I saw them in 2013 and had no idea who they were. They melted my face off and I've been following them ever since.
Don't know how her voice lasts an entire show. Unreal.
Proper technique.
I read her voice maintenance routine and its a full time job on its own. Back when I was going to see them live they were touring 300 days a year playing several hundred shows a year
using false chords as often as she does will still result in damage over time. Inexpect there will be a big decline in vocal performance in the next few years as she heads into her 40s.
@@thyop89 didn't know false fold employment leads to vocal deterioration. Why?
@@thyop89 I thought after 50s usually, but it all depends on lifestyle and health. It seems to me that in her case it’s definitely not under 40s

Thank you
Lzzy Hale.....you are a rock goddess. Man I love this band and its sound.
I hope u like their sound
I am a 62 year young man who grew up with Rock 'N Roll and have been a fan of this band since I found them 6 years ago! Great show!
52 me too
53 and I’ve loved them since the first time I saw them in Melbourne 4-5yrs ago. Seen them in SanAntonio recently too, they rock
Halestorm is "Old School Rock" like Van Halen, Pat Benatar, Lita Ford, & Canada's Metal Queen Lee Aaron, the Older Version of Lizzy Hale Of Halestorm! Halestorm Influences include: Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Van Halen, Heart, Pat Benatar, Metallica, Etc., Etc., like Myself! That is why I Love Halestorm Too!😍
Yep similar, for me they are the successor to such all time greats as Patti Smith, Chrissy Hynde and Sonic Youth. Hope Halestorm visit NZ again!
54. Fan since I first heard Miss the Misery 5 or 6 yrs ago.
I think Lzzy deserves some kind of Olympic medal for moving about as easily as she does in those heels... I'm sitting here, listening to and enjoying the whole show, and each time a shot of her that includes her feet occurs, I'm sitting here, trying to figure out how the hell she doesn't fall over...
Years of practice.
And she’s also working a pedal board
How the heel does she do that?
I'll see myself out.
I've even seen her do freaking head high kicks in those things. It's unbelievable.
Cellar Studio Productions please do
“So how many guitars are you going to need for this show Lizzy?”
“Yes”
Gimme that foo fighters amount!
I don't know if it's been said yet, but Lzzy gets much of the attention in the band, deservably so. But little brother back there in the drums is incredible and a show in itself.
I really didn't knew he was her brother but at the song Do not disturb he had my attention as much as she did.
His solos with the 3 foot drumsticks is a hell of a thing. Easily on my my favorite parts of them live.
My dad and I have always talked about how that what makes Halestorm so fun to watch live is how Lzzy and Arejay are in constant sibling competition for the crowds attention.
Arejay is the most underrated drummer. ever. Dude is a beast. Anyone who plays a cymbal with another cymbal....Freaking Awesome
Don't forget josh and Joe.... All dripping with talent.
Never heard this band before, holy smokes she’s a real force to be reckoned with! Great band.
where have you been they have been brilliant for years live or studio album
True story. Imagine what the world would be like if every woman (and man!) had this kind of confidence and bravado.
Try these two as well :)

How does Lzzy continue to sing like that is purely incredible. No mere mortal would have a voice the next day, singing like that.
I was just thinking the same thing. Shes great.
Vocal Technique
She probably doesn’t talk when on tour. She’s probably on vocal rest throughout the day.
I'm worried about her vocal cords wearing out!
Probably THE best live version of 'I Am The Fire' currently on UA-cam. They keep getting better and better. Can't wait to see them again in future
Indeed!! She's is singing incredibly better than never
I agree, saw them twice 2 yrs ago, her voice was shot, here she seems rested and strong, I love her
Wow! Lzzy sounded incredible! I saw them a year prior to this show on May 10th, 2018 (2 months before the “Vicious” album came out.) in Reading, PA and the whole band were on fire that night also). I’m proud to say that I’ve been a fan since they were still playing clubs. I’ve seen them 4 times ( January 27th, 2010 opening for Theory of a Deadman with Adelitas Way, & Taking Dawn (They changed their name but I forget what the name is now.) I saw them on December 29th, 2010. It was part of their first ever headlining tour I think, I’m not sure but I know it was the first time I saw them headline at least. That show was with New Medicine, Madam Adam, and a local band called “Beyond Eden”. The venue those 2 shows were at (Crocodile Rock In Allentown, PA) was demolished a few years ago and turned into apartments. Then I saw them again in Reading, PA on May 10th, 2018 @ The Santander Arena where they headlined with “In This Moment”, New Years Day, & Stitched Up Heart. Then I saw them July 17th, 2019 in Allentown, PA @ The PPL Center where they opened for Alice Cooper with Motionless In White. They sounded great at all 4 shows. If I see them 1 more time, they’ll be tied with the number of times I’ve seen The Rolling Stones, which i’ve seen 5 times.
Lzzy Hale's Voice could move mountains, end wars, and possibly melt the very skin off your face! Seriously... you will be hard pressed to find someone, male or female, that can sing like her and bloody scream like her! Wow!!! She never ceases to absolutely amaze me. If this corona virus ever ends, Halestorm will be a top priority of mine for the next concert I attend.
listen to sylvaine
I TOTALLY AGREE!!
LZZY HAS A VOICE OUT OF THIS UNIVERSE!!!
BEST VOCALS IN THE WORLD🎵🎵🎵🎵💞💞💞
New to this band and I was curious if she could nail some of those notes on the record live... She totally can holly shit she is amazing!
Try melody, the vocalist out of a young American band called lilliac
I know them, high talentend teen band!

