    so, I got this, and I'm trying to hook up the motherboard cable. but it seems like the 18-1 and the 10 pin connectors are switched places around on the PSU side and I'd have to twist them/rip them apart to connect it up?????? Am I missing something? It almost seemed like you hid the connected motherboard cable from the video!

      @@bryzeer5075it only has two 6+2 pcie headers on it though. Some 3080ti AIB's like the Evga FTW3 and Strix cards require 3 6+2 pins so this psu can't be used for that unless you use a cable with a pigtail and it's not good to share power. • @mysticqro950
      @mysticqro950 Рік тому

      I have the same MSI a750gf power supply with 4080 and all you need is a 12vhpwr adapter. Usually it comes with your GPU, but there’s custom ones online too, like cablemod. It just connects to the 3 regular PCIE 8pin cables on your power supply. The 4060ti might used less 8pin cables, but I’m not sure. So as long your psu meets the requirements of watts for your gpu you’ll be fine. The only difference from a PCIE 5 atx 3 power supply is that the 12vhpwr cable connects directly from your psu to your gpu, so you won’t need an extension for it. Any power supply will work.
