They say that to be as extreme as possible so the article can get more attention, I am currently drinking a 475mL rockstar and it has 160mg of caffeine totaled.
What’s this about your average energy drink having “500mg of caffeine”? I’m not sure about Red Bull, but the strongest one I’ve ever had was 300mg (Reign). I don’t know where this doctor got that information.
In 2011 I almost died because of the green Monster Energy Drinks. Short story after drinking 3 over the course of the day I had passed out for over 40 hours from Kidney Failure. Laying on my right arm causing Compartment Syndrome & Rhabdomyolysis. Luckily I'm only disabled now instead of dead. I also add the long story if anyone wants to know the dangers of Energy Drinks. It's not just the green Monsters it's all energy drinks.
this whole video is a lie, you need to drink 700mg of caffeine to have any side effects which is equivalent to over 11 small red bulls a day. the 500mg a drink is a complete lie "500mg of caffeine in most energy drinks" most don't even have 500mg in them.
Honestly, I feel fine whenever I have red bull. I don’t have one everyday but I do like them. Since I’m a kid, I researched about red bull. For my age the daily cap of caffeine is 100mg. In one red bull can there is only 80mg. I don’t feel like crap after. I feel like how I usually am when drinking soda. If you like the taste but are afraid of the health risks, have it in moderation.
I haven't had caffeine in 3 months. I will never drink high levels of caffeine again. I may decide to drink green tea again one day but I will never have an energy drink again. I'm gonna try my best to live well into my 90s.
I had a monster yesterday morning, had one hour of sleep with the most excruciating pain throughout my whole body. Last time I ever drink caffeine for sure.
They can also have a stroke which happened to my daughter's dad. He was 40 years old , didn't drink alcohol or smoke(he smoked but had quit for two years before this happened) . He used to only drink monster drinks all day. He was playing drums in 100 degree weather and had a stroke. He is now disabled. He can enunciate words but the words don't make sense when strung together. He has seizures now from the stroke. His life, as he knew it, is over he can't drive because of the seizures and he cannot communicate successfully with anyone. So, keep drinking those red bulls and monsters and maybe you will get rewarded the same way he did. Oh, and he was physically in shape..not ovese...nowhere near obese
@@martinleon3145 , Okay. Look, he is not the only person to have a stroke or heart attack from energy drinks. Do what you want. True! It’s like alcohol, you have to drink in moderation and it affects everyone differently. I generally have one if I’m tired, which then I’ll drink 1 can and have no other caffeine that day. that doctor doesn't know what he's talking about, in a can of red bull, there is only 160 mg or so of caffiene. the most highest caffiene in a regular energy drink that i can think of is nos, it has around 300 mg. the recommended daily limit is around 400 mg. as long as you don't drink more than a couple a day, you should be fine

The real problem I feel, isn't the caffeine, but the boat loads of vitamins and crap they inevitably cram into them which can also be dangerous long term if you have an over consumption.
Sure is tasty though
I wonder how many people from let's say 1800's would find it tasty. I think it's just conditioning and marketing, it tastes like Mendeleev's Table.
@Kyle That doesn't mean it can't have adverse effects, like sugar and other crap we pump into our bodies anyway, I guess at the end of the day we can agree that life is as dangerous for you as you make it yourself lol
Yes because the vitamins are synthetically made making them inflammatory to the body and the caffeine just accelerates it.
I had to watch this for school
Its 2019 and there aint a lot of incidents of people getting ill from energy drinks so i guess people now stopped?
Caffeine make you wake up
Alcohol make you sleep
😂
I’ve drank at least 5 vodbulls a night while on vacation before and I’m still here
AHA! You didn’t drink a red bull, you drank a VODBULL!
1:30 bro wdym they don't have to say how much caffeine is in it? It literally says how much there is
Damn 5 cups of coffee I just drank 2 and I’m really energized 😂😂
Im sure you'll keep doing until your praying for your life one day and the penny drops, but as usual its too late. Like the doc said you've got one heart.
