interesting concept. Thanks. I used garbage bags crunched up on the canvas that I had layered with paint. I used multi layering of paints and bags drying layers in between. This was easier for me to blend in the end. Thanks for the inspirations
I did a painting like this on aluminum foil a couple of years ago in dark moody colours and it turned out quite beautiful. I should reallly try it again with some lighter colours. Such an interesting process!

While creating this pc, being a complete novice, I saw so many directions this pc could of gone and with each brush stroke, dabbing here and there, I watched it change into so many thing…..at one point I could see a tree amongst the forrest with a pond in front……but I guess this is truly abstract….thank you

I just discovered your channel and really want to thank you. I'm a beginner in painting and was stressing so hard over trying to paint perfect photorealistic paintings, which are obviously not possible to achieve by a beginner - and that led me to throw unfinished paintings into the corner of the room not to be touched again. Your art opened my eyes to painting an idea, a feel, an emotion of something and not the exact, photorealistic thing. You gave me a ton of inspiration to look into another way of creating art, to make art more fun for me instead of stressfull. You are an amazing artist, your art is magnificent, thank you for inspiring me.

It’s amazing how we can have these epiphanies from watching others do what obviously comes so natural to them while we seem to have to pull n stress over the smallest things. I have learned to stop the fear that held me back. To remember that it’s just canvas n paint. I was so fearful of messing up the painting that I was mentally paralyzed to making progress in my artwork. Now my work shows a tremendous amount of improvement . Just by letting go of fear. Now if I could just loosen up. My work is still so tight n I struggle like crazy to loosen it up. It all looks contrived n perfectly even. I’m confident tho that some artist,some comment,some painting will occur that will “loose” my hand forever n I will open up a new world to my own self that I may finally spread my wings n fly instead of standing under the trees. I’m watching n waiting. Thanks to ALL these fine teachers for posting. U know not what u do for ppl.

Wow, that's great.. I felt that it would be a very interesting work from the first minute and I was amazed. The canvas turned into metal and then wood with the aluminum folio. I left my heart under every tree in the forest you created, dear Sergio❤️.
Oh, by the way, I have to ask: does matte medium have a job other than sticking aluminum foil? Or can mod podge be used instead? Please don't laugh for this question...😂

You used foil to express the natural roughness of the surface. It also feels like a mysterious forest. As you apply multiple layers of paint using a sponge, your artwork becomes more and more special and attractive. 👍👍

interesting concept. Thanks. I used garbage bags crunched up on the canvas that I had layered with paint. I used multi layering of paints and bags drying layers in between. This was easier for me to blend in the end. Thanks for the inspirations

I did a painting like this on aluminum foil a couple of years ago in dark moody colours and it turned out quite beautiful. I should reallly try it again with some lighter colours. Such an interesting process!

While creating this pc, being a complete novice, I saw so many directions this pc could of gone and with each brush stroke, dabbing here and there, I watched it change into so many thing…..at one point I could see a tree amongst the forrest with a pond in front……but I guess this is truly abstract….thank you

I just discovered your channel and really want to thank you. I'm a beginner in painting and was stressing so hard over trying to paint perfect photorealistic paintings, which are obviously not possible to achieve by a beginner - and that led me to throw unfinished paintings into the corner of the room not to be touched again. Your art opened my eyes to painting an idea, a feel, an emotion of something and not the exact, photorealistic thing. You gave me a ton of inspiration to look into another way of creating art, to make art more fun for me instead of stressfull.

It’s amazing how we can have these epiphanies from watching others do what obviously comes so natural to them while we seem to have to pull n stress over the smallest things. I have learned to stop the fear that held me back. To remember that it’s just canvas n paint. I was so fearful of messing up the painting that I was mentally paralyzed to making progress in my artwork. Now my work shows a tremendous amount of improvement . Just by letting go of fear. Now if I could just loosen up. My work is still so tight n I struggle like crazy to loosen it up. It all looks contrived n perfectly even. I’m confident tho that some artist,some comment,some painting will occur that will “loose” my hand forever n I will open up a new world to my own self that I may finally spread my wings n fly instead of standing under the trees. I’m watching n waiting. Thanks to ALL these fine teachers for posting. U know not what u do for ppl.

Wow, that's great.. I felt that it would be a very interesting work from the first minute and I was amazed. The canvas turned into metal and then wood with the aluminum folio. I left my heart under every tree in the forest you created, dear Sergio❤️.
Oh, by the way, I have to ask: does matte medium have a job other than sticking aluminum foil? Or can mod podge be used instead? Please don't laugh for this question...😂
