That right there tells the story of the 5H girl’s… they were all just young adolescents that the industry abused for their own benefit and they all dealt with it in their own way which sounds like feelings were hurt all around. I’m glad to see at least two of them are talking about the abuse the industry inflicts on these young artists.

I agree with this. The way they talk about their time with 5H, it's sad and it's maddening to think that the girls at such a young age not only their youth got wasted but they also have to suppress their talents since they were told shit that belittled and limit their capabilities. I'm glad they're finally doing their own thing, they're free and I hope they all find their own true happiness. They deserve that. I miss seeing them together tho. I hope one day they can reunite, even not back as Fifth Harmony but just friends catching up.
yh it's very sad what the industry did to the and i just watched about ally talking about fifth harmony saying she went through a lot i feel bad for all 5 of them but it's glad to see lauren doing good
Exactly , the tension in the group was all due to the things that were happening behind the scenes with the management , they were just 5 strangers put together for a competition and people luckily liked them and the industry saw dollars signs and used them as piggy banks , they had NO idea why they were getting into , none of them nor their parents had any experience with the music industry and when their contracts started taking a tole on them they started to cope with it differently and when that happened they were still 18-22 , still extremely young to know how to cope with this in a healthy way as a group
its sad because their group was just a toxic competition thing, the labels pick fav and drop the others off. i mean its not the ones fault, its all the management and labels' devious plans and needs for money.
Actually there are three out of the five girls talking about it from what I understand (Lauren, Ally, and Normani). I also hope they will all find ways to heal from that traumatic experience they dealt with from a young age. That’s one of the main reasons (if not the only reason) why celebrities tries to discourage kids, teens, and some times young adults from going into the spotlight at such a young age because they experience that as well in some way and don’t want the future generations of celebrities to go through that.
This is the most in depth I’ve seen any interviewer ask one of the girls about 5H since the split. I really wish they’d talk more about it but I do respect that everyone is healing like Lauren said, which takes time. Especially now knowing how traumatic of an experience that was for them.

The guy was pushing it when she clearly didn't want to discuss this issue.
I think she may have misinterpreted what he was saying as questioning why they couldn’t do the same thing as the spice girls. It sounded up until she was a bit snarky like he was just trying to the highlight the stark differences between the 2 girl groups but to her she got defensive bc it sounded like an unfair comparison he was making of like “well why couldn’t y’all do the same thing.” Apart from that, both girl groups were completely different. Spice girls were in their 20s-different ages so different phases in life of being sprung into a girl group and spotlight which makes way for a difference in maturity, life experience, knowing more of who you are and what you won’t do, capacity to let that be known to executives etc.
People hating on Zach when he was just asking in depth questions that everyone was curious about. He asked but never pushed any further.

Nothing inappropriate. It’s called an interview. She should’ve said no 5H question’s if that was how she felt but she didn’t so people should chill out w the trying to demonize him with reaching.
All of them have been through so much with the industry they've grown up in but you can tell it's taken the biggest toll on her.

I would think Ally took it way harder, she talked about it on her little podcast and started crying and getting emotional when talking about it. Lauren is way tougher than ally imo. And Dinah is literally no where to be found, so maybe she got hit the hardest..
Normani is still healing from her negative experiences in that group. From the death threats to not being given the spotlight and more, it really took a toll on her confidence and artistry. She’s talked about it in recent interviews
Lauren was and still is someone I look up to! She’s wise beyond her age. You can just see her strengths oozing out of her! Love this women! And we gotta admit 5h killed it regardless l!
This is the wisest take on that situation. I love how she didn't victimise herself and try to point finger at someone else, (especially when it is a trend to be shady and she may gain lots of attention and sympathy for it). But she choosed the right words to say. It is 100% compassion. She is really mature , insightful and good-hearted person, I respect her for that. Hopefully, her career will thrive, because her intentions are good.

No matter what happened behind the scenes between them , no matter what happenes next , no matter where they go and what they do , NO ONE will understand those girls the way they understand eachother and that’s a special bond , such a crucial part of their lives both career wise and just stepping into adulthood ,
This is why I love Lauren so much, she’s honest with herself and she nothing bad thing to say to anyone. Not even her bandmates.

I am grateful for having lived the time of 5H, but sometimes I miss those moments where they were a group, I am even more grateful that each one is enjoying life at their own pace, overcoming all the bad times they have had and learning from mistakes. . I am proud of the mature women they have become. 💗
One day I hope they release a documentary about what happened in Fifth Harmony, hopefully when they reunite and release there 4th album.

