Definitely 3 Minutes to Midnight! My most anticipated adventure game of the year (along with The Crimson Diamond). Honestly due to the very long radio silence and slow updates I too honestly started to question whether this game was ever gonna come out. And I pledged a hefty sum for a physical big boxed edition of the game during the Kickstarter, so naturally I felt a little anxious. But it's finally here and it looks great, so all is good!
@@bd2864 You mean how long the radio silence was? Months at times. The longest one, based on the dates of the Kickstarter update emails sent by them, being over a year which they finally broke this July.
@@bd2864 I don't think there has ever been an official initial release date announced for the game until this July unless I missed it. As for the physical products; they'll be done and sent after the game's digital release, so those will come later. Which is normal for crowdfunded games. I'd not be surprised if they're delivered to backers as late as early next year.
There's always something magical that warms your heart when you enjoy a good point and click adventure game. No other genre can achieve that and that's a fact!
even more than with RPGs, i find i get sucked into the world and atmosphere with adventure games, i feel the most like I'm in the role of the protagonist than any other genre
As the Leaves Fall has an incredible look! Pixelated, but high color, and with gorgeous lighting. The voice actor's performance sounded really cheap though. 3 minutes to midnight looks absolutely nuts in the best way possible.
I've played Devil's Hideout and 3 Minutes to Midnight so far. Cosmic Void know how to make some nice games and Devil's Hideout is no exception. As for 3 Minutes to Midnight, it's a game with a cool art, funny jokes, etc but just one thing so you could get how long it is: video walkthrough is 12 hours. And it took me ~35 hours to complete it in a streamer mode, so if you prefer longer games it's your choice. And tomorrow I start playing Broken Sword.
Yeah I had to strip a small section of the music back to avoid a copyright strike and I think that probably embellishes the voice. But it is a little gruff anyway! But the game itself looks awesome
Beyond Shadowgate looks interesting cause it attempts to tie all of the company's games together including Deja Vu and Uninvited and making all of the worlds part of the same universe
The demo of Elroy was awesome! Also looking forward to Whirlight and As the Leaves Fall. 3 Minutes to Midnight is in my plan to play next (after finishing Unforseen Incidents which I'm finally playing and enjoying very much). And of course I will buy Broken Sword once again ;) But probably not play it soon, still got too much new stuff on my backlog.
I had a hard time understanding both "Whirlight" and "Elroy and the Aliens", due to dialectal quirks, but Google helped me :D Nice video and lots of cool games featured!
Wow. I'm already in love with As The Leaves Fall. The story sounds promising, the graphics look excellent. It can almost hold a candle to the wonderful pixel art style of Ben Chandler (Wadjet Eye Games). Beautifully drawn, dramatic and detailed pixel art in warm colours is exactly to my taste. And the best thing is that the game has even been announced with voice acting and the trailer also sounds very promising. The last games of this type and quality were Unavowed, Lamplight City, Thimbleweed Park and Whispers of a Machine. And that was 5-7 years ago. Since then, there has unfortunately been rather mediocre pixel art fare for my taste. Sometimes with good stories but always with major compromises (weak graphics, short playing time, no voice acting). I've been eagerly waiting for titles like The Drifter, Rosewater and Old Skies for a damn long time, and the releases keep getting postponed. I'm curious to see whether As The Leaves Fall will be completed and released sooner...
Which is your favourite?

@@Siperos I mean how late were the game and physical products released relative to the developer’s initially announced release date?

The as the leaves fall guy could use a strepsil but I loved the look of it.

Honestly I just love the old school vibes and music on this one. I don’t know anything about the original. Is it a must play?
Bro, thank you for these. Amazing job once more!
Thanks for the praise. 🫡

👍
Please make a video about the controversy of why the last Deponia game got taken out of PS and even Android stores. It’s so stupid.
What's title of last game?
Beyond Shadowgate
