My girlfriend has this turtle named tucker, he's this russian tortoise who gets into SO much trouble it's hilarious. He actually escaped once and she couldn't find him. I had a tortoise when I was a little boy he was given to me by a family who is moving overseas. We were military. When we moved to Maryland we gave him to another family. His name was traveling Sam. He would escape from time to time but people would always bring him home.
My husband when he was 8 like 55 years ago was given a tortoise, after having him a few weeks , his sister said to him you should keep the tortoise clean, he said how it’s always going in water, she said you shOuld oil it to keep its shell nice, what did my young hubby do? He put oil up its nostrils and that was the end of Torty Tortoise. Obviously when his sister saw Torty he wasn’t moving at all, as slow as he went, she said I thought you were going to oil him he looks dull, he said, I did and he showed her where he oiled him, Well the rest I leave to your imagination. We laugh about it sometimes, it wasn’t funny for Torty or young hubby. I will add young hubby is now old husband just as daft to this day.

To tucker out an opal you have to look it in the eye and tell it that you are the boss you have to care for in and polish it until it is a gem that shines the way you knew it could and would. You love it and name it, even if it fights you and deems itself unworthy of attention and care. You tucker out the opal with compassion and love. Loving it as much as you love a child.
There was once an old farmer whose only virtue was 3 beautiful daughters. One night, they were all going out on dates with their respective beaus. Another 10 minutes go by, and there’s a 3rd knock. “Hi, my name’s Tucker…” And before he can say another word, the farmer grabs him by the neck, drags him out the back, and shoots him.
