Tiffany, I do admire your creativity and you ability to go with the flow by continuing to work with it and allow time to decide what comes next. The colors are some of my favorites. Waiting for my ColourArte paints and pigments to arrive! Thank you for the 20% off! Can't wait to see what you do next! ♥♥♥
@@TiffanyRemijnArt I generally have a plan, not always completely thought through, but a plan, and I rarely stay on track with it....I let my excitement lead me off into many different directions. Ever read the comic strip Family Circus, where the kids take the long way home or to respond to being called...when I'm by myself, I think I may be a member of that family! Anyway, thanks for the response and for all that you share with us! Have a beautiful day! ♥♥♥
I agree if I have a plan and I try to stick to it, I usually end up in a mess. That's the hardest thing about being a content creator on YT. Sometimes I just want to create and not think about camera angles or just giving myself permission to change course, stop amd walk away and come back later. I do remember Family Circus .... is it the ones with the dotted lines and and the map and everywhere they went and what they did?
@@TiffanyRemijnArt I do hope you allow yourself to create even with the camera recording just for yourself, you can choose whether you'd like to share it with us at a later time. I would like to record myself if only to see what I did later, if I wanted to recreate a painting that I felt turned out exceptional. When I first started, I tried to document supplies, technique, details etc...that organized side of me has apparently been archived! Yes, Family CIrcus was mostly about the kids and their daily activities, and the showing their journey from here to there. Have a fun day!
It's handy to go back and review what you did. Especially when something doesnt go well, you can always see in the video where you went wrong. I record everything I do and I share all of it eventually. Some of the textured stuff I have are work in process .... I got stuck on the couple of them 😉
I think this looks awesome and plastic wrap is fun there is a lot more it can do too. I love watching you exploring and we learn along the way. Try not to stress Tiffany you have that magic touch, there will always be times when we stuff up. Your art is awesome and so are you. 🥰 Thankyou for being here and sharing with the world.
I will definitely explore plastic wrap again in the future, it did leave a very unique spikey surface texture and I can't imagine any other way to achieve that look. 🥰
The other day when we were both in Saskia's premiere this one was laying on the table already for 3 days while I struggled to come up with a way to fix it Paula. I'm glad you liked the end result!
This piece is truly stunning. The effect from the plastic wrap, gives such a dimension, along with your layered colours, there is so much for the eyes to explore. I love it 😍 ♥️💐💐💐💐
Hello Tiffany I have watched this attempt before and I think they pulled the plastic wrap off while the paint was still wet but yours looks great I love that solar flair color mixed with bronze it gives you a beautiful glow from the gold, is it metallic gold if not I think it would great too, love your work
Thanks so much, as I've only ever done the plastic wrap once I have no reference if I were to remove it when the paint was wet. I would assume the effect would be the same as the ridges would have been formed by the plastic? The only thing I would say once it's dry and you remove it, the texture isn't going anywhere. The solar flare is a metallic acrylic paint by ColourArte, and I really like it a lot, it's thinner than regular tube paint and it always creates a metallic sheen and there are so many colour options, the sky is the limit!
Well i think it turned out gorgeous!! As I sit here still staring at this huge pile of tree bark, trying to figure out how to pull off what’s in my head…..🤣 I need you on a zoom call to help me narrow down all my thoughts! 😂❤
I like the multi layers of textures and colours. Adding the bronze to the gold was very pretty. Bronze for me a lot of times just doesn't work well. I love working with tape. I am horrible with brush marks and agree with you and you inspired me to buy the Catalyst wedge you have. Thanks for the lesson and inspiration. I will try in Silver/Grey's and see what happens. Love you keeping it REAL REAL
This is only the second time I worked with tape, I was nervous pulling it up afraid it would grab the paint because I waited until the texture was dry before removing it, but it seemed okay. Excited for you to try the catalyst wedge! Let me know how it works for you! I might try the Venetian plaster background again on a different painting, I like the silver too 😉
It’s stunning!! It looks like you glued dried plants on there, I love it! And I love your gold and black color choice, you need to learn me how you restrain yourself from using too many colors😂 Absolutely adore it and adore you❤️
The plastic wrap thing is not at all what I expected, those ice looking things dry really hard and spikey. It really cool and I will try it again some day but I really want to figure out 🤔 to control the outcome better. As far as refraining from colour ..... it because you have to many beautiful colour options ..... its hard to pick one! 😉😘
And there it is! Turned out a beautiful piece. I have a black one in which I used plastic to create texture (over black paste) awaiting for better inspiration... still don't know what to do next... Maybe some interference pigments... don´t know yet...
What about creating a rustic looking piece? I'm envisioning the black on black would make the best backdrop/foundation. Like how Saskia used the ember fire?
Hello, I find your channel and your posts very interesting. Unfortunately there are no subtitles. As a result, I cannot follow your surely instructive information, tips and explanations. I find that very unfortunate. 😕
You should be able to put closed caption on any device and be able to read everything. After a few days I usually go back and correct any of the closed captioned where there are spelling errors. In fact I just check and the closed caption on this video is working. Hope you can turn that on, if you are on your mobile device, click on the video and cc should be on right hand side top of the screen and on desktop it's the in the right corner of video. Hope that helps?
Something new, i like it💛🖤
Glad you like it 😉
This turned out awesome 🤩
Thanks so much Gerri!

It's definitely an interesting piece!
I think so too, it wasn't exactly what I had envisioned but it was fun to see what was possible with such a limited colour palette. 🥰
Love it❤❤❤
Your videos are fun! Enjoying your texture ones 😊
Glad you like them Patti! 😉

Really pretty. Great job 😊
Thank so much!
It came great! Such an elegant feel to it.
That's the way I felt about it too!
Love this texture, would love to see some more vibrant colors!!!
Give me some colour options that you would like and maybe I can! 😉
Interesting concept
I like how you divided the canvas and I really like how you added the texture. Black and gold are so elegant! Great job Tiffany! ❤

Let me know if you do it amd how it turns out!
Hi, when you were layering the gold and black did you let each layer dry before applying the next? it wasn't clear from the video. Lovely piece.
Thanks so much, yes I did let it dry, however when I used the solar flair from prizm pour it dries really fast which is great!
I took your advice and tried plastic wrap!!!! Let me know what you think and if you have any tips below 👇