Halestorm is now my favorite modern hard rock band of all time.
Just what I need to take my mind off the madness of the world, a Halestorm concert. You guys rock.
IKR?
You rock my man!
Her vocal range is insane
I've always LIKED Halestorm...this concert made me LOVE Halestorm. Amazing show and my goodness every instrument flawlessly played...vocals amazing.

I don't understand what you're saying... People were in the same room watching live music being performed? That doesn't sound possible. It was a thing?

Lzzy Hale is the real deal. She really commands the stage. Great band.
63 years old and I just love this band,Gotta come to Toronto please. You are a rock Goddess Lizzy .Powerhouse!
I saw them in Iowa. I know they did some Canada shows with Volbeat last year.
The guitar soloing during Amen!!! OMFG!!!
Stunning vocal performance, great band.
Only singer I've ever heard that sounds better live than in the studio.
Floor Jansen: Hold my beer.
I guess you have not heard of Led Zeppelin!
Come a long way from playing the Rusty Rudder and Bottle & Cork in Dewey Beach, Delaware. This was the first band I did lights for when I did concert lighting, we knew back then they had something special. So happy for their success.
They are so talented. It's a shame they aren't even bigger yet. Show the poor musical tastes currently.
Bottle & Cork 😎 crazy memories of that place from the late 70's early 80's.
I've heard their music before, but first time seeing a performance.
Mrs. Hale, you have a beautiful energy.
Band sounds fantastic live! Hail to Halestorm!
Arigato!
HALESTORM live is FREAKIN UNBELIEVABLE AWESOME🤘🎸! ♥️CHRISIE frm NJ

God, I love Halestorm!
"too"
Daaaaaym I like how her voice has matured, like whiskey, softer but stronger, or it’s the life performance 😍 love the extra grunge more “death metal esque”, rawr first time hearing a live of her, what a sweet discovery
I was following her when she was having issues in her early 30s when her voice was starting to go through its second change and she was having a really hard time until she finally figured out what was going on
I still prefer the pre-2015 Lzzy. Her raspy tone is still good but it is a little rough and uneven compared to her younger days. She also can't belt an A#5 anymore.
I played this concert on a loop for like 6 hours and still can't stop it. Took my sleep and sadness away
What a incredible voice!
My fam went this and we all watched it back at home. This was the moment I fell in love with them. I'm so annoyed I didn't find them sooner but its alright cuz I went to ally pally in November. Thanks to them I also love new years day and met Ash this year. This band has bought me so much happiness and is the only band my entire family love🖤🤘
Halestorm is one of the few bands that has saved my life I have their logo on my arm next to Linkin Park
better late than never! Truly one of the best bands ever...and I'm an old headbanger.
@@fangraverwolf5154 yesss Im glad your alright. Music truly is the best
@@ryanmessingham1178 that it is it's kept me from riding my bike out in front of a car more than once on my worst days while going to and from work
I went to ally pally too! also enjoyed In This moment who supported!
I saw them live several years ago and simply fell in love. Just freakin great rock music!
I freaking love the drummer's sense of style. Matching jacket, tie, and shorts. Tack and loud. I love it! ❤️
Arjay is pretty good at being unique. When I saw them, he was rocking a pink suit jacket and pineapple shorts.
Arejay does like to put on a show.
zekstr all show and a lot of bashing.
Love how she just owns the stage charisma comes through her and Taylor Momsen are 2 women that are ruling rock music now
It seems that the ladies are carrying the torch for hard rock and heavy metal right now.
59:02 Her hand is bleeding dude, THIS IS ROCK AND ROLL!
The drummer's ear seems to be bleeding too
@@yevgeniysimonov5906 Lzzy shouldn't have brought that girl hahaha
Damn. Commitment to the art
Lol that's not the first time she's done that 11 years ago she did it bad had her old white gibson Les Paul covered in blood
@@maaferreirahd who’s the girl?
I love how she values her fans! And rock those heels girl! Can I get an amen!
AMEN
I've met her 7 times from 2011 to 2015 they are super cool people she's an absolute sweetheart I have pictures of me and my mom with her lol
Lzzy singing, playing, and switching her pedals with those shoes on is too much talent for one person 🤘
I have been not so thrilled about modern music but this rocks.
Her voice sounds like a storm, she's amazing!!! ✌🏻🇮🇹
Her voice is like a fine wine. Just gets better with age Baby.
Lizzy hale has a hell of a voice. Her voice sounds so amazing.
Was coached by Steve Whiteman from Kix
The whole concert is insanely amazing first of all but that ending was truly out of this world. So sick!
Ladies and gentleman - i give you the best singer of our generation! Simply outstanding, i'm forever in love with this womans voice!
Thanx to Steve Whiteman from Kix. Was her vocal coach
The best female Rock vocalist for many years - and she plays too. Great songs, great delivery and passion. What's NOT to like ???
The songs?
@Dave Ferguson The comment is true... but I wold like to add one other vocally talented rocker lady to the list... Floor Jansen is also on par.
I will tell you what's not to like it ends just when you want more.
There is a slight distortion in her voice. Normally more beautiful.
These ladies aren't bad :) - in my opinion of course - have a listen sometime ;

