Shingle Roof Chimney Step Flashing

In this video we show how to install step flashing for a chimney detail on a shingle roof.
This may be the single most important flashing in a roof system. If it is missed, water will enter at the corner of the chimney. This detail is also used at walls and any square roof penetration where water needs to be directed past a corner.
