- Carburetor are preset from manufacturers so it need no settings unless overhauled or air screw is replaced. This video is just for knowledge purpose, we do not recommend to adjust carb. For best mileage there are lot more faults in scooters to be checked before touching carb screws. Do check for periodic maintenance for maintaining proper mileage and condition of your scooter.

My Activa 125 bs4 was giving mileage of 37 with new engine oil nd new spark, air filter.
After tuning it is now giving the mileage of 50km/liter, mann I'm really happy with the results 😁

Last 4 year I have a activa 4g but the milage is only 40 to 45 after the proper services in time....
I gave change 2 to 3 mechanic but result is zero.
After watch your this video I have personally setup the carborater and the result is amazing after 2 times of counting the average is approx 56. And the startup problem is solved..

I think the last half a turn of the fuel/air mixture screw (golden) takes a hit on performance.

Thanks for explaining things perfectly. Why did I find black oil leak from my activa 125 shock absorber in the front right side. Front wheel is like that of motorcycle. Is there any danger in riding around?
Shockup has an oil leakage, you'll need to repair it, and do change oil of other shockup too. For balancing

Very nice except there was no need to screw in back of less than 1/2 turn..the RPM & smoothness of acceleration and drop will let you know the settings.
Extra lean mixture heats up spark plug. So it is recommended to turn in quarter turn.
@@indoremechanics Actually best mixture ratio will give very smooth acceleration and lean mixture will run coarse engine..Best way to inspect spark plug after minimum 500 kms it should give brick colour of inner rod with optimal settings..its light grey means lean or dark is rich mixture.
@@lokeshvigil8497 You are right but, Spark plug inner surface will still be white if it's slightly up or down. but you know due companies recommendation we keep quarter turn in.

It is difficult for people to judge RPM and all. Simple tuning procedure is, Keep the air screw full tight , Turn the idling screw to the point where the back wheel just start to rotate ; but not rotating. Now adjust the air screw slowly anticlockwise and see the wheel turning , turn the screw till the wheel rotates fastest, that is the real point where you get good mileage and power.

Visited the workshop of Mr. Rishi Indore Mechanics with my Activa 3G with problems like backfiring and mileage setting n RPM problems I would add one thing is MR. Rishi is on top of his Game n knows What he is doing loved the way he works n staff is also very capable all in all Does a great job Highly Recommended if you want best Maintenence for your two Whealer

How to know the these screws . how to distinguish them in other 2T engine?
Tq vai mine was 37 kmpl. But after doing this it is now giving 47 kmpl approx however I made it done with an expert rather than doing it myself.

Vacuum pipe, se back pressure neutralize hojata he, jiske karan hume proper cumbustion k bare me pata nahi chalta. isliye hum disconnect kr dete he.
jaise sub filter kharab hota he to back fire sound aata he na, and clean kr ke fit krne pe nahi aata. back fire k liye carb setting responsible hoti he.

I open the pilot screw upto the point it doesn't give any starting problem in the morning n doesn't show signs of overloading/ straining while driving. Setting using tachometer might not be recommended for cold starting and especially drivers in a rush who don't let engine warmup.

Hello Bhai mera 2 sawal tha. 1. Tvs jupiter tank me piche gadhha jaisa rehta hai usme kuch petrol bach jata hai, Full reserve khatam hone ka baad bhi,, Usko thik kaise karon. Kyunki utna petrol waste hota hai bole to chalega. 2. Kya Scooty ka mileage ghatta hai kuch din baad? Kyunki jab me tvs jupiter liya tha pehle 52-54 mileage dikha raha tha, phir 49/48, aur phir 44/45. Kaise thik karoon. Sab kuch check kiya, Service bhi kuch din pehle kiya PLEASE REPLY
