Product Profile: MEGUIAR'S HYBRID CERAMIC WAX
Waxing your car often gets a hard time for being a time-consuming process, but what if we told you it was possible to wax a car in the same time it takes to quick detail one? That’s exactly what we’ve achieved with the new Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Wax, it’s all down to the new SiO2 hybrid technology. This delivers ceramic wax protection but without the need for buffing - simply spray onto your paintwork while you rinse off your car. It might just be the easiest way for superior paint protection with minimal work!
In this video we run through how best to apply the new Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Wax for the first time, how to apply on subsequent washes, as well as looking at the instant effect it has after application.
For the absolute best results, we recommend applying two coats on panels. Simply apply while the car is still wet (after rinsing off any suds), dry it off with a clean Drying Towel, apply water once again before repeating the process. Used this for the first time today , great shine on both my black car and my wife’s red car 😁 this stuff is really good 👍
I’ve been lucky enough I live in the states and I’ve seen this all over UA-cam with big channels talking about it. So obviously I wanted to try it so I went online and either it was sold out or just to high of shipping for me to warrant buying it. So I waited and one day I was in my local Walmart took a walk down the car detailing section as they always are putting new stuff in it and BAM there are two bottles just sitting there. Bought both followed the directions and boy was I happy stuff works amazing and it’s easy to apply which is always great because less work you got to do. Yes you won’t get the durability like a real deal ceramic coating but it’s cheaper and works amazing!
..but do you think its more durable then there liquid waxes?

How strong of a stream do we need? Used it for the first time yesterday on my black car and it got crazy streaky and just looks terrible. I am thoroughly disappointed. I used a regular garden hose with a nozzle on the jet setting. My car already has a true ceramic coating as well. Do you need to use a pressure washer?

Is there any products you guys make that I can use to enhance the gloss on top of your ceramic hybrid wax?
We would suggest to get the gloss levels to their best before applying the Hybrid wax. Whatever you put on last is protection for the car to keep in that gloss.
Try using there new 3 n 1 cleaner wax..that will slight correct your paint..depending on how bad paint is of course it will give it pop..then go ahead and apply this...and you will already have a base coat..so jus spray on and rinse off

Is this safe for use on windows? I’ve had issues with my wipers juddering before because of wax based products getting on to my windscreen
Completely safe to use on windows. However to get the best finish on glass we would suggest our Perfect Clarity Glass Sealant
Hi. Is this product safe on plastic surfaces such as headlamps and reflectors?
absolutely. applied directly to the paint work when rinsed off wont affect plastics or rubber.

Can you replace ordinary wax like Ultimate Paste or Liquid Wax with this Ceramic wax?

You seem to be putting a great deal on compared to Gyeon Wetcoat, Carpro Hydro2 Lite and AutoFinesse Aquacoat. Is that really necessary? With those it's recommended at under 100ml per car. Looking forward to trying it.
With every application 3-4 sprays will cover a bonnet. As it was a filming day this may have been slightly more.

The protection last 12-14 weeks. If you wanted to use it every wash you could.

Can I apply the first/foundation layer over dry paint?
I know it's against Meguiar's recommendation.
You are correct, we do not recommend this product be used on dry paint. Quite a bit of water is needed to both dilute and spread the product. You may have a very difficult time with application and removal otherwise.
Can this be done post swirl compounding with your cutting compound, with subsequent polishing with a DA, as you recommend waxing after, would this be an ok substitute?

Absolutely. The primary stages of clay and compounding will help improve the final finish. After compounding the car, hose it down and follow the application steps with the ceramic wax to get a fantastic finish.
Does your car need claying before this is put on?
No not necessarily. If you were looking to kick start the summer with a deep scrub then i'd suggest our Wash Plus.
Meguiar's UK ok thank you for the reply I’ll be getting some of that today,something else I’d like to no,wen using your ultimate compound to get ride of some light swerl marks do i use the white pad on my DA? That’s the only thing I’m unsure of and that what pad to use for what job,atm iv got auto finesse pads 1 red and 1 orange,red is for polishing so iv been told like wen using triple or glaze and orange iv been told i can use with ultimate compound,what’s your advice for me please?

@@tonylyons9727 Not a problem. So the Yellow pad is for the Ultimate Polish and the Black is for wax.
With the price being one of the most expensive piece, you have to spray the product twice? LOL. Imagine using this on a midsize suv
Nah you don’t spray it twice. The first time you use it you spray it on while wet then dry it. The next time you use it you just spray it on while wet then spray it off.
