Since i am already a True Southerner, i better give this a try (but i will probably use a chicken sausage and add in some spices). It lookscreally tasty. Tfs
Not sure why lately so many YT cooking videos do not have the "save" option any more so that people like me can put a video like this directly to my recipe folder. Now I have to send this in a multi step way to my email, then make a separate file system for recipes outside of YT which is a 10 minute project.
Oh, goodness, not sure why you couldn't save. You could go to my website, put the title in the search box, and it will populate. The video is there, too, as well as the recipe.
Great recipe and it looks incredible. When we saw Ally and her demeanor all of us thought of an old Google+ member/channel called (if I remember correctly) Ally's Boho Lifestyle or some such. After watching pretty sure it is her and have liked and subscribed. Ally always made food we enjoyed and presented it in a way that was straightforward and never pretentious. Maria Nasir at Foodaholics, Little Greek Cooking Tips, Vincenzo's Plate (Google+ is where he started out after leaving Taste of Italy) and Jovina Coughlin who joined Vinzenzo's then new channel always did the same. We liked Ally even more than Azlin Bloor as she was such a sweetheart and charming to chat with. I always suspected Ally had Southern roots and now we know. Great video !

Chicken sausage will be yummy!
This looks delicious. I've got to give it a try. Thanks for sharing.
You're so welcome, and, yes, it's yummy!
I love all the ingredients so I will try this!
Wow looks delicious a must try Tomorrow Thanks
Thank you for making this authentic recipe and NOT adding cheese to the grits as almost every restaurant does.
I'm not a cheese fan of my grits!
Extra cheesy is the only way I eat any grits, I’m surprised people don’t like the cheese add in!
Looks delicious, I will have to try this
Yums! I got to make this sooner over later.

What spices do you use
Just go to the recipe at allyskitchen.com Put the name of the recipe in the search box, it will populate.
So what were the tomatoes? Stewed, pureed, diced???
It's all in the recipe, luv.
I love buying my grits from the guy that sold Jack his beanstalk beans.
That's great!

About lost me at the hillshire basic "andouille" sausage. Surely you had better options 😅
Yeah depends on where she lives😅 I hear you though
You sure can choose another option.

OH, goodness, I'm overwhelmed by your love. THANK YOU! All of these foodies are phenomenal, and I'm very honored even to be in their breathing space!
Silly!
Milk? Southern grits heresy.
Not making cream of wheat. 😮😢
