Fun video! Hate when a guitar goes out of tune in a middle of a test. lol. I modded my strat a while ago. Not really new pickups, but I split coil both pickups and put a push/pull pot for both. Something like 9 different tonal variations now, though I only use maybe 3. lol Cheers, Michael!
Yeah, Preston, I hate a few things more than that. Coil splits are a fun and simple mod, too, especially on a Strat, so you can tap into all the Strat single-coil tones while keeping your humbucker tones. I have a plan for my Player Plus HSS Strat (review is up here, too); I just have to find the wiring diagram I need.

Yes & yes, knees. That Sentient was worth the 18-month wait. I forgot to mention, but the Rhoads' stock pickups were also zebra coils, so of course, I had to have zebra Duncans in it.

Thanks. The King V is a cool axe too. Good thing Jackson’s JS series guitars have bolt-on necks. Makes for an easier repair.