Im good with 1 😂
And what kind of coffee is he drinking? I drink a gallon of espresso a day
Because they drink like 5 of em! That's why lol
And here 7 years later we still have energy drinks
Energy drinks helped with my depression throughout high school. glad I chose monster and not fucking weed.
Lol, you said what I was thinking. I suffer from mild depression & yes energy drinks do actually help. Only problem is that it is a fix. You need it again & again because its not a cure to depression.
@Zagros call it the butterfly effect but I'm a completely different person now
It’s all about balance... like everything else in life. The best ones are organic natural... like GURU organic energy drink... one or max 2 per day
MTN dew's Game Fuel (energy drink) has 45mg per serving or 90mg per bottle lol I drink them I'm 11 gang gang
I'm 11 also I'm drinking a 105 mg Red Bull right now gang gang
I’ve been drinking energy drinks ever since I was 14. I really enjoyed the taste of them, sometimes I was combining them with coffee, been doing that for almost 9 years. 1 month ago I had my last energy drink ever ( hopefully ) 😊
when i was in 8th grade i drank 3 monsters at knotts nothing happened 💆♂️
jacob Exactly in quality drink getting quality
God Dam, dude, you being alive is nothing far from a miracle
View Tiful there have been literally no evidence that drinking one daily will send u to the doctor. It’s just all dumb asses that drink like 10 or mix it with alcohol
View Tiful wait what I’ve been drinking 2-3 Red Bull’s a day for the last 5 years
Dude you're going to become a monster
They’re saying that it has 500mg per can but also that “they don’t specify how much in it.” Also when they show the nutrition facts for it it literally says 80mg of caffeine 💀
Yea I agree like he must be chugging that extreme pack lol
In 2011 I almost died because of the green Monster Energy Drinks. Short story after drinking 3 over the course of the day I had passed out for over 40 hours from Kidney Failure. Laying on my right arm causing Compartment Syndrome & Rhabdomyolysis. Luckily I'm only disabled now instead of dead.
I also add the long story if anyone wants to know the dangers of Energy Drinks. It's not just the green Monsters it's all energy drinks.
2:15 doesn’t help that they are using comic sans
Waffled Waf fact: comic sans sends countless people to the ER every year
Why did he say there was 500mg of caffeine in energy drinks? I Googled it and the highest contain is 300mg.
Chest feel weird asf I been drinking these mfz like crazy 🤦🏾♂️🥴that’s y I’m watchin this video now
You only get one heart.
My red bull sugar free says 80 mg ....., leave me alone lmao
Destiny tran no aspartame is just a non calorie sweetener
❤ Drinking too much water almost took my life from water Toxicity that I knew nothing about Just don't over do anything is the lesson Stay safe ❤
I dont know why i cant stop drinking them, its very addictive. redbull is bad but cant help it.
Here's my energy drink: water
Well, I'm not going to have one again.
this whole video is a lie, you need to drink 700mg of caffeine to have any side effects which is equivalent to over 11 small red bulls a day. the 500mg a drink is a complete lie "500mg of caffeine in most energy drinks" most don't even have 500mg in them.
Cant relate
Even if u take the biggest redbull its still likr 300mg of caffeine. Which is basically espresso..
500mg? I call bs
regular size monster only has like 160
Everything in moderation. Your brain can get intoxicated if you drink too much water.
Lol Red Bull has only 104 mg of caffeine
Honestly, I feel fine whenever I have red bull. I don’t have one everyday but I do like them. Since I’m a kid, I researched about red bull. For my age the daily cap of caffeine is 100mg. In one red bull can there is only 80mg. I don’t feel like crap after. I feel like how I usually am when drinking soda. If you like the taste but are afraid of the health risks, have it in moderation.
That's stuff killed my brother KS.
Sorry to hear that, thanks for the warning.
Where do I get this 500mg energy drink
Watching this while I'm drinking monstee
My god thats terrible!
