Cool advice thanks, there is so much unrefined but really valuable great mocap data in the Mixamo archive and yes using and tweaking like this is a great way to upcycle those amazing resources :D ! I hope they stay alive forever to allow everyone to re-use and recycle!

What do you think of using Cascadeur? It seems like alot of this work can be done in that program, or am I missing something?
I don't know Cascadeur, however I'm eager to learn more about it if you think that is the case 🤙
