I don't understand why Altered Beast gets so much hate. It was a really good game. I remember seeing it at our local arcade and me and my friends played the daylights out of it. Later when the Genesis was released here in the States, having Altered Beast as a pack-in game was freaking awesome. However, my all time favorite game for the Genesis is a tie between Revenge of Shinobi and Streets of Rage. I made the dumb decision selling my Genesis in 1993 to buy a new monitor for my Amiga 500 so any game release for the Genesis I experienced after that time was either at a friend's house or later in emulation.
That's my case, Altered Beast was included with the console and I played once and again with my brother, so it brings me really good memories. IMO Genesis Altered Beast maybe is not the best arcade's adaptation and because of that gets so much hate. I also selled a bunch of classic games in late 90s (to buy more games haha) and that torments me nowaday.
I loved Centurion: Defender of Rome. I sank hundreds of hours into it, conquered the whole map, made love to Cleopatra, and yet never got the title of Caesar.
As a Simpsons' child fan I enjoyed all franchise's games. But now as an adult I see the vs. Space mutants one is not so good. Why Konami didn't make an adaptation of his Simpsons arcade beat'em up?
A lot of these were decent rentals. Some are even hidden gems. Some are disappointing sequels (not so much bad, just not as good as the original). Budokan required the manual to be able to play it, but wasn't bad at all. Altered Beast I thought was brilliant at the time; especially if you liked the arcade game. At least you didn't list something like Dark Castle. 😅
@@MakaimuraKiu I tried it recently and still couldn't really get into it to be honest. I don't think it's bad, might even be a lot of fun for those people who can enjoy it fully, but it wasn't for me.
Even if the game was bad, I love the soundtrack from the genesis versión of batman returns Too bad the sound effects are awfull and interrupt the music
As a Batman fan I played the first part (based on Tim Burton's movie) on Genesis and I liked it so much that I bought Batman Returns without thinking twice and I enjoyed. But I must recognise the first part is much better.

Ok, man... I used to like Fighting Masters, Pelé Soccer and will always advocate that Countdown to Doomsday is the best Mega Drive RPG
It doesn't matter graphics or sound the important thing is you enjoy playin it.
I loved Fantasia game when i was children, so scary and darkness.
To me it was a bit of a weird game, but graphically it was cool.

Art of Fighting? I prefer the Genesis version over the Neo Geo.
Why? It is not a good adaptation, and Neo Geo's one is almost 1:1 of arcade.

Where is the voice over?
I can not speak so in my first videos I used voice generation software but I received some comments telling me they don't like it so I gave up.
