It’s too bad the English VA’s don’t play the game or we could get one made by them too. I’m always so happy to see the energy and enthusiasm from the Japanese VA’s.
Some CFV VAs do play game but I don't think that either of those two VAs are among those that do.

Arigato for this amazing tutorial. I'm already a player of Vanguard and I just had to know the new and recent rules. The new mechanices caught me by surprise, especially how the power boosts of the triggers increased SIGNIFICANTLY. From 5000 to 10000, now THAT'S a boost! 😀😀😀😀.

I have a vanguard tournament at my school so thats why im watching this video
I'm going to the demo caravan at my local store in a couple days. I've never played Vanguard before, but I've always enjoyed the show and wanted to try. I know the reboot was a big decision for Bushiroad, but I'm personally really excited they did it, cause now it gives me a great opportunity to start the game! Excited!~~

Sometimes it's best to actually see a game in play than read the instructions...I learn better by seeing a card game in action and playing it than reading all the rules slowly with no visual aid but pictures so this vid helped a lot..and I got two trial decks so I can teach my friends how to play too..plus the one I gave to another friend as a birthday present..now it's just a case of us all having enough free time to have a game night lol.

Can i mix Japanese and English versions in one deck? For instance, 3 Japanese isseult and 1 English isseult.

lw 2 you’d have to ask any local card shop that the caravan is going to for confirmation the shop their going to for me is only getting the royals start deck

I have a question about gifts. They make it seem like you accumulate the power, aka you would attack with +20000 gained from the +10000 on your last turn. Is this the case? Or is it like how power usually works where it goes back to its base power even when it attacks?
Mr.Jankson A marker grants +10k only during your turn, and it does not stack. However, if you place another marker on the same circle, the unit there will gain +10k per marker

Standard (Only V series cards can be used)
So the power boost from triggers got doubled? Great now my cards are going to all be invalid for this new season. I just hope a trial deck for Nova Grapplers shows up sooner rather than later.
MindstormXL Don't worry, with premium format all series cards will be allowed. 10k triggers have the added bonus of extra power, but remember things like stand triggers with effects are still quite strong ^-^
Yeah stand trigger were pretty common with the deck archetype I've been using (Nova Grappler: Blaukluger set)

I personally don’t favor the new gift cards, I quit playing vanguard competitively because of them. They give WAY too much advantage to whoever is using them. I enjoyed playing vanguard but I did not want to re purchase my cards because a rule was changed. I’m sure I’m not the only one who doesn’t have the money for that. I enjoyed the old ways of playing and I think the gift cards ruined the game.
To me...vanguard ruin..when they start introduce grade 4 , your called it G unit or something..

Dora Leong with the new rules, starting in standard & premium format, it is possible to guard with any grade Regardless of your vanguard's grade

Thanks for the disclaimer, most people will shuffle or cut your deck without any care or (my personal pet peeve) when someone just picks up one of my cards cause they're not sure of my skill...like b**** I've been playing ahsha for 6 Months and you still don't know what bloom does ?! Guess netdecking is a way of life for some people

Can these cards use in tournament?
They can. The English versions of the demo decks (coming out soon) will be Standard and Premium Legal.
They cannot however be used in G Format.

Monto816 no there are two/three formats G Premium and Standard Standard format uses these cards only nothing from the latest Bermuda set and down then there's Premium which allows all cards to be used (think Legacy) and g only allows cards from the most recent Bermuda set and down

Afterwards, draw the same amount, then shuffle your deck. The fight then resumes

An English version should have been made. This is not a proper method to teach players to play a game. New players from Western countries should get a full video in English to fully understand the game.
