fab DIY! xoxo
Great idea! I want to make some of thee now. I have a cricut and don't use it nearly as much as some people I know. It's pronounced like the bug, Cricket. It's easy to remember if you look at the logo because they have a little bug face with the name.
How adorable is that! I think the rope material is great it goes really well with the drop cloth fabric. Now if we could just find ya the right guy to fit into one of them sacks!! 😂. Stay safe, sane and looking forward to seeing next weeks video 💕
