QOTD: I just had an interesting idea. Pick a vault hunter for a play through and use a spinning wheel to pick a gun manufacturer to use. It could be for the day or you could spice it up with you having to spin the wheel again whenever something happens like your character dies or you go to the next chapter in the story. If the wheel lands on a different manufacturer, you have to drop the gear you have and gear up again.

K6: Next playthrough should be a playthrough where you have to beat the game (all content) WITHOUT a Linoge dropping or appearing from a chest. If you do find one, have to restart until you can beat the game without one dropping or appearing in a chest.

I really enjoy your ONE life playthroughs. You're right though; your deaths are always for terrible reasons. But that adds the perfect amount of spice to the stream.
QOTD: No shield launcher Moze playthrough. Make you have to speck into her skills that give health regen. Same goes for artifacts/class mods. Something different for you (I suppose).

QOTD: Next playthrough a Moze and ONLY Cub playthrough. Honestly didn't have spicy water on my K6 loses 1 life bingo card. Fully expected K6 to lose it to a barrel troll. Also the loot tink dropped a Trybolt, least it wasn't a Linoge. 😂
QOTD suggestion: BL3 any VH, complete game and max level using only world drops, boss first kill drops, quest items and vendors. No farmable dedicated drops, no vault card items & no Arms Race chests (Harker drops allowed). BL3 without farming basically. You'll hate it 😆
Edit: Or play like a linear game so only allowed to play repeatable content once e.g Arms Race, Proving Grounds, Takedowns, Vault Cards etc. Would require being strategic about when to play each during levelling up.
I'd like to reiterate the idea for a scavenger playthrough, either in TPS or BL3. You must always equip any item that you find in the world, whether it's through a drop, a quest reward, or the Item of the Day in a vending machine. If multiple items drop for the same slot from an enemy or boss, you can either find a method to pick one randomly or pick up the first one whose item card pops up when mousing over them. You can choose between multiple quest rewards. You cannot farm for items; only for experience if you so choose (but I would add the stipulation that you must do side quests to level up, as a way to do content you normally don't really see in an optimized or planned playthrough.)
Character is unlimited, but on the honor system of using a character that, well, actually uses guns. Like, it's pointless doing a scavenger run on Melee Krieg, because you just never shoot or care about shields (much) or even grenades as Krieg. It's fine to choose a character that has some kind of auxiliary damage because it wouldn't be fun to be stuck with something utterly ridiculously bad against a flying boss or something, but just so long as you don't do nothing but use that source of damage. So, you know... no 100% Iron Bear Moze.
The point of the playthrough is to be forced to adapt on the fly to all kinds of different weapons, and try to make a build that is flexible. I strongly recommend doing things on TPS or BL3 because they actually give you a ton of different gun options that are fun to use and genuinely varied. And frankly, they're easier games in a good way, so you would have less likelihood of getting gated by an unfortunate roll on an annoying boss. You might find that despite how common and fun legendaries in BL3 are, there's actually a lot of fun rares and uncommons to use as well. You might do content you normally wouldn't do. Personally, I would actually introduce an easement that, say, you don't have to equip common gear unless you really want to, just to make sure you're not stuck with something that's not just abysmal but boring.
QOTD: Elden Ring 1 life? lol j/j. I'd like to see a Purple Tree Amara run. Gotta max out purple tree, no other trees until you have that maxed. And of course, you gotta smack balls around as your action skill

As someone who typically only does 1L runs anymore, when you die in the most idiotic, avoidable way possible, it's absolutely soul crushing.
As an example, after having accidentally "Skyrocket-ed" myself for the umpteenth time as Maya, ruining yet another run, I decided to try another Vault Hunter. I went with Gaige, only to then die on the fire right next to the ammo chest outside of Claptrap's place. Being absolutely disgusted with myself, I turned off the game and threw on UA-cam to start to wind down my night. The first video I watched was the start of a new BL2 run that K6 did, with Gaige, where he "Tactically Respawned" to the same thing that got me less than an hour before. I immediately subbed after that, once I was done laughing my head off, of course.

And to answer the QotD, any game, any Vault Hunter, but "Quest Rewards Only".
Shieldless Zane. You cant use any form of shield - equipabble one, hyperion weapons or shield skill. Only shield that is allowed to use is Rough Rider.

QOTD: How about a Grenade's only run... If you have no grenades then you have to use the first white or green gun you find until you pick up more grenades.
Having watched your videos for a long time and never doing a challenge run myself despite a lot of hours in borderlands I decided to do a one life moze seeing as I've not played her in a couple years. I got a butcher just before heading up in sanctuary. Lvl7. I'm just not lvl14 and killed traunt in 5 seconds in combo with nagata. This gun will carry me to level 30 😂

I have some ideas for the next playthrough:
-Launchers Only Moze,
-Maliwan Allegiance Zane (but no Grease Trap until endgame),
-Jakobs Allegiance Gaige on Borderlands 2 (only if you're in the mood for torturing yourself),
-No Linoge Playthrough (once you get a Linoge, you have to delete the character and start over).

Actually, bad idea having guardian angel before the door hot wiring in the family jewel quest I've just found out on my own play through. The service bot disappears after your second wind but then the shock dot takes you down again and the bot doesnt come back! Need to make sure there's still some ratch around or respec before the quest

Guns, Love has a good story, some very good gear (especially the Skullmasher and Pearl or Ineffable Knowledge). The Director’s Cut gives you a very good set up for the future of the series with its stories via the Ava Murder Mysteries. It also has the Vault Cards which gives you several VERY powerful pieces of gear: Super Soldier Shield, Guardian Angel shotgun and Blade Fury AR.
So both are great and I’d recommend both but the Directors cut is the better deal for gear and story imo

@K6 When you are farming Sumo for the Re-Volter, do you ever end up knocking him off the map? I was farming him with a Ball focused Amara and every once in a while, he would get yeeted off the map, so no loot.

Had I switched to THAT one I wouldn’t have died. The Phasezerker I had on had points in Aenema which made me take more elemental damage
