Egg - 2
Sugar - 3 tsp
Maida - 3 tsp
Milk - 3 tsp
Vinegar - 1 tsp
Vanilla essence
Hi everyone, today I am here with a simple and easy snack recipe which you can make using the things you can easily find in your kitchen..
First, separate the yolk and whites from two eggs into separate bowls..
First, in the bowl containing the egg yolks, add three teaspoons of plain flour through a sieve, and 3 teaspoons of milk and whisk it really well until it forms a smooth mixture and set aside.
Next, add a teaspoon of vinegar or a teaspoon of lime juice to the egg whites and start beating it with an electric beater or a hand whisk on low speed first. To the egg whites, we need to incorporate 3 teaspoons of powdered sugar, in batches.
Do not add all the sugar in a go, add gradually in three batches of a tsp each.
Keep beating using the better until the egg whites start to turn very fluffy and form stiff peaks.. You will know if it’s done when the mixture doesn’t fall off from the bowl when you invert bowl..
When the egg whites are done, combine the egg yolk mixture using a folding motion and a spatula in batches without disturbing the softness of the egg whites .. do this process very slowly, carefully and with patience.
Take your time with us and gently incorporate all the egg yolk mixture with the egg white mixture and finally add a few drops of vanilla essence for flavour and fold it in.. this can be done in three or four batches.
When the batter is ready, Shita pan on a medium flame and grease the pan with some butter and then or dollops on top of each other of the door as you can see in the video and then close it with a dome shaped lid..
Add a quarter teaspoon of water on the sides of the pan and keep it close so that the snack can bake in the pan.
Let the snack cook on each side for around four minutes on a very low flame.
When one side is done, carefully and very slowly flip it and cook on the other side as well..
When both the sides turn golden and the inside is cooked, serve it with a small piece of butter on the top..!!
