Super Metroid GT Classic in

First 4:4x bombs in an eventual PB, and first PB with bootless. This was actually my first try at bootless in GT Classic and I went 2-for-2, with first-try GGG both times... that might be the first time I've busted out a new route and not fallen on my face the first night of attempts LMAO. Getting full halfie is also a rarity; so many good things in this run. I did have to give up the baby skip (my prior PB had the springball baby skip). I gave it a try, and my first run had a better attempt at it which I started the VOD with, but my first run had a garbage early game. Really I'd had several runs with questionable early game lately, so this 4:49 came out of nowhere, and the next segments were good too. 6:44 early supers? That might be my best ever. 8:34 alpha PBs? 11:02 varia? And to think if I hadn't been scammed on the hero shot those times would have been even better. There is some time save here and there (and obviously baby skip) but this run will be hard to beat. I'll be happy just to keep pace with it.
