Dragons are predators they lash out when they feel threatened, it does not matter the size. Storms End is not that far from Dragonstone or Driftmark. Lucerys was not a coward just a 14 yr old, in the world of Westeros he is considered grown that’s why she allowed him to go.
On the show..Vhaegar was Laena's dragon before Aemond's...and Moondancer is Baela's so I dont know how the little guy in the middle get "Velaryons dont ride dragons" lol
He is right. Velaryons dont ride dragon. Laena, Laenor and Baela were dragonriders because their Mother and father (In case of baela) were targaryens. Its not that deep
I'm not going to stand for dragon slander. The boy with green shorts is cancelled. Jokes. In seriousness though, it's a baby dragon. Not a midget. Actually, Ceraxes is a deformed dragon but doesn't stop him from being firece. Lucerys is like 14. Don't get the red top one because he called Jacerys a 'retard' for suspecting he'd fight but Lucerys a coward for potentially not fighting. Can't win with him. Aemond is described in the books as looking older than his age. No one wanted war. Aemond killing Lucerys is twice as bad for him because he's started a war and he's also now a kinslayer and will be labelled as such which is one of the worst things anyone can be in this world. They believe the gods curse a kinslayer forever. That look Aemond gave was him probably thinking "shit, Daemon is coming for me."
Nope it was definitely shit, I just started a war. You think Aemond is afraid of Daemon😅. Even in the books in the battle on the gods eye you know who went looking for who
Yeah, i feel at first Aemond was only trying to scare Luke, but Arrax , acted on his own accord, which pissed Vhagar off enough to cause her to eat luke
It’s the dragons that stop listening to there riders. You hear Luke tell armada to serve him n said no when the dragon spit fire. Then Aemond was doing the same thing.then when he get eaten Aemond realized that he basically started this war.
King Viserys said himself that they truly do not control their dragons. Because of Aemond's actions; where he was letting his ego run wild, he let his dragon, Vhagar, get to close to Lucerys' dragon, Arrax, and was clipped by Vhagar. This pissed off Arrax, and he ignored Lucerys' commands and fire stormed Vhagar. Vhagar was having nothing of it, and ignored Aemond's commands and killed Arrax with Luke riding it. Aemond's thirst for revenge started the war, and created the Black Queen. The way they found out Lucerys' was dead, his head washed up on the beach
can y’all maybe not start conversations in the middle of the reaction? 💀 makes it so annoying and not enjoyable. And I’m sorry but it’s so weird laughing during that stillbirth scene, get it together. And Luke is most certainly not a coward but a scared child doing what he was told to do.
The translation has been confirmed thanks to the language's creator, David J. Peterson (via Archive Of Our Own). In it, it is revealed that the name of the song Daemon sings to Vermithor is "With Three Heads". Check the English translation: Fire breathes, winged leader but two heads For a third to sing From my voice: The fires spoke And the price has been paid with blood magic With words of fire with clear eyes To tie the three for you i sing As one we come together And with three heads We'll fly like we were meant to beautifully, freely In the book Aemond he kills Luke and because he wanted not to and as he is showing in the series that he is sorry, the name of Rhaenyra's baby would be a girl and her name would be visenya Rhaenyra wasn't dreaming of a dragon giving birth. Her own dragon, Syrax, was screaming in pain at her because they are so bonded. If you notice during the Battle of the Stepstones, Caraxes screams when Daemon is hit by an arrow. this shows how Rhaenyra and Daemon have a great connection with their dragons. Rhaenyra's anger burns the whole transition was so well done, her anger is completely justified compared to how they made Daenarys Daemon as crazy as it gets, he loved his brother. From the scene where he stopped Corlis talking shit about Viserys in ep 1, helping on the throne to mourning on the beach. I don't think Daemon wanted to show weakness because Rhaenyra was at her most vulnerable and it wasn't easy.. (His last wife died in childbirth, and I believe it is also said that his mother died in childbirth and the wife of Viserys died in childbirth.) So the only thing he could do was prepare for the war he knew was coming. The scene on the beach was much longer of him on the beach Matt the actor he shot a scene on the beach the daemon suffering from the death of his baby who was a girl and her name was the series visenya but HBO preferred to remove this scene the daemon he is not no saint anymore he loves his family he loves his children and really rhaenyra just unfortunately the writers prefer not to show that side of him much, i think the reason daemon didnt go to rhaenyra when she was giving birth is because he feared having to make an impossible choice. The last woman he had complications with died. He didn't want to have to make that choice for Rhaenyra. He couldn't lose her that way. When he dropped to his knees, he was relieved that she was okay and had survived. Rhaenyra didn't want help during the birth because of her mother's death. She wanted to get that baby out so she wouldn't suffer the same fate. This series/book is awesome... Matt Smith said that Daemon would give his life for Viserys and Rhaenyra. I fully believe he was heartbroken to see his brother in that condition.