*Takes a sip of redbull*
i drink 1 redbull a day
Wow ur cool
Wow dude you're a pro fortnite gamer like neenja
Me too i cant go without my redbull every morning
Energy drinks and coffe are dangerous
And was a smoker for years prior the two short years.... Stop
@@martinleon3145 , Okay. Look, he is not the only person to have a stroke or heart attack from energy drinks. Do what you want. Even smokers don't have high odds of having a stroke at age 40, especially with an active lifestyle. Take that risk, I'm just trying to educate you on risks, but you do you, boo
Drinking high amounts of caffeine in one day, PLUS b6 doverdose as a smoker. This is like saying McDonalds is bad because of SupserSize Me.@@tiredofit1968
Energy drinks are so bad that you can have a heat stroke in 100 degree weather when dehydrated.@@tiredofit1968
Everyone says it’s so bad for you
It’s different how it affects people
They never talk about that
I drink energy drink alot and have a collection and i’m a teen!
I don’t have heart burn or heart problems or any like that i’m fine!
True! It’s like alcohol, you have to drink in moderation and it affects everyone differently. I generally have one if I’m tired, which then I’ll drink 1 can and have no other caffeine that day. If they want to solve the problem how about they make smaller cans with not as much caffeine but still enough to give you some energy (note it probably won’t be as much energy as a big one but still you get the point)
But you will be unhealthy from the chemicals.
The chemicals will be unhealthy no matter what.
You’re a teen. Keep it up and see what happens in 5-10 years
@@HollerAtcherBoi My dads been drinking since he was 10 or so, 1 or 2 a day. Mother been smoking since 16, daily. They’re in their mid 40’s. If they can live over 40 years i think i’ll be alright with 160MILI Grams of caffeine in my body every NOW and THEN.
that doctor doesn't know what he's talking about, in a can of red bull, there is only 160 mg or so of caffiene. the most highest caffiene in a regular energy drink that i can think of is nos, it has around 300 mg. the recommended daily limit is around 400 mg. as long as you don't drink more than a couple a day, you should be fine
ye but that ultra paradise monster got me 😩
After drinking a coffee/rum cocktail last night and 5 cans of Redbull afterwards on a night out with my buddies, I literally thought I was going to die last night when I got home to bed. I thought my ribs were going to cave in on my lungs and heart. My heart was racing fast, I got muscle twiches all over me and increased anxiety and paranoia too. Needless to say I couldn't sleep which felt so strange because I was exhausted but I was completed wired. I was pretty scared.
Then DONT DRINK 5 OF THEM! one is safe but NOT 5!
@@Propainus I didn't realise that at the time.
@@ashleelmb ok 😂 but that easily could have killed you.
@@Propainus I realise that now. I think its really irresponsible of these energy drink companies though, to not put the dangers of over consumption on their packaging. Alcohol manufacturers have to because of the dangers in consuming to much of it. Why aren't the energy drink manufacturers obliged to either? The dangers in drinking something like this, that are sold on shop shelves are not just common sense to people.
@@ashleelmb I mean, yeah. There are small warnings on the cans but still. They should be more pronounced. Not just little spots of text underneath the ingredients list.
R.I.P........ KEVIN SAMUELS
yes its true i feel dehydrated and the whole day my kidneys pain dont over do it guys
How many do you have a day?
After the 4th one i spazz out! Good alternative to yay😂😂😂
Well drink water every once and a while and you won’t get kidney pain.
what a wonderful way to trigger a panic attack
I just had my first red bull in my 16 years of living. I was so paranoid, I still dont trust energy drinks.
this whole video is a lie, you need to drink 700mg of caffeine to have any side effects which is equivalent to over 11 small red bulls a day. the 500mg a drink is a complete lie "500mg of caffeine in most energy drinks" most don't even have 500mg in them.
How much they they get paid? Coffee is now chocolate milk, and now energy drinks have 5x the amount of caffeine they say they do. Lol.
I only drink water and maybe one or two cups of soda a month. I bought one of the big redbulls and chugged it in less than 5min. Rode a bike and had to stop. Couldn't breathe and felt like I was going to pass out.
🙁😮😬
I had a super twist 5-calorie Gatorade energy drink before work and it did something weird and painful to my stomach. Ever since I stayed away from energy drinks. I now only consume coffee or a legit pre workout that I have yet to experience stomach pain from.
