You may be a "beginner" doing these videos as you say, but I think you are so informative, easy to follow, and just... well...keep doing what you are doing. Loving it. Thank you.
I was just thinking about the shaded space between the house and tall hedge: If you trim the hedge like the edge of a serrated kitchen knife, calloped like on a bread knife, you could get a lot more light into the area but still retain a lot of the privacy you had before.
Regarding 'weed tea' fertilizer - once you've strained the liquid out, firmly press the strained material into egg cartons & let dry completely=you've made yourself natural fire lighter pellets 😊 simply cut the entire tray of egg carton into individual sections and keep in a dry airtight container or ziplock bag and use to easily light the bbq thru summer 🌞
The weed fertiliser is something I've never heard of before but it's such a great idea. I'm keen to follow along with your Internet's garden bed series on tiktok!
I got a lot of cardboard...it does work for weed suppression....but in southwest Geogia USA they bring earwigs, roaches, rollie pollies just to name a few.
Great video! If you can, I would always make sure to remove any celotape from cardboard boxes to avoid having plastics in your garden beds 😊. Depending on the strength of your weed fertiliser, it might be a good idea to dilute it with water, especially if it has been left for a few months, just so you dont burn any plants - I think I have seen others recommend 1 part fertliser 10 parts water or something similar? Really enjoyable video and channel!
Definitely ask your fellow gardeners for seeds!! We all have SO MANY. Conversely, if you live in a place like the south-central US, you may need to find places where NOT to place your plants because the sun ☀️ is absolutely BRUTAL 😅 I'm originally from up north, where the sun is a blessing, and down here I have LEARNED my lesson about the benefit of shade lines!
Thanks for the great informative video . I’m new to gardening and learning heaps through youtube videos plus making my own mistakes . Currently struggling with keeping cutworms from cutting/eating my freshly planted spinach and bok choy seedlings. Any advice on how to control cutworms?
I am a new to gardening and live in Melbourne. This have been great videos for me, so thank you for the uploads. I just have one question, can I use cardboard that has been printed on, like Lego boxes and Beer boxes?

I personally take all the plastic tape off my boxes because of doesn’t break down (past experience of finding bits of tape EVERYWHERE)
Yeah you absolutely should. I do too, i just don't show you that in the video 🙈

My mother taught me!😅
Ouch, outro music was too loud for me and my headphones… love the content though
I take off plastic tape and leave out cardboard with a lot of coloured ink. Apparently black ink is okay.
Now.
Let's talk about tobacco
