0:19 I absolutely love the gag of Kinger throwing a lifesaver at Pomni, as if she's drowning. He's disconnected from what's happening around him but he's still trying to help.
then gooseworx follows up on the gag by having Kinger throw an entire anchor at pomni. Genius writing.

kafumos funeral is for some reason my favorite scene its really sad and wholesome for me 😢
I think what makes it sadder is that Kaufmo thought everyone hated him and here everyone is talking about the good about him.
Pomni, who never met Kaufmo outside of his abstracted form can't connect to the others in that sense.
I know what it feels like to go to a funeral for a person you've never known personally but was still a relative regardless.
It feels empty, you don't know what to do really.
Listening to others talk about the deceased with such wonderful words and experiences they had with them just made it worse.
You feel like you don't belong there, not having any emotional connection with the person who passed on.
It's just an eerie feeling really. Hard to describe, as if you wished you couldve at least knew them somehow but all that's left is nothingness.

I also love how they decided to go on a slightly different direction from DHMIS.
Kaufmo’s funeral is sad, but also shows Pomni that they care for each other (and hopefully, by extension, her), contrary to the intro where she thought not even Ragna, RAGNA, gave a Skaven ass about her (despite the pilot essentially being Ragna trying to help her out.)
If this was DHMIS, the episode would had cut at Cain erasing the gummy gator, perhaps even at Pomni losing it.

I loved the funeral scene so much...
It showed that all of them actually cared about kaufmo... Even Jax cared....(Even tho I didn't quite see him in the funeral)
Not only that, in the beginning, pomni thought the others wouldn't care if she abstracted... Now looking at them when they did the funeral for kaufmo even though they acted as if they hated him.... Pomni realized they will not desert her ....

I don't think Jax cared cause he didn't seem interested or comfortable with going. That or he feels guilty for pranks he pulled on him
One thing I did notice though is that in Pomni's flashback to her dreams where they all catch her, Jax's hand is the only one not present. I hope there's an episode where Pomni and Jax become friends or at least Jax makes her feel like he has her back
It’s sweet scene too because I think I remember Goose saying on tumblr that Ragatha and him didn’t get along well. Also Gangle with saying that she’s worried that since she didn’t laugh at his jokes that he was mad at her. But regardless even if they got along or not….the fact is that they do care that he’s gone enough to properly mourn him at a funeral.
@@CairaAke22I think people are getting “Jax cared” because when the funeral is brought up he looks noticeably sad before shaking his head and wandering off somewhere. I don’t think that was about Kaufmo though…
Honestly I wish Gooseworx hadn't designed Jax with the express intent of making him irredeemable, deserving of being trapped there, and only there to get worse and worse. Apparently she finds it attractive, but feels like a missed chance. I hope the rest of the staff can hae a go at bending that premise.
@gabrote42 I'm not sure it's an attraction, per say. You wouldn't like a jerk in real life, but writing a jerk character in a story is a ton of fun, because it means there's very few limitations to what they can say or do.

I don’t think he wants npcs in the circus at all from what I’m getting
what if Gummigoo was in every Cain adventure then at the end Cain always kills Gummigoo. But for one episode Cain forgets to add Gummigoo then at the end Cain remembers Gummigoo so he spawns him in just to kill him.
Or just for 1 episode, spawn Gummigoo in and kill him immediately in a brutal way just to mess with the Gummigoo fans.
By his reaction, he probably tried before and uh. Bad things happened

The fact that its called "Gummigoo's death lol"
I believe that at the end,the hands grabbing her are Ragatha, Zooble, Gangle and Kinger. If you look close enough, you can see that the main hand that had all the other hands attached to it does look similar to Ragatha’s hand. If you look at the blue looking hand with the yellow ball on it, it does kinda look disfigured, like Zobble’s hand. If you look closely, you can kinda see Gangles red ribbon hand holding onto Ragatha’s hand aswell. Kingers hand is on the left side of all the other hands, so it might kind of be hard to see it and it has a white glove and it detached from the body, so I believe that hand is Kingers. *This is js my opinion*

1:10 I wanna put a camera on Jax's head. He's a perfect camera-stabilizer.
I think 0:21 is my favorite part of the episode. It's so fast, but the little "eh" and Pomni's expression is just really funny to me.
Thats my favorite bit from the whole episode. When the truck is jerking around from the rocks and Jax's head basically turns into a gyroscope

The OST absolutely is incredible
The funeral was a very touching moment. It helps realize that all of them are trapped in this prison forever but at least they have eachother for help.

I absolutely love storyboards, especially when there are so many correspondeces to the actual product, and doubly so in cases like Mr. Greg in Steven Universe where they reanimate parts of the sequence in response to events or feedback. But1:53 is a _MASSIVE_ improvement. I adore it.

Agreed lol most of the time when I see the storyboards for a 3D show/film (most of Disney’s newer ones lol) I think to myself that I wish the whole movie could’ve been done that way because it looks way more expressive. With this it looks JUST like the 2D storyboards but in 3D

I love the way these are drawn. Clean art, interesting weighed linework, expressive and fun. No wonder the 3D animation came out so good, these boards are awesome.
I got to say episode two was so incredible and it was so amazing to see new characters in it.
I absolutely loved watching this episode. The animation, especially at the beginning of the episode, I find so unique, and the fact it was purposefully made to look like a video game is one of the reasons why I love animations like this. Sunset Paradise remains one of my favorite UA-cam original animations for this reason, but with how The Amazing Digital Circus' story is growing, how we're seeing more character and world development, it could quickly become my all time favorite.
I really love storyboards
I just realized that Zooble's... I don't know, antennae? Are different in episode 2 because the one on the right is a yellow cone-like shape where on the pilot it was a zebra-stripe 'Y' shape. And also her chest/shoulder piece is different because it was a blue ring in the pilot but now it's another zebra-stripe square tile.
Zooble in pilot aka episode one gets taken apart. Because they’re a mix and match toy meaning they can change body parts.

I love watching the shots Kevin Temmer animated and seeing how he adds onto the storyboards, he really knows what he's doing
Honestly don't know why they added the pizza tower taunt in the show, but I love it.
1:14-1:15 was one of my favorite parts from this episode, it’s such a cute little moment :)
