Darabont and Mazarra leaving was terrible for the show regardless of the continued success. They would steered the tone into a more serious and human cinematic experience. Darabont deserves a lot of credit for laying the foundation of the series goes without saying.

Gimple has no clue what this show is about and I can't understand why RK agrees with the shit he produces... shitty cliffhangers, illogical storylines and last but not least all those splatter fx nobody needs... I could go on and on. Sry no offense but that's my opinion.
WendyTheCat86 Hey, you're good. Not to pile on, but the absence of an 'appropriate' soundtrack hurts. The score, for the most part does the job. But personally, I thought the songs that bookend a lot of the second and third seasons were so important to setting up a natural tone to the story. Even Beth's folk music was a nice touch. Mazarra deserves credit for that run though.