I'm in love with "The Silence" she showed us how talented she really is ❤️
Probably their best song live. When there were here in Boise they performed it right after a short intermission, Lzzy stayed on stage just talking to people while the guys got drinks. She sat down on the edge of the stage to talk, then Joe showed up with his acoustic guitar and sat down next to her and started improving for a few minutes, then all of a sudden they were playing The Silence. It was pretty amazing.
I couldn't tell how long ago it was but I saw them we they were just an unknown bar band playing at Crocodile Rock Cafe in Allentown PA. We went there to see Crystal Roxx, who was a very popular cover band at the time. In between sets, my friend and I went to the down stairs stages. They were playing in an area just a little bigger than a walk in closet with about 10 people watching them. I peeked my head in just to see what was going on, looked at my buddy, and said this is where I am staying for the rest of the night. They are too good to miss!
That version of Amen is immense! Sometimes I worry about the state of modern day rock & roll but the performances like this put my mind at ease. Superb. 🤘🏽🎸
these guys are the exception
the technicality of arejays drumming is unreal n so good he could do a show of his own, the whole band are a force not to be reckoned with
That bass on Do Not Disturb, Uncomfortable, and I Am The Fire! Damn!
*_The quality of it is amazing!! One of the best shows with impeccable audio on UA-cam._*
Halestorm is the most raw real rockin band of this era, would love to get up there and jam with em there living and loving the dream rock on
I ve probably worked 2000 shows as a stagehand and Lizzy Hale has definitely become one of the greatest frontpeopke in fucking history. that's right in history Speaking her mind and really helping people with her words the power in her voice whether singing or speaking. Misery ending is over the top awesome. Thank you to a band that earned thier success one show at a time what 200 times a year?
what a voice, and what a drummer ! love !
My throats hurts just listening to this.
but this technique is painless...Lizzy make it right
@@tommyoster2700 sure?
@@ThiagoMonteiro1984 yeah it's painless. she's a pro
If you study the technique and do it the right way it doesn't hurt
I've still got a guitar pick I caught at this!
Me too! Also got the setlist Joe gave me!
I have mine from two years ago in my wallet from when I saw them live
Still got my stage used drum stick from the show I saw many years ago I also met Arjay and Lizzy that day.
How hard was that to catch?
Same herr
what a voice!! CRAZY !!!
That guitar solo on I Miss The Misery! 🤯 🤘
Every time I think Lzzy can't out-Lzzy herself, she does. Platform hi-heels operating pedals. Yup. I'm imfuckingpressed. Didn't even see that from my place in the crowd
I was there at the front honestly this made my first ever download Halestorm Rocks
Sadly I wasn't at this one but this reminds me so much of seeing them last November, there was a time when the only light was a spotlight on Lzzy as she played her piano and I actually forgot the rest of the audience was there it was like coming out of a dream when the rest of the stage lights came back on. These 4 are phenomenal performers.
I love how she interacts with the crowd!
Been on a Halestorm video binge that last few hours..!! Love Lizzy, such a great entertainer..!!
I think it's impossible to enjoy a live hallestorm concert and not become an unconditional fan. Brutal, awesome, pure rock. I was able to attend their last concert in Madrid and it was absolutely amazing.
Lzzy's voice never fails to amaze me. Damn.
I was here 🤘🏻 If anyone sees someone in a parrot rain poncho during Chemicals, it’s meeeee❤️
I spotted you at 20:58! That poncho is awesome! 🤣
Damn, she really has it *all* , doesn't she!!! I can imagine the confidence she must inspire in any musician going on stage behind Lizzy Hale!
Lzzy Hale is by far the VOICE of Rock. I have no idea how she is able to wail like that. Truly AMAZING.
Now this is what you call ROCK!!! Thanks Halestorm for making my blood 🩸 flow again, thought I was beginning to despair in these unimaginable times.Your passion for the music is truly inspirational! May Rock live on Forever, and you are one sexy ass guitarist, let’s look forward to better times soon.Stay safe and keep ROCK ALIVE!🤟🇬🇧👍
I was there and as usual Halestorm were f**king brilliant !!!
Awesome concert footage. To truly appreciate and enjoy a Halestorm concert, you must see this band live. So much energy and musicianship by the whole band. Straight up rock and roll!!! When things get back to normal, get out and see them. You will not be disappointed!
Her voice is beautiful
Omg!! She's been working miracles with her voice. It seems to be getting better
The voice, the musicianship, the stage presence. Complete package! Tour Aus again please!!!
I can't help but marvel at her playing in those damn shoes, which are, of course, AMAZING!
Blood sweat and tears, they all play with such passion!
We loved seeing them with in this moment it was awesome
My cousin went to their show back East in CT/USA..they were blown away!If they tour out here in Northern CA going to see them!
It's incredible how much of a difference an 'h' can make.....
The above comment is waaay underrated.
Both are great bands
Halestorm formed in 1997. Battleheart formed in 2004, them changed the name to Alestorm in 2007. That debunks whatever you're trying to say with your comment.
@@spartan9199 they're trying to say the addition of the "h" gets you a rock band and the removal of the "h" gets you a pirate metal band.
@@thatguyoverthere531, no. He's trying to say that HALEstorm somehow ripped off Alestorm. Don't try to convince me otherwise.

