I used to be obsessed with meteorology, especially natural disasters like tornadoes. If this came out when I was 8, I probably would’ve watched this trailer like 30 times everyday and then BEGGED my parents to let me see the movie. And although weather isn’t my passion anymore, I definitely want to see this.
Bro my who life I’ve been terrified of tornadoes cause I watched the original twister movie and now if I see one I wanna see it from a distance in a field but up close and personal with no escape you can count me out 😂
I'm big into weather and I want to storm chase and make a impact in people's life I can tell you that the original was more realistic it seems like cuz this trailer looks like they made it too unrealistic and I would of liked it of they really based it off real events and then I would of prolly got chills from it rheu need make it like the real thing like the real thing they made it to actiony and cool and like I said unrealistic
I already know the movie is gon be good, but the songs on the soundtrack?!? That’s gonna be the best part imo. Like seriously they got Luke combs, Bailey Zimmerman, Miranda lambert, Thomas Rhett, Warren zeiders, jelly roll, Lainey Wilson, Kane brown, and a lot more. I can’t wait!!
@@haydenmoore-hc2gs I have no doubt that it’s gonna be fun and entertaining. The problem I am running into is that none of the original chasers are in the film. I’m still gonna go see it
People who recommend that were familiar, part of taking cover under a bridge is getting under the rafters at either end. If you are familiar with the Venturi effect you’ll know that’s where the least flow will be
I was looking for this comment, used to live in oklahoma, and those bridges were the most dangerous place to take shelter from tornados. You had a higher survival chance just laying in the drainage ditches then under those death traps.
@@DanShowandTell Taking cover under an overpass is the worst thing you can do. The Venturi effect will accelerate the winds to even higher velocities and pressure will drop even more. Really bad idea.
@@oscarmedina1303 in the wide open center of the over pass yes, at the edges near the top, and downwind no. Take a look at a Venturi sim and you’ll see where the highest and lowest velocities are.
Disrupt a tornado? Man... Can we just stick with the original premise? Gather data for science and understanding while finding yourself in incredibly dangerous situations... You know, storm chasing?
I just hope its not too trash. Nothing could beat the original. I watched it as a 13 yr old and it had me on the edge of my seat with sweaty palms lol It looks like they are trying to go big but they dont need to.
Nothing like a town where things that should not be built in "Tornado Alley" are constructed in "Tornado Alley". "Let's ride the tornado out in the tractor blade storage area"!
It was a sequel. Got changed to a “standalone sequel” ala Home Alone 3 or Tokyo Drift. Yawn. I’m kinda excited still. Because I’ve wanted a real sequel. But im excited because my expectations are almost 0 so it’s got a chance of being better than I expect.
Looks cheesy as hell like some sort of tornado themed "The day after tomorrow" I cant wait to see it in theatres im guessing the sound mix is gonna be pretty decent. (Minus the weird tiger roar for the tornado)
Ain't gonna lie. I thought the first scene at that rodeo was some alien invasion. 😅 how does that just pop up outta no where Side note: I see alot of stuff from the first movie just reworked/moved some characters around for this movie. But oh yeah as they keep saying "it has nothing to do with the first movie"
They lost me with the fireworks. That was so unrealistic, I was going to give it a chance. But that was already a slim chance. I want Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton back!
I'm utterly obsessed with the original movie. Probably seen it 2-300 times. It was more realistic and worldly based. The reactions to incredible things that can happen, like a boat flying past would make you go "whoaa" like Bill Paxton did, a Petrol tanker about to blow up in front of you would make you gasp, drive through it, and be totally begast afterwards. In these modern takes, everything is something absurd falling towards them and they go into this "badass" athletic mode and parkour out of the situation like they do it all the time. It's so fucking stupid and unrealistic, it makes it so lame and forgettable that it doesn't measure up to the realism of the first. Add to that, recycling the original tropes and none of the original cast, you have yourself a "disaster" movie, alright. I will give it a shot, but I honestly think, judging by the trailer, this will be the 28 years too late sequel nobody asked for.
in the original they were chasing the mile wide F5, one that killed her pop in '69, 27-28 years prior to 1996 (original twister movie release year). It is now 28 years later again 2024. Did they wait on purpose to make this movie?
Shoulda brought helen hunt back. Had their kid be obsessed with twisters and go in that type of direction. Have Bill Paxton die from whatever but pay his tribute in a way...but they shoulda kept it close.
They could have done more better than that they should have at least do it like the original but they could have least take it to where we take place after number one

that was the most drooling part

The first twister film was awesome with bill Paxton and Helen hunt, and the rest of the crew

Don't forget to watch the first one
Bill Paxton is sorely missed even more than before after watching this trailer.
So is Philip Seymour Hoffman (Dusty)
@@PrenticeJones-fh2ewdo you know what I just realized remember it being called back again part 2

Flaming tornados are cool, but can you throw in some sharks? 🙃
That's the sequel.
Let's call it "Sharknado" 🤔
You all know that flaming tornadoes are real right? They do actually happen.
Somehow I feel like shooting fireworks at a tornado from the back of a Dodge Ram is a regular thing down in Oklahoma 🤔
It sounds like something they’d do yet so felt so unrealistic in the trailer lol
I saw the set every day on the way to work
It looks pretty good,i just hope it doesn't disappoint.
I loved the line, "We're going to disrupt the tornado and save the planet, but getting a nuke into it's core and detonating it."
I was literally thinking what if this tornado is bigger than El Reno and then I seen the water tower 🤯
I saw that and wondered if they were doing the El Reno tornado. It would certainly give them a lot of material to work with.
YES I WANT TO SEE THIS! I LOVE TWISTER!!!!
Glen Powell, the poor man's Ryan Gosling.
😂😂why did I say " is that Ryan?" 😂😂😂

That 'No, stop' was directed at the tornado.
And so defiant it was to not listen immediately to the shrill white girl

Hope there’s some sort of nod to Phillip Seymour Hoffman in the film - what a ledge, gone too soon!!
And Bill Paxton. RIP.
Must see in IMAX! Looking forward to it. Luke Combs wrote a great song for the movie too. No surprise, he doesn't write a bad song.
I think that truck was inspired by Tornado Hunters
I can't wait for thissss. Only few more weeks and it'll be in cinemas, so few months and hopefully they stream it on Netflix or Now TV or something ❤
Will there be a steak scene?!
Right lol
I’m pumped for this movie Yall
