After lack of Carol in season 11 and seeing Melissa McBride crying at SDCC 2022, I'm so happy to see both Carol in action and Melissa McBride smiling and doing promo alongside Daryl/Norman Reedus and being funny and goofy together, she seems so happy now ❤

@@forrestmiller8091 Carol was completely sidelined from main storyline, except her scenes with Lance and Melissa was treated like if she was not equal lead alongside Norman, JDM or Lauren Cohan and compared to them, she had quite low promo and screentime during s11 when she has been loyal to original twd for 12 years of making, and her being sad at SDCC 2022 was heartbreaking. That is why I'm so glad she is back in full force and happiness on her face.

10 years ago I would’ve never guessed Daryl, Carrol, and Chris Hardwick would be the only ones still involved with the walking dead. I thought they were going to be the first ones to jump ship, they were popular enough at one point to have a solo career if they wanted.
Well, at this magnitude, - This is AS BIG AS A SOLO CAREER!! The Walking Dead Spin-off here.. Is HUGE!! The success these stories bring people/fans, etc will NEVER FORGET! I know I won’t! Love them all so much and I’m so stoked to see Carol & Daryl in action together again!! ❤
I hope Carol goes back for that Mustang. Gave off real Road Warrior vibes.

I would also say that there might be reference to the way she treated Sam in the episode where he dies and Carol later regrets it when it’s shown where she hovers over his grave. In other words, once again she loses another child that she actually is growing fond of. But she did what she had to do to keep Sam from spilling the beans and jeopardizing the entire group. Regardless, Sam’s death was not what she intended to happen and it changed her.

This is super random, but I have watched SO MANY SHOWS (& movies) & not just in the “horror” genre, but so many others.
With that being said, I can honestly say I would choose Carol to protect me over any other character, & that says a lot bc as a short female, it seems like a natural choice would be a large & muscular man like Hodor from GOT.
Carol is EXTREMELY intelligent (I’m pretending like Morgan didn’t make her question her morality-terrible choice I blame on Scott Gimple, just like everything else I do that went wrong with the TWD universe…the list would be about 700 pages in writing). Never underestimate a woman who has been abu$ed like Carol went through with Ed, & all the loss she went through (not just with Sophia, but Lizzy and Mika, etc). Many people with a history of what she has been through have an uncanny ability to detect threats in their environment-especially when they’re in an apocalypse, an enhanced capacity to learn new things-like everything Rick & Daryl taught her jn s3 in the prison when she became grew confident & became a true warrior. She became so hyper aware of her surroundings, learned how to disconnect and kind of grow numb because so many terrible things have happened (sounds terrible, but that’s how you survive & what makes her incredible), BUT she is there for her group and has saved them (like at the prison, terminus, etc.).
She is good at manipulating those who don’t know her bc she looks so sweet & innocent and uses it to her advantage which is genius.
She also has awesome skill sets and the second anyone lets their guard down which it feels like she has a natural inkling to when they will, she attacks and takes on NUMEROUS people by herself.
In a world like TWD, THIS is who you want to protect you bc they’re a real survivor.
I love Carol. Daryl and Carol are such a dynamic duo and as much as I LOVE Rick & Michonne, you don’t have to have a romantic connection to take communities (or even a CRM) down and burn them. To me, they’re equally as powerful as long as Daryl doesn’t grow soft. But as long as Carol keeps him in line which he usually is regardless, esp after what he has been through to this point where they are now, they’re unstoppable. Never underestimate Carol & absolutely NOT Carol and Daryl together.

Yesss love her! I prefer her performance most in the original of course and H20. She was a total bada$$ in H20! Like most of the fandom, I try to pretend like the trash 🗑️ they call Resurrection didn’t happen 😂.

Fav movie in the franchise is the OG John’s Carpenter’s 1978 film, but Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers is pretty much the same level.

This was SO exciting to watch today!! I’m so thrilled and happy 😃 for the entire cast & crew & fans of course like me who can’t ever get enough of anything The Walking Dead!
I love how humble the creatures and crew were.. especially Norman Reedus about how they were all out there working for a buck-fitty (lol) out in hot crazy conditions… in Georgia in the beginning of all this the first couple seasons and how they all became so close and built such a strong bond and how they never imagined it could and would blow up to be so big now like it is 14 years later! Truly inspiring to hear the way they talked about their memories for sure!! ❤. I also love how Louis aka Laurent is such an intelligent & patient young man and how he was just taking it all in! I wanted to ask him if he grew up speaking both French and English at the same time or if he had to learn English in school… as many schools it is mandatory to learn English in other countries. ?

Norman Reedus said in podcast What in the duck recorded in fall 2023 and released in spring 2024 that name for show was not his idea and if I remember well show was supposed be called Pilgrim but AMC has gone with Daryl Dixon for marketing reasons
