Your editing and attention to detail is really hitting the spot for me as I’m trying to build this same sort of cart. I know this is an old video but thank you.
Enjoy watching your videos. I like watching the processes. Your fab skills are great! I'm currently building an off road Kart big block 440 cc Double wishbone fron t suspension. the design element I wanted to describe is the pivot for the spindles. Consider pivoting the spindle on a bolt through the Hiem joints. I made a 5/8 inch pin and machined a 6x 1.25 inch bar bored for the pin . It was then a simple matter to bolt the bar between the Hiem joints. Weld the spindles and steering arms directly to the bar. Plusses " king pin axis is closer to the hub ( helps with ackerman. Simplicity, Fewer parts. No clearance issues with steering arms. This may not be atractive to you but it seemed to work well here. The design process is lots of fun.
I like your builds and the way you explain things, it looks to me that you are using a flux core welder, i like the one i have, i got it from harbor freight, its automatic 215,weldes almost as clean as gas, if you slow your wire speed down just a little, your welding will penetrate better and lay down much better
I wish you were my neighbor. I just ordered a new Amico Pro 200 stick welder, my AC unit only runs 3/32 6013. What do you run for the majority of your welds? Did you swap out the standard tie rods for the rack and pinion? I wouldn't mind converting mine, but since I did the center seat conversion I'm not sure which set to buy. I need roughly 16 inches on both sides from the spindle to the pitman arm bolt.
Right?! Surprisingly our current neighbors like us too haha, I'm running a Lincoln SP-100 mig that's as old as me. I made the tie rods myself in the video out of some tubing and heim joints off amazon!
@@TyranisCustoms I just found the cache of heim joints, tie rod ends and more at my local hardware store/tack shop/propane and grain emporium (lol), turns out living in an area with satellite farms and equestrian enthusiasts has it's benefits after all! Apparently fixing farm implementation yourself is still live and well in some parts of our great country. 👍
I bought a all stock 3203 , only change was a predator 212 . We have been riding it a few months and the motor is now bad . Wanting to strip this thing down and make it like yours !! But curious what that would cost . Thanks !
I make our tie rods to be adjustable, and most stock go karts come that way. Check out my video on adjusting your tie rods and "toe", that might help! ua-cam.com/video/tcJr_zvzY0A/v-deo.html

Love that steering
It feels just as clean as it looks! Huge upgrade over even the other rack we used in my dad's kart! He's getting upgraded very soon😎
“We’re gonna be gig welding today” EHEH EHEH EHEH 👨🏻
Someday I'm gonna make Tré carry a whole episode and just see what happens 😂😂
@@TyranisCustoms there will be a lot of vomit on the set😂

Its a mig! So instead of the flux there's a shielding gas. I have your same harbor freight flux core welder too though!
Thankyou mate! Some links to the components you are using would be awesome! Thanks for your efforts, from Australia 🇦🇺
"Better safe than sorry!" 2 minutes later: *drift lock ummm...😅
It's weird I am mounting the same exact tires (only smaller) on my mini bike today!
Thats sick! I love these SunFs

How much to rebuild my yerf 3203 like this one 😂🙏🏻
For real , how much do you have in your red cart build ??
Once it's all done and I price it out that may be a real possibility haha. You're not the first person to have asked 😎🦖