Both dragons disobeyed their riders (which is Aemond's fault). Arrax could feel his rider's emotions as well as his own. He felt under attack and disobeyed Lucerys by breathing fire at Vhagar because of that. And then Vhagar disobeyed Aemond by attacking back, and killing them. Aemond didn't want that to happen but the whole situation and result was his fault because of his actions. I was so anxious during that whole scene! I just knew something was going to happen. I was wary when Lucerys was chosen to be a messenger. I was nervous because he's just a kid and I know how Game of Thrones likes to do horrible sh*t. 😆 I couldn't help but cry at that scene! For him and his dragon. It breaks my heart! And I felt so bad for his mother. Such a sad scene. I will say though that I liked the scene as well because Game of Thrones is also really amazing at making grey characters. Seeing another side to Aemond when you see his shock, I like those sort of deeper looks at characters. Especially ones that you think are simply bad, but may not wholly be so.
For the guy on the red tshirt, let us see even 10% of the courage the 14yr old had when you see yourself stuckup in a fighting pit against The Rock. Nah bro I am pretty sure you will shit your pants.
Poor Rhaenyra lost her father, her baby due to stillbirth, lost her one of her sons and also her inheritance and birthright was stolen from her she has every right to burn all the greens.
The thing of this rhaeynera actually would’ve stepped back if ammena survived and had a boy but because she didn’t rhaeynera didn’t want anything to do with her brothers from alicent which is also understandable. Rhaenerya wouldn’t have cared if he r brother from the same mother was on the throne she would’ve understood and stepped back if visery’s named that son heir.
I'm just sad we have to wait until 2024 for S2. Doesn't every season finale feel like graduation day? There is some closure but you're going to miss seeing your friends. I won't visit many of the UA-cam reactors until the 2nd season airs. Because GRRM lore can be dissected and talked about forever. MCU doesn't have the depth for it. The characters aren't that complicated. And Star Wars lost my interest many years ago. Didn't even bother with Andor. GRRM said we may get S2 by April/May 2024. And 2 years does move quickly. It's not like the 1990s when a year felt like a year. Now 5 years feels like only 1 year elapsed. They won't start filming until March next year. I wish they can film closer apart for each season. Then we only need to wait 9.5 months for the next season. The 2.5 months watching it with UA-cam reactors usually on Sundays is an awesome experience. I just love seeing people react to every episode and feeling shocked and confused. I'm going through withdrawals without any HOT D during these next 75-90+ Sundays. TBH, HOT D isn't really my favorite show. Neither was GOT. I don't even have GOT in my top 10 and that's if you removed S7 and S8. But I love discussing GRRM's lore. They have the deepest stable of complicated characters and situations that SW, Marvel, DC, and LOTR doesn't have. Oh, well. I guess I'll be watching The Mandalorian S3, The Boys S4, and Loki S2. I love all 3 but it's not on the level of HOT D when it comes to discussions or shock value. So 2023 is mostly going to be a bore without any HOT D content. Next year just won't be the same without it. I no longer rely on superhero content to entertain me. I'd rather watch classic movies from the 20th century than the cookie-cutter crap coming from MCU and DCEU. I'm currently binge watching The Crown. And people are right , "Matt Daemon" is crushing his role as Prince Phillip. He and Ewan Mitchell as Aemond is perfect casting. One area we can't fault about HOT D is the acting. Perhaps another area is the music. Add brilliant costume designs and cinematography (minus the dark scenes in Ep 7). I give Season 1 an 8.5/10 only because I didn't care for some of the time jumps and false characterizations. But it does a lot of things right. Best show on TV.
Rhenish didn’t kill them when she could have because it wasn’t her war to start, plus she need/want’s her husbands decision for there house cause you have to think in these times every house was under a patriarchy.
Why is there always the “logical” person in a fictional show reaction? I’ll never understand it. He’s questioning something you clearly don’t know the for sure answer to. Logically, it could be something explained in the book you didn’t read. In the book, bits of Arrax washed up on the shores of Storm’s End, as things tend to do after a storm.

