BYD Seagull's ground clearance is 120mm (Toyota Wigo is 160mm). Considering barangay roads, squatter's areas, and subdivisions are fond of speed bumps/humps plus PH's flood-prone streets, the battery is in constant danger of getting damaged.
This is not made for PH's roads.

@@kenkens9874 haven't you read incidents where EVs were considered TOTALLED because the battery below was damaged by protrusions (rocks, steels bars, etc) on the road? It's more likely to happen to this car due to the dismal 120mm ground clearance. BTW, replacing the battery usually costs 95% of the EV's price, so it's considered totalled.

Pure EV vs. ICE maintenance. AFAIK, sa EV, mostly brake pads, tires, brake fluid, coolant (yes, even EV's have radiators for cooling the batteries and motor), cabin filter, suspension bushing and most likely the suspension system. As for ICE cars, oil, sparkplugs, air filter, clutch, etc. Basically, less maintenance and parts to replace.
