Learned so many things. I used autocad before but when I installed chief architect I was a little bit nervous because of the different workings tools on chief architect. But now its seems so easier than autocad 😍 Thanks a lot for this lesson
Hello Andrew. I tried your method with regards to the columns and what I'm getting is, a space between the columns and ceiling. I do not want to extend the columns all the way to the ceiling but rather for there to be a wall in that space.
I have this software and when I take a camera shot of views of building to send to a layout it turns into a black negative of floor plan. Do you have any help for that?
After 20 years of software and design evolution, still chief architect shows his default on material as a 1960 house 😂. As in his first originator software 3d home architect

You have to turn on "View" then click on "Temporary Dimensions" if your wall lengths aren't showing up. ;-)
