It sounds like the new gaming mentality. You no longer own your games even if you pay, someordinarygamers on UA-cam did a video on it a few months back. They physically have it on there computer so they figure they own it even if you pay. Sucks😢

It may not have been them. One time I had the oppisite happen. I had just gotten the barn find mustang fixed, and I left the game. I left, came back, and had hundreds of copys of them. I started selling them and was making a huge profit. then they all disappeared. I got to keep the money, It could be that your game just diddn't save right. But sorry you lost your stuff.