Well if they do I hope it is with a label and management team that will actually treat the girls properly and tbh I found Syco sketchy anyway and epic like why would they think it’s ok two minors singing that they can be a man’s suga mama?
100% they will make a comeback but it won’t be now, nor will it be in a few years. I can see it happening 20 years down the road for a really special occasion, like the Spice Girls did with the Olympics or Girls Aloud did with Children in Need… and if it goes well like those two groups did, then I could even see a reunion tour potentially happen.
Lauren is such a wise woman and she talks with such power and intellect. She speaks so humbly and so respectfully. It’s amazing to see how much she grew.
When she spoke about not being herself bc of depression, anxiety and anger it makes me feel like that could explain her song scattered a little bit. If you've listened to scattered you know what lines I mean, "think I might need some help I don't feel like myself I don't feel like myself."
I love them so much, the group mean so much to me, I'm glad they still feel like sisters, even of they are far away from each other. And the last thing Lauren said about healing, you are so f wise, love you ❤️
there still so much pain, she sounds defensive in some answers she gave... I think it would be great to hear their experiences so that younger artists and specially female one can be more aware about how the music industry works and also through their testimonies help to make some changes... but it's their story to tell and they will or will not tell it, and either way is okay

Huh? I didn’t get at all that he was implying insulation with Camila in mind trying to paint her as the victim. When he brought up how the SP created insulation, it sounded like he was pointing out the difference between both groups in how they were able to create insulation amongst each other and against any other forces outside the group that may have been of any influence. She took offense bc I think she thought he was actively trying to fault them for not doing the same but it didn’t sound that way to me and it certainly didn’t sound as if he was being subliminal abt Camila. If anything, Lauren was indirectly referring to her towards the end abt not being able to judge anyone for how they acted while hurt etc. It’s also important to mention that neither you or I know what happened in the group or what Camila’s dynamic was like with them behind the scenes, what the cameras showed us and their respective statements once they separated only tells us as outsiders so much. No one but them knows how things went on so we can assume that she was being sneaky and that she and Ally weren’t close but those are just assumptions bc we don’t know the details. They have yet to divulge much.
Yes you can hear the defensiveness in her answers. I’m sure this whole situation was very hard on them. Maybe they will all get to a point where they can talk about it openly and without any hurt.

U know maybe 5H were great friends but they just had a hard time with the industry and were treated unfairly but I think that the girls r actually good friends
I think they could have been. But they were manipulated and controlled and pitted against each other a lot. It’s hard to stay friends in that environment but they weren’t even friends going into it. As Lauren said they were all hurt and suffered with bad mental health with no help offered to them and she openly admits she wasn’t a positive person to be around which is probably the same for all of them. It certainly explains the dramatic fallout when Camila left. They were jealous that she was able to escape without sacrificing her career and felt betrayed. Because they would have all done the same if they were in the position to.

As much as I would have loved these ladies to tough it out and remain as Fifth Harmony , I’m glad they are now able to pave their own journey , where they make their own decisions now . I hope they all remain doing well and and much much more success they are all so multi talented and people need to get into them all (Ally ,Normani ,Dinah,Camilla and Lauren !!)

I think they’re gonna remain on hiatus until the contract expires so they don’t have to fulfill those last 2 albums
@@babs-bofficial4928 on their contract yes they still have two more albums but it’s not required to record those albums to get out of that contract. All contracts in that field do have a date to them that expires which is the reason why the girls are waiting until that happens before reuniting and making music again. Epic decided that they were not going to let the girls do another album but they also weren’t going to allow them to get out of their contract. That’s why the girls are taking a break which honestly I think they need it. And apparently once their contract with Epic is up Lauren, Normani, Ally, and Dinah Jane (no clue about Camila but I doubt it) are going to get together and tell the real story that happened.
The way these young artists are being taken advantage of. Fifth Harmony could've have been the happiest part of their lives. But everytime they talk about Fifth Harmony, it sounds like a cage they all got locked into. Something that they want to heal from. They're beautiful, young. I hope that they now have the artistic freedom they want.

watching fifth harmony argue and fight a lot i was like wtf are these girls doing but now it makes sense. they are literally a bunch of strangers forced to live together and co exist with each other. its 5 different worlds that have different ways to act and react so it might get messy. all of them also were used badly by the industry which must be really hard for them. im glad they're doing their own shit now

This is the second time I saw someone from the GROUP talked about theirselves. First is Dinah then her. I know ally said something too but I never got the chance to listen too. I love these girls. They're the first girl group i stan. And I cried the whole day when I got home got the news that they disbanded. :( I miss them so much.

Seeing this makes me miss Fifth Harmony so much. Those girls helped me through so much. It sucks to know that they went through so much bullshit and no one knew anything. To think about the countless rumors and nagging and the constant hate. It sucks. Omg it sucks. I don’t think anyone realized how bad it was for them.
