I love the scene from The Web of Fear where the Doctor and Jamie are eating sandwiches in the Tardis. I'd like to bet that Patrick Troughton and Fraser Hines came up with that and persuaded the director to let them do it. They had such a great relationship. Jamie is one of the Doctor's very best companions.
I thought the most recelebrated Doctor was Tom Baker, considering how popular he is out of all the Classic Doctors? Well, at least Patrick Troughton is usually right behind; I'm glad he's still a very well-loved Doctor. He's one of my favourites too.
“A smooth takeoff?!” “It’s so simple only you could have thought of it.” “Look busy!” “Just act stupid.” “Jamie has an idea. Come along.” *A lot of running.* So it seems that NuWho Doctors channel Two as much, if not more than the others. Lovely!
One and my top #1 Doctor, it is insulting and damaging that the majority of Troughton's work is lost by the BBC!!! I am lucky and excited that the Enemy of the World and Web of Fear minus 3rd episode is recovered. I was hoping more of the 2nd Doctor's stories are both recovered and returned! One of these days, The Power of the Daleks, the Highlander and Evil of the Daleks will all be returned and completed for future generations to enjoy!
I know right. They should of never gone and wiped all those tapes from Doctor Who and other BBC shows at the time. If we had a TARDIS WE COULD STOP THEM. At least there are the reconstructions available to watch on UA-cam.
Awonycoy Huggywuggy Jamie told him to try a smooth take off, as if he thought the Doctor wasn't capable enough to pull off a smooth take off, of course the doctor took offence to this, the next line is the doctor shouting, "A SMOOTH TAKE OFF?", while looking really offended
Jamie: "Try to take a smooth take off, Doctor. We don't want to frighten her." The Doctor, with an indignant grumpy face: "A smooth take off? A SMOOTH TAKE OFF?! What a nerve!"
Though I was alive when Troughton 'Who' was first broadcast, sadly I never got to see him first time around due to familial TV policy. I had to wait until 'Day of the Daleks' to be permitted to watch the show. What I have seen latterly of Pat's era is sublime. Though I love the Pertwee era, 'my' Doctor will always be Tom (with Liz at is side) - but Pat (with Jamie) would be a very strong contender had I seen him 'live', so to speak. P.S. WONDERFUL VIDEO!!! :-)
Ian Heier I'm 12 and I own every episode apart filrome some of the missing ones I also have the episode were he meets Jon pertwee in the 3 Dr with William hartnell he is the BEST DR WHO ever
Ooh great job I love this video! :-) I love Two so much he's such an adorable space dork and this video makes me really happy (also makes me miss Jamie & Zoe)
SPOILERS. Don't read if you don't actually want to know their fate. Seriously. Spoilers. We're going River Song up in here. Victoria had enough of traveling with the Doctor and decided to stay put. The Doctor asked the Harrises if they would look after her and they agree. Jamie has a sad goodbye with her and pouts for a bit. Then he and the Doctor take off in the TARDIS. Zoe and Jamie met the Time Lords for the first time. The Doctor had to call them in to fix what the War Chief (another Time Lord) had done - which was take humans out of their time and use them to fight fake battles to determine the best warriors. The Doctor knew that he would be captured and brought to trial, but he called them in anyway and tried to run away in the TARDIS. Once he accepted his fate, he was forced to say goodbye to Zoe and Jamie - who were being returned to their own time. Now, since the Time Lords are bastards, they wiped Zoe and Jamie's memories so that they only remember their first adventure with the Doctor. So Jamie remembers fighting with the Doctor, but he never entered the TARDIS. And Zoe said goodbye to Jamie and the Doctor in her timeline.
TheDutchOwner's Tech Channel - Part of TheDutchOwner's Technology Empire Unless you subscribe to the season 6B theory, in which the Time Lords delayed the sentencing in exchange for Two doing missions for the Celestial Intervention Agency. Somewhere along the line, Two, annoyed by the CIA and the Time Lords, kind of just started doing his own thing again so they decided to just shoot him and exile him to Earth.
Two and Jamie are neither my favorite Doctor or my favorite companion but god! The two of them together is just magnificent! Best team in DW.

I agree.
They're always scarfing down whatever food is unattended.
We need a Second Doctor/Scooby-Doo crossover.
Patrick Troughton and Jamie best combination ever.
"Look Jamie! Sandwiches!"
The most often recelebrated Doctor, a man after my own hearts, very good tribute.

My favorite doctor out of them all 😏😏
i wish we could have seen all his episodes. its sad how many are gone

Kam Zeng Troughton has been my favorite ever since I saw "The Tomb of the Cybermen".
Audio remains for things like the highlanders so it would be awesome if they could animate it like episodes 1 and 3 of the Moonbase
They have audio for everything...unfortunately animating is expensive and the studio that was doing their recons in the past fell apart.
Best Doctor EVAR, no arguments!
Definitely one who would run around like a seeming idiot until his enemies had formed a circular firing squad and then hit the floor.
Really great but Harntell is god