Laena, Laenor and Baela were dragonriders because their Mother and father (In case of baela) were targaryens.
Its not that deep
The dragon Daemon sang to is, Vermithor "The Bronze Fury".
Yall especially the left one guy always threw unecessary questions. Come on guys.
#teamdaemon 🔥
Nope it was definitely shit, I just started a war. You think Aemond is afraid of Daemon😅. Even in the books in the battle on the gods eye you know who went looking for who
@@brentleysadiki358 - last part was a joke.
The girls should create threir own channel.
nice reaction guys 💜💜i subbed
King Viserys said himself that they truly do not control their dragons. Because of Aemond's actions; where he was letting his ego run wild, he let his dragon, Vhagar, get to close to Lucerys' dragon, Arrax, and was clipped by Vhagar. This pissed off Arrax, and he ignored Lucerys' commands and fire stormed Vhagar. Vhagar was having nothing of it, and ignored Aemond's commands and killed Arrax with Luke riding it. Aemond's thirst for revenge started the war, and created the Black Queen. The way they found out Lucerys' was dead, his head washed up on the beach
loves the vibes, love the energy 💜💜
can y’all maybe not start conversations in the middle of the reaction? 💀 makes it so annoying and not enjoyable. And I’m sorry but it’s so weird laughing during that stillbirth scene, get it together. And Luke is most certainly not a coward but a scared child doing what he was told to do.
In the books, next morning Arrax's pieces were found at the beach serving as feast for the crabs
Calling luke a coward?!?! Who tf are u 🤣
gotta wait 2 years for next season :(((
😭😭😭😭😭😭
A coward? What?
What disrespect, using phones and not paying attention missing obvious details LOL
The translation has been confirmed thanks to the language's creator, David J. Peterson (via Archive Of Our Own).
In it, it is revealed that the name of the song Daemon sings to Vermithor is "With Three Heads". Check the English translation:
Fire breathes, winged leader
but two heads
For a third to sing
From my voice:
The fires spoke
And the price has been paid
with blood magic
With words of fire
with clear eyes
To tie the three
for you i sing
As one we come together
And with three heads
We'll fly like we were meant to
beautifully, freely
In the book Aemond he kills Luke and because he wanted not to and as he is showing in the series that he is sorry, the name of Rhaenyra's baby would be a girl and her name would be visenya
Rhaenyra wasn't dreaming of a dragon giving birth. Her own dragon, Syrax, was screaming in pain at her because they are so bonded. If you notice during the Battle of the Stepstones, Caraxes screams when Daemon is hit by an arrow. this shows how Rhaenyra and Daemon have a great connection with their dragons. Rhaenyra's anger burns the whole transition was so well done, her anger is completely justified compared to how they made Daenarys
Daemon as crazy as it gets, he loved his brother.
Y’all are my faves
haha cheers István ! We appreciate the support 💜💜
For the guy on the red tshirt, let us see even 10% of the courage the 14yr old had when you see yourself stuckup in a fighting pit against The Rock. Nah bro I am pretty sure you will shit your pants.
ur uncut reaction was jokes 😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
That guy in red is so annoying..calling luke a coward
Poor Rhaenyra lost her father, her baby due to stillbirth, lost her one of her sons and also her inheritance and birthright was stolen from her she has every right to burn all the greens.
The thing of this rhaeynera actually would’ve stepped back if ammena survived and had a boy but because she didn’t rhaeynera didn’t want anything to do with her brothers from alicent which is also understandable. Rhaenerya wouldn’t have cared if he r brother from the same mother was on the throne she would’ve understood and stepped back if visery’s named that son heir.
The guy with the Red t-shirt has no idea
Both Dragons actually didn't listen to their riders so it was basically dragon vs dragon
Aemond Targaryen 🔥
29:29 And at that moment..he knew… he f*cked up!
First of all...don't b coming for my fav Luke....how is he a coward? He actually WENT, DELIVERED the message disregarding how he really did not want to go but knew it was for the sake of his mom...that sounds like COURAGE to me. Im sorry but yall be the same "Grown" LITTLE BOYS calling a 14-year-old IN A SHOW a coward like yall would have did the same thing yourselves IRL like plssss the audacity keeps me humored.. not too much on Luke ponks
The girl with the shoulder damn she is looking awesome and ripped 😍