This was a hell of a set, really set the weekend.
Didn't know Halestorm, clicked on a thumbnail, listened, became a fan of Halestorm! Great show, great voice, great rock'n roll! :)
This band is so good. Seen them a few times, they headlined a racing festival in Charlotte and I was front row for that. Amazing show, and insanely nice people on top of that. This is one of the best I’ve ever seen from them Lzzy really has become a legend so quickly, and Halestorm just keeps getting better.
I listen/watch this recording atleast 1-2x a week. Dying to get back to a show like THIS! *Fingers crossed*
I used to think Halestorm was just ok, and then I watched this. OMG!
You have no ideas how much I thank you for this gem.
This is the best performance from Halestorm I've seen in a while, not to say other were not. This is just a level above and Lzzy sounds insanely good and powerful.
She rocks. The band rocks. Really impressed
I love this girl, i love it😭😭😭
This is one of the best live performances I’ve ever watched. She’s fucking awesome❤️
Nothing beats live in person! My wife and I have seen them atleast 8 times! And will ho to every show within reasonable distance!
Literally, a masterpiece.
So much energy and shining! So powerful vocal of Lzzy! Great Band!
Halestorm is the best thing Live!
Dude, i was here. This is hands down one of the best shows i've ever seen live!!!!!
nevermind. This is infact. The best performance i ever seen live. from any band.
lzzy Hale is the best vocalist of today she beats beyond, depth, volume, extension and a lot of technical mastery.
She is as if Freddie Mercury and Robert Plant had a daughter
She is the last breath for rock n roll, one of the best things that happened to rock, good to see women rocking and having more balls than men.
The acapella Familiar Taste of Poison was just on point. Amazing voice and no tricks just talent
I'm speechless, I just live for this 😱😍
She reminds me of Carrie Hamilton, Carol Burnett's daughter who was a very talented singer and performer / actress back in the 80's. They both got that boisterous thing going on, brash voice and pipes for days. Glad I discovered Lizzy through The Hu collab.
Truly never disappointed!
Unbelievable energy! I'm blown away!
I was at this set, was already a huge fan but this made me into an even bigger fan. Went to an intimate show in Luxembourg 3 days later and then Ally Pally in November last year. Don’t ever stop doing what you are doing Halestorm, you are certainly doing it right 💝
