I don’t know your line of work, @dimaknopf, but in movies, the reasons behind failures can be very complex. For example, maybe the direction and acting are top-notch, but the script is so awful that the movie flops-or vice versa. Experts can recognize this and give second chances to those who deserve them. By the way, if you feel like your failures are burying you, it might help to step back and analyze. Do you learn from them? Do you change your approach based on what you’ve learned? I’m struggling like anyone else, and I’ve failed a lot too, so I’m not trying to play the wise guy here. But when I look at my failures from a distance, I can see they’ve actually helped me a lot.
He must really like Russell Crowe. There are at least 5 movies staring Russell Crowe that he directed: 1. Gladiator, 2. American Gangster, 3. A good year, 4. Robin Hood, 5. Body of lies.
Some directors have actors that they have good chemistry with so they call on them alot. Example Tim Burton have Johnny Depp in alot of his films. Steven Spielberg works alot with Tom Cruise. Spike Lee with Denzel Washington. Just to name a few duos
@@BoxOfficeJoe I mean their movies they made even before they started making movies for the big screen. For example Nolan's short "Doodlebug" from 1997
Mr Ridely Scott Flexing with his Latina Wifey! Great Director but sometimes is off with his real life counterpart Films its Hit or Miss with the Prolific OG director like Mr Scott! His Younger Brother Tony Scott was a bit better than him when it Comes to a films storyline and Resolution! Prometheus was not Good at all though the Performance of Micheal Fassbender as Droid David was Awesome and just down right the Character Diabolical! The Alien Franchise The First one and then moving Forward his career has been okay up until this point!
Idk how people get second chances after losing a company millions. Feels like every failure I've had just burys me further and further.

Black Rain is fantastic! 😎
Thank you for creating this and answering my request. Appreciate you.
Glad you liked it, @RonnyParham! It was my pleasure-I'm a fan 😁
Legend is very underrated. Very good movie & special effects for it's time (1985)

Gladiator 2 is still out in UK cinemas
It's so sad that The Last Duel was a flop. It was such a great movie.
Can you do Clint Eastwoods directed films?
Would be cool if u could somehow show their projects before they got to the box office.
@bobsimpson9228 You mean their upcoming movies?

Nice touch to add earnings in today (2025) dollars!
Thank you, @CamFamX2! I’m glad you liked it.
Keanu reeves and Sandra bullock
Both are on my to-do list, @outrageoustv3594, so stay tuned! 😉
Nice new touch with HIS BIGGEST FAILURE 😅✌✌✌
Thanks for the feedback, @MihaiRiz1! I’m glad you liked it! I might make it a regular thing from now on.

He must have invested his money wisely if his net worth is $400 Million and he brought in $258 Million.
These are just movies he has directed. He's also been involved in numerous successful TV shows for which I'm sure he was paid well.
This is just box office paychecks. He still get royalties from all
these films and for stuff like Alien, it’s just a money making machine.
@@THEFORCEboston Okay, Okay I get it. Lol
So many flops
