The Versova-Virar sea link - a 43-km elevated road - will connect Versova, a western suburb of Mumbai, to the fast-growing, dense residential hub of Virar - Mumbai’s satellite town in the city’s larger urban agglomeration of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
The project involves not only the construction of a 43 km road over the sea about 1 km off the coast of Mumbai, but also the construction of approximately 58 km of suburban roads, including connector roads and junctions (earthwork and elevated) in addition to the main road, which comes 101 km in total.
The Versova-Virar sea link has an estimated budget of Rs 63,426 crore and thus would be the city’s costliest sea link

Virar-Versova link and it's connectivity to Delhi Mumbai expressway will be a game changer.. jaldi se jaldi modi and Gadkari ki govt me banwalo.. otherwise nahin ho payega 😅 even if MMRDA hire consultant today, it will take atleast 8-10 years from now that it will ready and opened for public, so it's 2033 😢
Excellent video. All Mumbaikars will get a lot of relief after these infra projects complete. This coastal road project is brainchild of current Maharashtra DCM Mr. Fadnavis. He and current CM Mr. Shinde are working tirelessly to bring state of Maharashtra to its previous glory. Also, salute to Modiji and Mr. Gadkari who are whole heartedly supporting them to achieve that.

Virar versova sealink game changer hago, abhi subse jyada traffic mumbai se ghodbandar fountain tak hai iss sealink se sub mumbai se delhi jane wali sabhi cars sealink se direct virar se mumbai ahmedabad highway pe ja sakte hai or trucks or badi gaadiya purane highway se bina traffic ke mumbai ja sakte hai.
