carburetor is one of the most important part of a vehicle and even a small particle inside the carburetor can create a uneven idling, jerk while riding and in some cases starting problem in the vehicle. In my Honda Activa ,the main jet and pilot jets of the carburetor were badly clogged with the dust particles.The main culprit was the defective Air filter of my Honda Activa.

creating vacuum by using syringe to pump fuel to carb is very good technique and this method will keep you from draining battery if the kickstarter is failed like in my case since it takes long time to send enough fuel to carb to get it worked :), from now on I am going to use this technique, thanks a lot...

Up to certain extent he is correct. No need to open and clean a carburetor unless it is giving some problem.

Excellent explanation 👍. At the end you explained how to remove vaccum from the fuel pipes, for fast starting. Otherwise it takes me more than 1hr kick start, whenever I parks my scooter for 10-15 days.

Sir I have carefully watched your video, and clean my activa old model carburetor yesterday. very well you have described about cleaning process but about seal and gasket change you have not described. Due to which by mistake big seal which was kept in new packet fitted in wrong place after cutting and and pasting in carborater groove. Any way today I will change both seal with new one thanks a lot. Please describe about the setting the carborater for optimum milage. RK SETH lucknow.
